Some fuck up in Canada is on trial for raping and sexually exploiting his daughters. When they tried to charge him with bestiality for smearing peanut butter on his daughter's vaginas and taping the dog licking it off, the Canadian Supreme Court intervened and put a stop to it because this didn't involve penetration.

That's basically the problem with the far-left, they're in love with "change" just for the sake of change, and in order for them to stay in business there always has to be a 'persecuted class'. Therefore even when none exist, one has to be 'invented'. (Much as something has to be a "crime" in order for law enforcement to exist, because if there was no "crime" many people would be without their jobs).

Therefore even with the end of slavery, the success of women's suffrage, and Jim Crow laws repealed, the left had to come up with new classes of victimhood. Now that gay rights has been accomplished, they're digging the bottom of the barrel and venturing into transgender, bestiality, and pedophilia.

This is why I definitely believe society is nearing the point of a massive pushback in the opposite direction, because like a rubber band, you can only pull it so far in one direction before it comes snapping back hard in the other.

If the French Revolution was when society reached a breaking point and pushed hard in the direction of the left, we're nearing the point of a counter-revolution back toward the right; with even "liberal" countries like Austria nearly electing a "far-right" president, and Trump's surging popularity despite the incessant allegations of him being a "fascist" or "white supremacist". Even the left themselves are doing themselves in with their social justice fetishism by allying themselves with Muslims who would stone them to death if they ever expressed their deviant views in an Islamic country.

I don't think the court ruled that it is OK to engage in these practices. Rather, they agreed with the appellant that the current laws on the books do not definitely outlaw non-penetrative sexual contact with animals.

If there is any decency in Canada, the legislative process will soon make a change to that.

The courts don't have that power, however. They can only interpret.

And yet...Celine Dion and René Angélil stayed together happily for thirty years: From 1986 when they started dating until his death in 2016.

Was their relationship "weird?" Or is it the modern world that weird, and their relationship was relatively normal when looked at through the larger lens of how men and women dated throughout history?

Sometimes things only seem abnormal because of cultural context. This wouldn't have been so weird 100 years ago. And I'll say this much: She stuck to him like glue. She always seemed, on some level, like the teenager looking up to the manager who took her to stardom.

It's food for thought, especially considering how the divorce rate skyrocketed when marriage started becoming more "egalitarian" in the post feminist era.
