In the wake of the Stanford Rape case, Xhamster has taken a stand against a category of pornography that involves rape. Showing this message to all users who search the term.

No great loss. Xvideos.com has a far better porn selection than Xhamster.com.

I'm pretty sure this is a publicity stunt designed to improve XHamster's SEO.

If you Google "porn" XHamster is way down at the bottom of the first page. The goal of this is to get newspapers to write about and link to Xhamster. Links from news websites are very valuable for SEO and almost impossible to get for adult sites. Search for XHamster on Google and you'll find a lot of articles linking to their press release: http://xhamster.com/user/xHamster/posts/544905.html

99% of "news" of this type, where a company cashes in on a controversial event, is PR bullshit. Same thing with the North Carolina bathroom law. Their PR/SEO team is using these events to get editorial links from newspaper and magazine websites, all while furthering their brand. Smart business move Smile
