RE: Online-Girl Hamster Thread
If the statement in the Humans of New York thing Days of Broken Arrows posted above is a direct quote from the woman, does it contain a Freudian slip?

Quote:After being independent for so long, and going from place to place and man to man, I've finally come to a point where I'm ready to settle. And I can't.

In the relationship realm, to "settle" means something very different from "settle down." Modern women are urged not to "settle" — in fact, a few years ago a book called Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough caused a stir when it offered advice to women in brazen defiance of this mainstream mantra.

You "settle down" with the person you love; you settle for something which is less than what you had wanted (or expected).

Seen in this light, she seems to be saying: "I've bounced around from exciting fling to exciting fling, now I'm ready to endure a less-than-thrilling beta for the sake of marriage. Except the task is proving to be not nearly as easy as I'd thought." The guy whom she planned to marry shocked her by rejecting her. That, as they say, was not supposed to happen.

Now she's faced with a dilemma: Do I lower my standards even more? Should I just wait it out? Is my Prince Charming right around the corner — or should I start my subscription to Cat Fancy?

I noticed the same thing, but couldn't really put it into words, very well done. As you said "settle" is very different from "settle down" and I think your point is spot on.

And this is why even the feminists who do manage to end up married don't lose any of their bitterness and anger, it's because they didn't end up with their first choice. They settled.

Think Lindy West wanted to marry an effeminate non-white guy? One can tell from that photo where she's wearing a (xxxxxxxxl-sized) t shirt stating "I wish I had the confidence of a mediocre white guy" that she's still extremely angry at the world for 'forcing' her to settle.

Perhaps she should look towards the gambling crowd.
Gamble over whether anything physical will transpire.
Gamble over whether the current boyfriend is prone to violence when released...

RE: Online-Girl Hamster Thread
Fits in the Online Girl Hamster Thread due to her publicly declaring her Alpha Fucks Beta Bucks strategy gone right:

https://imgur.com/gallery/Mtoye

Translation: 'Got knocked up by exciting Alpha who won't be cowed into child care payments even by the power of the Orwellian State. I panicked and worked on my look as much as I could. Cutest pics of the lot. '

'Beta in waiting strategy proved valuable, as previously friendzoned blueballed unexciting dweeb suddenly seemed a good catch, since he was caring, considerate, had a stable paycheck and did not mind being pre-emptively cuckolded.'

'Yup - I even managed to convince him of that. Nevermind that Alpha will probably bond with son in the future, since he met him already now. So long as the bills are getting paid I am satisfied .... for now.'

'After reeling the bloke in I could again engage in uglification - shaving my hair and gaining some weight. I am the best pussy he ever got, so I was not concerned about him leaving.'

'I had to slim down and grow out my hair again, because I sensed that he would marry me and adopt another man's child securing child care payments for 20+ years. He actually proposed and I have his balls in a cup on my desk now.'

'Thank God for stupid rationalizations of 'stepping up' that can fool men into shacking up with a single mother, who has made idiotic decisions. Maybe I will divorce him only after 8 years instead of 5. I am young and there is some riding left in this empwered independent woman. Maybe I can upgrade to a geek millionaire.'

RE: Online-Girl Hamster Thread
Got a girl'a number from POF, phoned her and had an amicable chat. Then I sat back and let her chase.

Sunday night she phones and I miss the call, but I texted to ask if it was anything important (a question she took great offence to, as you'll see). We exchange a few texts that night before she tells me she has to go.

Next day I'm blocked.

Being genuinely curious as to why, I gave her a call. On the phone she was angry, defensive, and rotten to the core. I kept my cool, but told her she was obviously "jaded" by the dating scene and should take a break.

Here's the message I receive after:

These women are so used to having men subjugate themselves before their throne, that their brain goes into complete meltdown over something as simple as a man not answering the phone when she calls.

The text is full of stuff I hate: qualification, and droning on about eunich orbiters. But good to know she finds the funny side to death.

That "man" is far more repulsive than the dumb whore he married. Nothing surprising about a single mom acting in her self-interest but that guy proudly waving his cuck banner is hard to watch.

Generous with the praise, isn't she?

The biological father walked out on them, has nothing to do with the kid, and doesn't pay support. The beta boy "mans up" by taking on responsibility for both of them, he is actively raising the boy in place of the absent and disinterested biological father, and ultimately wifes up the mom in place of the other guy.

"He is his father as much as his biological father." Mmm, no. Whatever his flaws and ill-advised choice in involving himself here, he's clearly more of a father than the biological one.

If I were the beta here, I'd be very suspicious after such a comment. I know a guy who similarly white-knighted a single mom who was getting no support from her ex. In his case he married her, adopted the kid as his own - and was promptly divorced and saddled with 12 years of child support.

What an unreal level of entitlement, she's offended that you asked if it was important?! She's basically saying "EVERY PHONE CALL I MAKE IS IMPORTANT HOW DARE YOU!!" What an idiot. Then she segues into more rationalising about her orbiters, sure he's going to a lot of effort to travel and help you sell a car because he's your 'friend', what was that about? Dodged a bullet there. You should have replied with a skeptical face to make fun of her.

At this point, its not even hard to find candidates for this thread just click on PoF and you will be presented with a massive list of crazies. You don't even have to click on their profiles to find out, the crazy eyes and uglification they inflict on themselves give it away.

I noticed that too: the omega retro-actif cuckold who dresses in princess costumes to amuse the alpha's bastard had to 'step up' to be as good as the alpha biological father.

The cuck is going to have a difficult life when the kid reaches his teens.

I have a few to share, I only started saving the more notable ones this week. I have seen some real gems in my area.

From left: 1. I got nothing. 2. Long list of demands for a 39 yo carousel rider 3. Did she fall into a belt sander? 4. She could use a bath with her hair dryer
[attachment=32195][attachment=32196][attachment=32197][attachment=32200]

These 2 are the same girl, great sense of humor in the 2nd percentile that has gotten offended at that opener. I msg back "Red or white grape juice?"
[attachment=32198][attachment=32199]

And finally this fine catch who is "super uber busy" but logs on today at 11:39.

That picture is as sad as the pictures of girls with their parents on dating apps are pathetic.

I never understood either. The first is an admission that you lost and are lost. The second is ... just weird.

Does anyone read that crap except for morbid fascination? A normal person doesn't write more than maybe 3 sentences, and preferably just 3 words or so.
