You know how this is going to play out.

'Surgeries' (like politicians have) propagated by many loud people, shouting their faith from the rafters, demanding that something be done about this or that outrage, in this or that particular country, now, or else. Not all of them Buddhists, either.

They call us racists and xenophobes to even question this appointment. Ho hum. The bomb has already dropped for me as far as London and Muslims go. Probably shouldn't have used all those three keywords in the last sentence, but hey, everyone is a criminal now. Even those that don't 'question' Islam. So might as well have at it.

There is no other demographic that has totally taken over and dominated their environment to the detriment of everyone else, like the muslims have.

Hell, whatever happened to the good old days in Tottenham when the West Indians would fight the Irish? And then have a bloody good piss up afterwards and laugh about it. You can still see them both now, drinking in the Ship on the High road, West Indians on the one side, drinking their Guinness, playing dominoes, Irish on the other, getting pissed, not playing dominoes.

It wasn't a perfect system, but it kind of worked. For many decades. All come to an end now.

The West Indians and the Irish that came over to build our cities and improve our land had a bloody hard time of it: No Irish, No blacks, No dogs! They worked hard, were treated like shit and still got their head down and did not complain. Well, maybe among themselves, but who can blame them?

Then came the Polish starting in the late 90's. Much much better social infrastructure and not as forlorn as the Irish/Blacks. The Polish were the first true economic migrants (if you class it as such) - and they could pretty much go home any time to 'something'.

The Irish, the Blacks very often had absolutely nothing to go back to. They were winging it. Coz they had no other choice.

Polish people never really posed any problems either.

Just before I left, or rather, abandoned an otherwise sinking ship, there was an absolutely massive influx of North African/Arabic people, wearing national dress! Nothing against that. But they wouldn't have been able to do that 20 years earlier. Were they happy for that fact? Were they fuck. Doesn't matter. No room left now. Whites out!

I tried talking and speaking with other cultures, but the Turkish for example just closed ranks and fucked everyone off, in their little impotent gangs they run out of their little impotent hairdressing shops (sorry, Barbers).

If I was King of England, I'd give it to the Irish and the Blacks, just for sheer unadulterated persistence. And what a crack would be had by all. Hard workers. No nonsense nose to the grindstone grafters, to a man. Well, the ones that weren't still in the pub anyway.

That pub won't exist in five years. I'm not sure if that will be because of the fact that alcohol is illegal under Sharia law, or just because everyone in it just lost the will to live and decided to 'go home to die'.

We need more Irish, more Blacks in Tottenham. And less fucking muslims who will bleed us dry without contributing, interfering in our ways of life, and oh yeah, not drinking and playing dominoes in the Ship.

Many were unhappy with the Irish coming. Ditto the Blacks. But we were working it out. Not ideal, granted, but we were making a go of it. Many of the Irish and the Blacks still don't feel at home there. I don't blame them. But it was fun for a while, say what you like about it. There was the chance, that possibly, the multi-culti thing might have worked. And it nearly did. Until it became apparent to everyone that it wasn't going to work and we'd all just best get along for the moment, eh?

Those days are gone. As dubious as they were. What we have now is an oncoming clusterfuck onslaught of over-privileged barbarians from the medieval period (and that is just the British council workers enforcing the laws) and the muslims, be they from Afghan, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria...

They won't be leaving. And they have rights. And they will get them. And we will give them to them.

And the new Muslim Mayor will make sure of that.

The stoking of nationalism didn't have any meaningful foreign sources, it was a natural consequence of it being stifled for 50 years during Communist rule and the Iron Curtain falling down. Nationalism as a force was considerably strengthened in the Soviet Union as well.

That's highly debatable. Ottoman bayonets were the tool that ensured peace from 1500-1800, but as soon as Ottoman power began to fade, uprisings against Muslim rule in the Balkans began in earnest. First and Second Serbian uprisings in the early 19th Century and the Herzegovina uprising of 1875 are good examples of what I'm talking about.

Furthermore, the ethnic map of the Balkans was actually drastically changed in 1878, following massive ethnic cleansing of Muslims after the Ottoman Empire lost the Russo-Ottoman War of 1876-1878. This practice continued in 1912, following the Second Balkan War. In fact, the only reason a sizeable Muslim population exists in Bosnia today is because the great Powers allowed Austria-Hungary to occupy the province (along with the sanjak of Novi Pazar) in 1878 - Vienna had no real interest to expel the Muslims.

Had Bosnia been occupied by Serbia and Montenegro in 1878 for example, local Muslims would have endured the same fate as their brethren in other Ottoman provinces which were occupied and annexed during the wars of 1876-1878 and 1912-1913. So the whole concept of Christians and Muslims coexisting peacefully during Ottoman rule is a myth. Sure there were instances of cordial relations, but they were more like isolated occurrences, rather than the norm.

To be honest, that motto is only popular with the Serbs (it's their rationalization hamster for losing three wars from 1991 to 1995), and with a portion of the disgruntled working class in other ex-Yugoslav countries. Some of them even after 25 years can't accept the reality that socialism is gone and that there is simply no more free shit available in forms of government-built apartments, employment for free etc. Such emotions are understandable from a human standpoint, but they hardly make the renewal of Yugoslavia desired on a massive scale.

Yes, but there is always a but, and in this case it's a rather big one. Yugoslavia only stopped being a Soviet puppet state after Stalin showed Tito the door in 1948 (the myth of our brave Tito showing the middle finger to Stalin is just that - a myth, as actually it was the other way around). Before that, Yugoslavia was the most loyal Soviet satellite state! Stalinism was the name of the game for Yugoslav communists from 1945 to 1948. It was Tito's ruthless power-mongering - see his plans to annex Albania and establish a federal state with Bulgaria, that would have made his star rise too fast for Stalin's taste - and reckless provocations against Western powers that caused him to fall out of favor with Stalin. Only after 1948 did the Yugoslav regime come up with the non-aligned movement, and invent that whole Self-Managing-Socialism shit to distance itself from Moscow. Loans from Western creditors with the purpose of propping Tito's Reich as a poking stick for the Warsaw Pact helped, too.

What Tito did in 1948 is the equivalent of a girl being kicked out from a feminist sorority group for being a general pain in the ass, and then reinventing herself as an independent, free-thinking woman who lives off handouts by wealthy men.

Now that you mentioned it, I remember a funny story I saw in a documentary about the Informbiro period, in which a separate class of political prisoners in Yugoslav prisons was mentioned. They were nicknamed the Koreans. They weren't explicitly pro-Stalin, but rather they all made the mistake of criticizing American involvement in the Korean War in 1950 and supporting Kim Il-Sung's vision of a unified communist Korea. Unfortunately for them, North Korea was a Soviet puppet state, which of course meant they got their asses shipped to Goli Otok faster than you can say 'Korea'.

It seems that politics can really mess up one's life in more ways than we can imagine.
