I ended up creating an ecommerce store, buying from 1 item minimums from wholesale distributors only when I actually sold an item. This model requires no inventory on my end because the companies ship directly to my customers. What I do is process each order, answer customer questions, and market my website. It certainly required a ton of work to get this going, just like any other business.

When I entered university I had 4 months free each summer to do what I wanted. So I traveled in South America each summer for three months, and studied abroad one semester that meant staying in South America for 8 months.

By my sophomore year of university I started a completely new business offering career consulting. I rewrite resumes/CVs and do mock interviews on the phone with clients, etc. This business has really grown considerably with an all time high of 50+ new clients last month. I also do this remotely and have continued running both businesses while abroad and going to university full time.

I graduate university in 25 days with a good deal of money saved up, and am currently making really nice income between the two businesses. I am leaving for good by this February and will spend the majority of my time abroad.

how could i start working in that? I study human resources but they don't teach us how to apply it to real life..

RE: How are you guys making $$$
Main job: Manager for an automotive based business. Maybe once a month I get to do something cool. It's shitty, working for my friend who I now don't like all that much. He's a crappy businessman and I work way too hard for too little pay. I've learned all I'm going to learn there and it's time to move on.

Side job #1: I manage and deal for a different friend's casino events company and one other company (poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps). The pay is not amazing ($20+/hour plus tips), but most of the gigs work with my main gig's schedule and I need the extra money. Sometimes these gigs can pay pretty good if the tips are there or you get paid in cash. Most of the time I get a check for main portion. The tips are pretty inconsistent and it's hard to tell when a gig is going to be good or not. Luckily, you stay busy during most gigs so the time really goes by fast and if the host is nice you get fed (pretty good food most of the time) and my friend's company allows you to have a couple drinks if the host is okay with it or offers.

Side job #2: Computer repair, home office setup, virus/adware removal. If I had enough hours for this gig, I would do it as my main job. It's not something I'd want to do long-term but I can't argue with $50/hour, especially if client's are happy to pay me that rate for stuff that for the most part I can do in my sleep. I need to register a real business and do this above board so I can do some marketing and try to expand the hours I can get. Right now it's 100% from a couple clients in the beach towns that refer their neighbor's/friends to me. It's mostly died down though.

Future side job: I'd like to start using my fold-out full massage table to give massages for cash. It's something I'm good at, but I don't have a license, so it'd have to be for the volleyball community and their friends. If I can get enough beach town clients then it could be pretty lucrative as I imagine they'd pay well for me to come to them. I wouldn't want to do a ton of hours at this, though as it can be hard on your body.

Ultimately I want to work for myself entirely. I used to do online blackjack bonus hustling back before online gambling was made illegal and was making $50+ /hour sitting around at home in my underwear clicking away (it wasn't hard since I had a leg up with a really good database, but you had to be very detail oriented and self-driven).

RE: How are you guys making $$$
I need to focus more upon one thing at a time. I run a garden company, two guys work for me, I just do the quotes and invoicing, plus drive the truck to collect materials etc.

I also do some farm/nature reserve work. Bigger bucks, also much bigger overheads and risk. Not sure where to go on this one, it's a competetive market at the moment. Need to decide as my digger and tracked dumper have been sat at the yard for two months now. Think I might drop it as there's a greater profit percentage in gardening plus I don't have to be there at all. Huh

Recently I tried some push bike repairs- I did that for a year straight out of school, so knew a little bit. Seems to be the most profit of all (£30/hour {~$45), just me and only basic tools/van required) Plus I didn't even break a sweat until I got to testride the customers £3k bike.

Ideas in the pipeline are relief milking cows and a cleaning business employing my Polish garden worker's wives. The cleaning business would tee in nicely with gardens locally.

Relief cow milking is good money at £150/day {~$228}, you do 3-4 hours early morn and afternoon so get the middle of the day off for gym, day game whatever. If you're relief then you do it when you want. I did almost a year when I was 17 travelling around Britain in a van relief milking. Good times in local pubs and local lasses. Banana

They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety- Benjamin Franklin, as if you didn't know...

Richie,
I'm currently in Shenzhen.
Teaching here (for natives with some experience) is 10-16 k RMB/ month full time (8 am-6pm). Decent apartment is around 4 k, eating out and partying will be roughly 4-5 k. So the rest is savings.
No, I don't teach english here, I do some export of IT stuff, but have many foreigner friends teaching.

Nice, how are salaries compared to cost of living there? Can you reasonably save a chunk o' change each month? I know in Thailand for example, it's pretty difficult to do that.

I've heard varying tales about Taiwan -

Any idea how salary and work hours it compare to say:

-Japan
-China
-Korea
-Vietnam
?

Would love to hear.

RE: How are you guys making $$$
I work in IT as an Ops Analyst. It's okay but there is much to be desired.

The pay is comfortable, but it is typical thankless 9-5 corporate slave work. The road to making "a lot" of money in my field is long. The only avenues are to really focus on becoming heavily specialized in something so that once I have enough experience under my belt I could take on an advanced/senior role in something that is very in demand and difficult to replace - Network Architect, Security, MSCE, etc. This also lends itself to contract and even international contract work. The other avenue is getting into IT upper management (CIO/ IT Director) but that is still corporate slave work with higher pay and higher responsibility - and I would likely have to go back to school to get more paper credentials.

My current plan is to work on recording/producing music for a living. I have been recording music for a couple years now as a personal project and have decided to make it into a side-hustle, though I really haven't put a lot of effort and resources into putting it out there. This would allow me to work for myself, have a very flexible schedule making my own hours, and take time off whenever I like.

Until recently, was earning money shooting at terrorists and trolling UN and liberal trash.

At the moment, I am selling on Ebay, doing IT work and translating.

Soon I am planning to grow trees (some Chinese species) that grows fast, requires minimal investing and sells for YUGE amounts of money. If it survives 8 years.

If I sell one, that is quite some Fuck You money.

After I graduate, I will find some decent job, of course.

In addition to my full-time gig, I recently started a business with one of my friends involving the resale of protein powder. The fitness and health industry is one giant circle jerk, so it's a simple market to sell to.

RE: How are you guys making $$$
Once I found the Red Pill, I begin reading non-stop every single day, often times the same material over and over again.
Mostly Victor Pride's writings and a lot of Chris Deoudes stuff as well.

I carved out my own technique to help me earn money, network and build strong business relationships.

The secret?

My Wife thinks I'm insane, but I spent and still spend about 5 to 6 hours a day networking on Craigslist.

Going all out obsessed with this method, I now have Equity in 4 different companies and Equity pending in 1 more.
I have not spent a single dime for my Equity.
Of the 4 companies I have Equity in, 1 is a Start-up Pre-Revenue, 2 are beginning to Earn Revenue and 1 is a 50+ year old company doing fantastic.
My Pending Equity deal is another established (since 1993) company.

Also, I am a remote Sales Manager for 3 other companies.

All these revenue streams I have in the works (7 pending to be 8)
I have landed through Craigslist.

My method is the Joe Girard method.
If you don't know who Joe Girard is (The Great Salesman that Ever Lived!) goto http://www.joegirard.com/ or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Girard

The man is so brilliant and motivating.
He taught me that
1) Customer Service
2) Word of Mouth through what he called "Bird dogging" otherwise known today as "Affiliate Marketing"
3) Compliment people constantly
*4) Put in effort to appear to be a Geniune Friend

*This doesn't require you actually be Geniune, make a schedule on an Excel sheet if you have to.
Routinely call the people you need every 3 weeks (Joe Girard's preferred amount of time between conversations), send them Thank you Cards in the mail, let them know you appreciate them, spend a couple bucks on them by sending them gifts, etc...

Most importantly is Victor Pride and Chris Deoudes # 1 rule: Be Obsessed.

Without pure obsession, you'll probably end up either mediocre or giving up before the finish line.

RE: How are you guys making $$$
I'm a pilot in Europe, which is honestly one of the coolest jobs in the world. It's hard as hell to get into because of the high tuition fees and the need to ace all exams in order to be even considered for a job, but once you get employed it's absolutely amazing. The working pattern is usually something like 5 days of work, 3 days off. Vacation comes on top of that.

Ideally, I would like to set up an alternate income stream. It doesn't have to be completely passive, but it would obviously have to come second to the flying job. I've been looking at internet marketing, but there's a whole lot of bullshit to sift through when you start learning. I have some background in programming, but I've never done sales, so that's where I struggle.

Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.

That, my friends, is the key. It will help you push through the downs and will keep you motivated to push further and further. Translate this knowledge to anything we do in which we want to be successful.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."

Curious how you make money if you are the customer of the loans. Do you package and resell them?
