But that's not what this is about. Right now the draft is sexist. Right now the draft only drafts young men. Women are excluded."

Agreed with Duncan Hunter. I am not supportive of chicks in the military, but this is their own doing.

When chicks are in the military they claim "military sexual trauma" after getting out and are fed off the gov teat for the rest of their lives in the form of medical care and service connection "disability $$$" and yet many will admit that they loved being FOB (forward operating base) hot while they were in the military even if they were duds in the civilian world. Fast forward 5 years after their time in the military and they will claim that they were systematically raped. Yet, while in the military they loved getting laid so much. Then the tax payers get bilked.

Same happens with gay guys nowadays in the military. they have tried to become little secret cocksuckers to drunk/lonely dudes in the military but then claim they were raped by straight men. Really? they we are giving them payment for the rest of their lives.

real rape is extremely rare for women and even more so for men unless you are talking prison. having chicks in the military is just another way that the culmination of an SJW philosophy is going to bankrupt the country.

If it does pass I don't see how it is a positive net-gain for the US, or any western power to have their women drafted into a major war effort.

Lets be honest here guys, women are the spoils of war for more than just a thing to fuck and have your way with once you slaughter their men and enslave their cities.

A country can afford to lose hundreds of thousands of men but can you say the same for a woman who can give birth to the next generation who will rebuild the country and fight for it down the line?

Practically this has no value... but i think this is a great symbolic victory if it does indeed passes. I will be listening for are the arguments people use for why in this equal society women don't have to register for the draft...

This makes sense since women are allowed to vote. Skin in the game, if only nominally.

If a draft actually happened, with large scale deployments and all that, this would be horrible, both for the clueless and frightened average woman and the poor sap that is forced to put up fighting 'beside' her.

I heard almost all the Democrats voted yes and about 6 Republicans did also. Hunter passed it as a way to point out Democrat stupidity but they took the bait and claimed that it is infact sexist and they want them to join. He was making a point about how you only have a draft when you need bodies since the fit able men were all killed. There response would be to send a bunch of 18 year old girls to fight a battle men were losing. He is against the bill but Democrats thought they could rub it in his face by showing how progressive they are. Of course most of the Democrats who voted yes are nu-males and dykes who will never go to war or have children which is probably why they were so willing to do so.

I highly doubt this will become law. Feminists and LGBT will twist logic and demand equality when it serves their goals. When it comes to responsibility and duties their response is:

" Ain't nobody got time for that".

I find it interesting that Rep. Hunter has actually served in the Marines and as a subject matter expert can actually propose an amendment like this without being called a hypocrite, chickenhawk or out of touch with military reality unlike most politicians.

I think it's fine, I favor meritocracy anyway.

I think pushing the notion "too hard" that "men and women are different" leads toward a hyper-chivalrous white knight psychology in which women are automatically viewed as weak, defenseless creatures simply by the virtue of their genitals. These are the type of guys would would let themselves be beaten to a pulp by a 300 lb lesbian bodybuilder but refuse to defend themselves because "mom told me never to hit girls!"

In a normal meritocracy the vast majority of combat soldiers will naturally be men anyway since natural differences will take their course; some on the left of course will want to "make" the results equal based on the false idea that there are "no" differences between men and women, such as lowering the fitness standards just to get more female recruits.
