What pre paid SIM card for the USA?
Hi,

As of 2016, what are my best options for getting a SIM card with the following specs:

1. Should be working for at least 1 month. Should be pre paid, no payment plans, no personal data, addresses etc.
2. Should include both phone and mobile broadband data. Price should vary depending on minutes and GB data.
3. I will bring my own european unlocked phone - I just need to put a SIM card into the slot. And it should work right away.
4. Should have good coverage in rural areas.
5. Should be easy to obtain at international airports or not too far away from metro stations etc. Buying a SIM card on Ebay or similar websites would also be an option.

T Mobile is good for this. They have shops nationwide and are also sold all over at third party stores.

I agree with Cameltoe.... I just came back from the US and they had the exact deal you were describing.

I am a Canadian who has done travel in the states. I find T-Mobile is sketchy in rural areas and between cities. It's great inside a city. I have a $3/day unlimited data/calls (high speed up to 250MB, this plan was discontinued).

Recently I activated GO Phone by AT&T. I found they had better rural coverage than T-Mobile hands down. Their plans are not horrible either considering you're just there a month.
