If a republican gets elected and defunds the department of education and EPA the HUFFPO and BUZZFEED will have to either declare bankruptcy or fire most of their staff.


They have been riding the left wing train for years through government subsidized "education" programs. Billions dollars worth of feminist propaganda, multicultural federal programs and other left wing agendas. Most of this comes from the department of education where there are thousands of jobs who's purpose is to promote these issues. The media outlets were simply relying on this free marketing. Their articles were being shared by thousands of government workers and tax evasion schemes(NGO's), in the last for years the number of people doubled as more programs were added. Once the source is cut off, you will see the biggest media dive in history. Some outlets will just turn(CNN) others will die(HUFFPO).

I woke up with an insight along these lines, regarding a personal situation which I can't describe in detail, but it applies here as well.

This destruction is precisely what they were demanding. These people live by lies and foulness, they worship themselves, and they'll go to the same place as the first spirit who decided that he was above creation.

I think you should consider the spirit of the rules, rather than interpreting them in a precise legalistic way.

I hope that, like Twinkies, Lifehacker and Gizmodo survive somehow. I actually occasionally read both those sites, and they post quite a bit of useful information with minimal fluff.

The good writers will be hired anywhere. I'd rather see all Gawker properties burned down and hopefully no one tries to buy it. The social justice was creeping in to a lot of those sites. Gizmodo/Lifehacker would publish the usual hitpieces against Gamergate and the women are being oppressed in STEM garbage.

Screw Gizmodo. I got into a massive flame fest with one of their writers way back in 2005 over some reporting on Linux stuff. I don't remember what the argument was but it ended up having a bunch of folks (myself included) riping the author of the article a new one. I stopped reading after that.

I never found anything useful on Lifehacker, but that may be the one gem in the turd basket for the right kind of person.

The real question is: will we see the death of Jezebel if Hulk Hogan takes over the domain names as part of their compensation?

Vice is a perfect example of what happens when SJW's take over.

Back in the day, that channel (or rather, Youtube channel) was awesome...they were talking about many issues that MSM choose to ignore.

But...when a SJW company took over (I think it was Disney)...they went downhill. All the new documentaries are unwatchable, SJW crap became the norm, and so on.

SJW's need to understand that the vast majority of the people, whether in the US, Europe...are still sane...relatively speaking. Their voices, which were ignored for way too long are getting louder each day.

Look at Trump.

Look at LePen.

Look at the success of Sweden Democrats.

Remember Gamergate (laugh as much as you want, but for the SJWs, this was their Staljingrad - the beginning of the end).

SJW's are a formidable opponent, that is true. But being formidable does not make you invincible. They can take over as much news outlets as they want (such as Vice) and ruin many games that we held dear (Baldur's gate)...but they will never silence us.

The only thing that makes SJWs a threat is their government backing. Without Big Daddy Government endorsing their twisted world view they would return to the shadows they belong in. Twisted, weak, degenerate scum who only attack in packs. I suppose the more rope they are fed the quicker they'll hang themselves. Removing any boundaries regarding gender, sexuality, trans-whatever will inevitably result in collapse as they seek to gain status within increasingly smaller groups specialising in whatever freakish bullshit they think up next.
