Appreciate you reading my post. I now see it was a tad too long.

Sour grapes refers to putting something down because you cant have it. With that strict definition or meaning, the sour grape factor I feel with Bangkok women is 0%. If I've ever had the potential for sour grapes, it was when I spent 6 nights in Moscow and saw magnificently looking women but ended up with one single high 6. Don't know what happened there. Having said that, I wouldn't even concede that I have sour grapes from my Moscow experience.

On the point of 8s and 9s, you may have misinterpreted my post. I never said I was a banger of 8s and 9s in that post, nor alluded to it. It's other posters talking about their 8s and 9s bangs in Bangkok who I call out as liars.

Having spent time in Asia but more in Europe and the USA, I definitely know what an 8 looks like and I do know what a 9 looks like. My ranking scale comes from hundreds of days of collective travelling around the world.

I have banged a very small number of true 8s. And I do mean true 8s. Im early 30s. Ive been trying to score since I was 16. Anyone putting in any effort to their appearance and approaching will have landed an odd 8 by the time they hit 30. Without attempting to sound purposefully self effacing however, I probably should have had a few more, but I now know my game was average for many years. I wouldn't ever say I've banged a true 9.

As a point of reference, because it was missing in my original post, Urassaya Sperbund is not a 9. De-photoshop her and think about what you're really getting, then compare her face and body to true 9s - some of the best looking girls the world has to offer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has different tastes. You may not like Thai girls and that's fine, I've had friends who came here and thought they were the best girls in the world, while others said they were too slim and slender for their liking and just didn't do it for them.

The first pics represent selective bias because theyre magazine quality. Anyone buying that photoshopping should look at the pics I posted. That was the entire point.

If you think you got 8s...good for you. I didn't see them. I know what I saw. In 9 weeks you see a lot of Thai women. If you saw them and got them, I was looking in the wrong places.

My original post was a legitimate attempt to get people to re-think their travel plans because this thread created the very strong impression that you can fly in to Bangkok and slam 7s without trying, 8s with some game and stunning 9s when you hang around for a while and move in certain social circles. Go back and read the posts. Ive read dozens word for word and skimmed many more. It took me three hours. I don't buy what people are selling here and I feel strongly enough about it to have posted what I did.

It's easier writing positive and not negative posts - I get that - and as such expected a lot of backlash from my original post, which I haven't as yet received, thankfully. I appreciate the restraint you and CodyB have shown as opposed to calling me every name under the sun.

The only thing left to say is that if you think you're a good looking Aussie who likes Asians and doesn't mind mass approaching, you're better off flying to San Fran and hitting up what you can there. For some reason as I have stated in other threads, the accent goes down a treat.

I think that Thai girls look best in SEA, in my opinion at least. Didn't go to Cambodia and Indonesia yet though.

I've been to San Francisco many times, and was just there last week in fact. To say that an Australian guy should go to San Francisco over Bangkok, if he is looking solely for women, is just bad advice. The girls in Bangkok are just as attractive and more abundant, than the ones in San Francisco. The difference is that they are way easier, and the city is 100x cheaper. Satoshi, did you go in with high expectations? The first city I visited was Hanoi and I thought the talent was good, better than Saigon I thought, but there are other problems with gaming in Hanoi. Been to Hanoi twice and HCMC twice along with several smaller ciites in the north and south. I like both Thai and Viet girls, actually I like all beautiful and feminine girls irrespective of ethnicity. The one thing I will say about the Vietnamese (women and men) is that they are a little too clever, but overall one of my favourite countries to visit in the region. If you have time, check out as many countries in the region as you can, they are all worthwhile and try to get off the beaten track if you can.

In depends what you want though. If you want prettier faces and body isn't as important, Japan is better. If you want more beautiful bodies and face isn't as important, Thailand is better. Everywhere has its differences. The only way you get both is to get into the top tier -- the pretty Japanese girls who also have good bodies, or the shapely Thai girls who also have pretty faces.

I've often pondered why the differences seem so pronounced. Why so many Japanese girls have such stunted legs, why so many mainland Chinese are ugly etc. Or like Roosh mentioned: why so many Polish are 'butterface' versus the pretty (but less otherwise endowed) Ukrainians. My theory is that because maintaining beauty (displays of genetic fitness) is expensive for a population (it shifts reproductive & resource burden towards a smaller number of people), populations tend to focus on certain types of beauty more than others -- something that is imbued both into their selection instincts and their culture. There is only so much "selection energy" available to any population, so they tend to specialize somewhat. Racial formation (i.e. why I can spot Viet vs Chinese vs Japanese vs Thai, 8 or 9 times in 10) is probably a side-effect of this.

On the 'Koreans were the best looking': that's because they put an insane amount of work into their faces looking nice. Next time pay more attention to detail: from the side you'll see their skin change from shiny white to yellow at the makeup boundary; they'll often have 'unnaturalness' in the face that indicates plastic surgery; every single feature on their face will be highly cosmetically painted or affixed in some way. Wake up next to one of them with no makeup and you'll probably have similar sentiment you mentioned about the Thai girl.

Considering your note on 'Asians' over the Thai-centric issue, I will explain further why I disagree with your suggestion.

In my experience if you took a random sample of 100 other Asians say Koreans who are living or staying in say Australia, and took 100 Koreans raised and living in Korea... it would be easier to approach and bang those in Australia, especially compared to your experience being in Korea without fluency in Korean. However, the quality of those in Australia is significantly LOWER.

(Caveat: there are significant differences in this home-vs-away ratio of success based on nationality, so generalizing across Asian countries is of limited utility here).

High status hot girls in Asia don't need to travel or meet foreigners to enjoy the lifestyle of an attractive woman - they already get that locally. Indeed in Japan they may even describe those staying overseas, who are older and/or searching for Western men, as Make-inu or "losers" [ref 1].

In Australia and much of the West, the local girls are so fat that these Make-inu pass for attractive and get attention from solid blokes whose primary alternative consists of fat, selfish, masculine white chicks *shudder*. Based on my own observations and discussions with Asians, if you contrast their experiences within their home country they generally report that they're treated as higher value overseas. They get (a) approached by more guys and (b) have higher self-perceived value because of it. Plenty of Asian 7s act like 9s in the West. It's the Charisma Woman effect -- the Reverse Charisma Man.

There is a high level of competition for the best looking women in every city in the world, and most westerners don't have a lot of success with top-tier women in Bangkok, but I'd still prefer to give members here the benefit of the doubt.

Didn't like Chiang Mai, women from the street couldn't understand me at all, so I tried to game the Chinese chicks and they are worse than the western women. Bars are full of stinky backpackers and working ladies.
Right now I'm down south and except the backpackers can't game anyone because of the language barrier.
Have only 2 weeks left, any ideas how to make this trip worse? Bangkok was the best place for game but I felt like it's mostly working ladies.

Yes, Northern Thailand girls does it for me too. I do think if the Central Thai look does it for you, then Southern China is a much easier and abundant place to fish. The pedestalizing of light skin chinese looking girls in Thailand is off the charts. Dime a dozen in Southern China and Taiwan.

I've lived in BKK for several years and yes truelly knockout girls are rare to find if you hang out around Sukhumvit, Silom and RCA. However they are out their particularly once you know where to find them.

Either way grading 6,7,8,9 whatever is retarded, it's entirely subjective, chemistry goes a long way. As I think Cody said for me the harsh Russian ice queen look does absolutely nothing for me, the average fashion model just looks like they need a good meal, one mans trash etc.

It's a recurring theme on SEA threads where a guy will come in and compare Thais/Filipinas to East Asians. This new poster could have presented his arguments a bit better, but I'm in agreement with some of his points. My results have been pretty solid here, but I have pulled hotter talent in other Asian countries.

A few points after 6 months here:

1. Thai girls can be cute, but overall they aren't the best facially. A good body is a given for Asian girls so I don't place too much emphasis on that. Sexy Thai girls are everywhere, but a truly beautiful one is rare.

2. If you're into lighter shades of Asian then I also feel like there are better places to be than Bangkok. The minority of white-skinned Thai girls are fetishized beyond belief here, but most seem to have little interest in farang.

An interesting contrast: The other day I was in a certain tourist resort in Thailand where literally 1,000s of country bumpkins from China were visiting. Some of the Chinese girls in the tour group were giggling, pointing and even waving at us. I pointed out the irony of this to the other RVF member who was with me. White-skinned girls are considered "special" in Bangkok and yet there are literally 100,000s visiting here at any given time! This suggests that if your primary goal was to bang white-skinned Asians then China or other East Asian countries might be a better bet than Bangkok. Others have suggested Chiang Mai and other northern cities.

3. Finally, my biggest grouch with Bangkok girls is their personality. Too flighty, too much drama and high maintenance. Not particularly domestic or caring. There are certainly some very notable exceptions (I've actually managed to find one) but overall the LTR types are in scarce supply. I could overlook the appearance stuff if it wasn't for this aspect of the girls. It's as if they learn how to date by watching retarded TV dramas.

Any location is going to have pros and cons. Guys just have to decide which things they are willing to compromise on. Bangkok is a great city in many ways. I'm certainly not here because of girls as my primary motive. There are probably better places for that. The easy lifestyle, fun nightlife, amazing food, great expat community and cheap accomodation are all bigger factors that have drawn me to this city.
