This is basically the opposite of the High Status Men With Ugly Wives or GFs thread.

I see it happening so much today. Chubby/skinny, ugly, glasses-wearing hipsters getting with solid 8's and 9's. I feel that the legitimate reasons for this phenomenon include:

• There are far more betas today than years ago (obviously), and it's growing at a fast and irreversible rate.
• The ratio of men who want to settle to women who want to settle is off, tipped in favor of men. (While the opposite applies to men and women who want to casually go out / bang.) Hell we just had a thread a week ago about a woman who killed herself because she couldn't find a decent guy to settle with. So some attractive women are forced to settle for less quality than they are due to fewer options.
• Most alphas aren't looking to settle.
  

My prediction is that because of this, in the next few years we'll either see a lot of these attractive women letting themselves go quickly, or cuckolding will skyrocket.

Anyway, post pictures, videos, TV shows/movies, real stories, etc. of beta/cuckold/feminine men being settled on via a sad process of elimination by carousel survivors / good girls, and take a stab at the psychology behind this phenomenon.

Know when to neg and when to nurture when looking for an ltr or a wife. I think this is missed.

A good balance of both is required before a girl realizes that the alpha isn't just good material for her children, but is a man who wants to raise a strong family that is ready to conquer.

Attractive women will line up for alphas who are ready to settle, but then again, there aren't alot of alphas willing to settle, so we don't see it much.

I've just resigned myself to the fact that it's pure luck that they were in the same place at the same time and girls aren't very good at hypergamy, so they go with the easy/comfortable option. Similar to Aussie guys.

Some great points here. One thing I would add is that there seems to be a direct correlation between the rise of the beta and the rise of the "empowered" woman. This makes sense for a number of reasons. More women entering positions of power leads to fewer men in those positions in terms of simple mathematics, and also because it leads to a feminized indoctrination of men to be weak and of women to prefer weak men.

So we have women--in their conscious mind, due to social conditioning--seeking out beta partners, but in their unconscious minds still craving the alpha. So the beta-hot girl partnership makes perfect sense, and in a way works out to everyone's advantage.

The beta can be used however the hot girl sees fit, then if she wants to cheat on him, leave him, humiliate him, etc., there is nothing standing in her way.

Just because a woman "looks good" doesn't automatically make her worthy of an alpha anyway.

The number of women who look somewhat good but are foul-mouthed, bossy, and undesirable except as 1 night stand material is suprisingly high.

1) Started dating early in life like in HS or early during college before the girl got a taste of Alpha D. Then they sort of just kept dating. No reason to break up. Most of these types are more like best friends than lovers.

Just my personal observation, but guys who are musicians or into some type of "artsy" profession tend to be the best 'ladies men' in general even when they don't come across as manly at a glace.

Prince is a great example - 5'1'', 95 lbs, dresses like a fag, but still manages to score tons of poon

Life isn't about getting women, life is about becoming a masculine man. Once you are a masculine man, the women try to get you.

If you see a beta in a "relationship" with some true 8/9/10, and none of those pictured above are above a 6 to me, then you know a few things are true...

#1) She is still looking for the bigger better deal and for the time being just settled for a some stability and is probably getting bored.

This is why so many guys struggle attracting or understanding women. They are stuck in this "Alpha/Beta" nonsense.

Simply being able to make a woman laugh is hugely attractive to them.

This one is a bit misleading. I've seen that in a thread here earlier. He didn't look like that when he married her - he might have had a certain feminine vibe at the time, but the dude was pretty ripped.
