Your buddy Hank is currently dating a stripper who dances at a high end club. Definitely a solid 8.5, if you're into more petite girls. I actually met her in the club, and it's evolved (devolved?) into yet another mini LTR. I have some random musings about strippers and strip club game. Take it for what it's worth...

1. Strip clubs are actually good for developing game.

Strippers are excellent at small talk and will get your confidence boosted. If you're the type of guy who gets nervous every time you interact with a 5, strip clubs are a great way to get acclimated to talking to hotter chicks. They are masters at small talk. Your game will significantly improve as girls who are only somewhat attractive ask you for dances and you say "sorry hun, not interested."

2. Strippers can extract a lot of cash from unsuspecting betas without a lot in return. If she only wants to see you at the club, this is a waste of your time.

You take a girl into the back, maybe the champaign room. You're a player in development so you ask her for digits. Surprisingly, she complies. Suddenly you find yourself getting texts like "I'm working today, you should come visit!" or something. You go in, she gives you a dance, you chat, but she won't meet you for coffee. Bro, she's using you. Strippers have their "regulars" who they don't bang. If she won't see you outside the club, she's wasting your time.

3. Strippers are actually regular chicks, although they happen to have substantial experience with men.

You know how you game a stripper? Just like you would a school teacher, nurse, or chick who works in HR. The same game you use on a girl who you met on OkCupid works on strippers. At the end of the day they're just regular girls.

That said, strippers are exposed to men willing to pay for their time on a daily basis. Old men, young men, construction works - they are literally inundated with dick all day. And their job is to extract cold, hard cash from them. Oh, and strippers also recognize the relationship between money and sex.

4. On that note, just throwing a bunch of cash at stripper will not get you laid. It will probably do the opposite.

She wants you to buy her a drink? Some dances? Perhaps the champaign room to have a more "intimate conversation?" Nah. Don't throw cash at her thinking it will eventually get you laid. You'll end up broke and horny. Test the water - if she won't let you make out with her or do other shit practically from the get go, she's probably not attracted to you and you're dead in the water. To quote the Rational Male, desire cannot be negotiated.

If your goal is to take a chick home from the club, try and escalate ASAP. If you're rejected, it's most likely a no go.

5. If you go to strip clubs, always try and get digits.

Again, strippers are regular girls. You'll usually get digits if you ask, but I'd say about 75% of the time it will just be a chick with a burner phone trying to get you to become her regular. But, 25% of the time, if you're attractive and interesting, you'll actually be able to pull the chick.

Closing thoughts

Strip clubs are not a good place to meet a girlfriend. However, they're a solid place to develop your game and become comfortable being around hot women. Don't throw too much cash around in a strip club, as strippers are experts at extracting money from the unsuspecting, without giving up anything in return. Remain skeptical.

It's entirely possible to pull strippers from the club, provided your game is strong. Just run standard game, don't throw around cash, and make sure you don't get used.

That said, your time is generally better invested elsewhere. Strip clubs are fun places to conduct business or to get comfortable being around hot chicks. With solid game, however, they're a decent place to go where you're guaranteed to be around hot women - many of whom will demolish the unsuspecting beta. ("OMG! She showed me her tits! And let me touch them! I think she is into me like for real dude!")

Interestingly, strippers deal with pathetic betas and omegas so frequently that they're not really used to dealing with alphas who don't return their text messages, phone calls, or feel like hanging out. There are guys willing to pay them for conversation. Yet you can barely be bothered to return a text message. It's like crack to them.

Strippers make okay girlfriends. Dating a stripper will significantly improve your social circle game, as you'll meet a lot of other strippers and hot service industry chicks. It will also increase your social status as a dude who dates strippers. However, dabble with them at your own risk.

There is common strip club game advice that can sometimes go like this:

1) Don't buy dances ever. Only buy yourself drinks and maybe her one if the conversation is going well. Maybe tip the main stage a bit for fun just so the staff sees you spending money. Become a regular that is not seen someone coming for the sexual fantasy, but to socialize and relax.

2) Conversation: Better to get it non-sexual at first, try to get personal information. What does she like to do after work? Pets? Music tastes etc... do not let the environment suck you into the sexual side unless she gets overly sexual and initmate first (past normal stripped practice) or she gets very comfortable to the point you sense it is normal flirting and not her selling.

These seem to be the most contentious points. How much money to spend on the girls you like and how fast you escalate.

The biggest tip I would say from personal experience is bring business cards or your number on a small piece of paper like a gum wrapper so you can slip it to them. Often times strippers are watched closely by staff to not be giving out their numbers especially in the main room. It is a pain for them to go dig up a pen and gum wrapper from the dressing room.

Eh... I'm okay with buying dances. Not 10, but one or maybe two. That's the only place where you can be a bit more private and try to escalate the physical encounter. It's a $20 investment. Plus, a back room is the only place you can exchange numbers. Tell her to send you a text and you'll respond with your number.

I do agree with making actual conversation - ask about her goals, her school, what she's up to, etc. That builds comfort. Never start a conversation sexually, because she's already naked and this is a sexual venue. Strippers get so much sex talk per second from every other dude in the club. "Hey nice boobs! Almost same exact same scenario on my end.

I went into the club and bought my staff a few dances. I sat at the bar and drank by myself. One of the strippers approached me and started to make small talk. I told her I was there to let my employees have some fun and blow off steam. I'm not interested in drinks or dances. If you want to chat about real shit, cool.

Pulled digits like I would any other chick at the bar, and ran standard game. She actually hit me up after.

I was pretty sporadic about responding to text messages and seemed kind of "meh" about the whole thing. This sent the hamster wheel into overdrive. She hit me up a bunch of times, then eventually it lead to bangs.

It depends on the club. At Tabares, Foxy's, and Las Chicas in Acapulco, I can get pretty much any girl there's number anytime anywhere in the club and the management couldn't care less. Hell, the management and employees of those places have actually given me girls' numbers more times than I can count. Pretty much the same in Miami strip clubs. In Las Vegas strip clubs, it's much easier to get numbers from girls who are Las Vegas locals than from the other girls. As far as getting numbers, Hustler is the easiest, then Sapphire, then Spearmint Rhino. Don't even bother with the rest.

I have done pretty well over the years in strip clubs.

At the very least I've always have been able to at least get a phone number.

Few points that it make it easier:

Go on a weekday night, weekends are when the hustlers come out.

Go to a club with quantity if you can.

Do not buy them drinks, wait at least 10 minutes or at least in a decent conversation.

The more you go more recognizable you become and more comfortable the girls get with you. I recommend finding a few girls and see them every time you go to the club and build rapport.

To be really good at strip club game, unfortunately boils down to physical attraction, and wealth.

Wealth will get you in the door but looks is definitely what will get the close. If you have both you will be unstoppable and at that point why even bother with strip clubs, the girls will find you.

Strippers are a double edge sword.

They like men and enjoy men company, but they understand manipulation, leading men on, getting me to pay, and getting men to do favors. With that being said, it can be a thin line for newbs. It is not for the faint of heart. You are swimming in a shark tank.

But strippers do love going on dates and being treated like a girlfriend, but don't fall into that trap, its an illusion. But you can bang them. Just be careful you are dealing with sharks.

FWIW, if you're new to game, I do recommend hanging out in strip clubs, wth the goal of meeting and even banging strippers (just don't go broke in the process).

This is the thing - most new guys get nervous around 5s and 6s they met on OkCupid. I used to.

Part of upping your game involves upping your standards. Eventually all the girls you hang out with and bang should be 7.5 - 8s at minimum. You do not want to be seen around town with fat girls. That lowers your social status. You want to be seen around town with hot chicks, which will raise your status.

My game went from banging average looking chicks from OkCupid to having several social circles of all hot chicks. Part of this was strip club game - becoming friends with strippers, bartenders, waitresses, etc.

Once you have a few strippers who you hang out with (or preferably bang), your status and your standards go way up. Suddenly talking to a 6 on OkCupid becomes a total waste of time, because yours is spent chasing after way hotter girls. You're also used to being around hot girls.

Caveat 1: feminists, fat chicks, and the wives of your married friends will all hate you. I don't mean dislike you, I mean they will hate you with every bone in their body. I lost more friends last year due to my lifestyle than I like to admit. When you're constantly seen with hot women, people will grow to resent you.

Caveat 2: do not think for a second you can tie down a stripper into a bona fide LTR. I mean, it happens, but proceed with caution. They're good to keep in the rotation and keep stuff casual. If some White Knight wants to scoop them up for wife purposes, God bless him. Normal game rules apply - if you feel like taking a trip and want some company, by all means bring her along. But don't do a bunch of exotic stuff for her - there are plenty of other dudes willing to throw away their hard earned cash on vacations, jewelry, etc. Tread cautiously. This applies to all hot women, although strippers tend to be a different breed.

I dated a stripper for over a year and learned a lot about these girls and the scene in general.

They are not "regular girls." Regular girls don't show their pussies to strange men for money. They are in the sex work industry. Regardless the sentiment is true that you can game them just the same, and they are fun for sure. In some aspects they are easier to game because they are mostly just insecure damaged girls who will often cling to any semblance of stability and normalcy before they ultimate destroy it with their poor habits and choices.

I like the idea of using strip clubs as a way to build up confidence and desensitize yourself getting used to talking to attractive women.

That's been my go to move all along. The drama and craziness of strippers is too much for me to stomach. I would never want any of them knowing where I live. Has anyone been to the Sapphire Pool and Dayclub? Basically it's a pool party during the day at a major strip club. There's nobody bothering you for lap dances and the girls who work there are just kind of there to have a good time. It might be a good idea to meet girls at night at the club, ask them if they will be at the pool the next day, then they will already know you when you get to the pool. Can any of you more experienced folks help me with a mental block I get in strip clubs regarding smalltalk?

I generally avoid them, but occasionally agree to get happy hour drinks with business contacts at a local club (NYC here). When I'm not in a mood for dancing/sexual attention, I find it much harder to smalltalk with these hustlers. Especially the savvy "indirect" ones who aren't as easy to "no thanks hun!" I'd prefer not to deal with them at all.

When it's early and I'm sober, I get locked into the following kind of attitude:
- "I'm too good for this place -- I lay/date girls just as hot as this who don't want money from me"
- "Yeah, okay, that one's hot, but so what."
- "No thanks, hun!" -- zero dances desired, on principle of not paying for attention.
- [Zero erections -- probably as a result of the above.]

My uptight holier-than-thou attitude is blocking me from just enjoying drinks and guy-convo at the club. I'm not trying to befriend or fuck these girls. In fact, I wouldn't even mind making smalltalk but it feels So Fake to me when I'm feeling as described.

It kills my vibe to devote a whole minute or two each time a stripper comes over with that innocent smalltalk. Sometimes I'm like -- "hey, I admire your hustle -- those guys over there look thirsty, holler at them!" I don't have a problem batting away the ones who come direct; it's the savvy indirect ones that drain my time and attention.

The question is essentially: how do you reconcile making smalltalk with someone who really does not give a damn about you?

Another factor is that the men who have asked me to go are extremely supplicating, giving sexual compliments to the girls, etc. I'd prefer to talk about business over drinks!

I guess in retrospect it's a factor of mis-matched expectations between me and those I went with, in addition to my own "I don't really want to be here" attitude. It's a shame these folks wouldn't prefer to go to a real happy hour where, IMO, more available and interesting women abound.\

If it is such a headache for you, then skip strip clubs all together and meet your friends for a drink at a normal bar.

Your attitude will change if you accept the fact that most of these girls are Hustlers and they are working.

I wouldn't put too much thought into them or their tactics. As previously mentioned, these girl are damaged goods. It isn't worth the energy trying to analyze their intentions or figure them out.

You don't have to engage in smalltalk. Be more direct with them. "I am just here for a drink with my friends. I will come find you later if I want a dance, but right now I don't."

456, Are these business contacts not from NYC? There's a good chance they hardly ever (or even never) go to a strip club where they live, and they see going there as one of the highlights of the trip. Either way, your aim should be to make sure they are having a good time.

I used to feel the same way. Here is the thing...

1. You need to have an open mind, and believe that these girls could actually be into you. Yes, you can actually pick up the girls at the club. Yes, you can actually become friends with these girls outside the club. It's not all that hard.

2. Use it to practice your small talk, kino, or whatever, which you can use on regular women. This is a great video on small talk:

If your small talk feels fake with strippers, it probably also feels fake with girls whose time you're not (directly) paying for. Small talk should come naturally.

I developed a significant amount of game in strip clubs just by getting comfortable making small talk with hot women, and later practicing my crazier shit on them.

"Do you want a dance?"
"Sure. If we get to make out back there."
"That's against house rules..."
"I know."

Strip clubs are basically game in free play mode. It's great because you can't really fuck anything up. You can literally say almost anything you want to and push the interaction as far as she'll allow. You can engage in small talk all night, try and get digits, or physically try and escalate. Provided you use common sense (you're better off bringing a stripper home than trying to get favors in the champaign room), the worst thing that can happen is she'll go hang out with someone else. In which case, you're on to the next one or you go somewhere else.

3. Most importantly - have fun with it. You can have some really wild conversations with strippers. "What's the craziest thing that's ever happened in this cub?" "What's the weirdest thing a guy has ever tried to do here?" Get them talking about the weird patrons, the girls who moonlight as hookers, etc. Get them to tell you fun stories.

I used to hate strip clubs because I would go in with the mindset that I'm just a schlub these women want to manipulate into giving money. I'd sit in a corner and be like "go away." Now I go in with the view that (a) my game is solid enough to pick up several of these women; and (b) I'm going to enjoy myself and have some crazy conversations with hot chicks, who I might ultimately become friends with or bang.

These particular guys are NYC-bred, second-generation Koreans. They love to drink, yet seemingly only flirt with civilian Asian girls when on their own turf, i.e. a K-Town nightclub. Outside of that, they only want the strip club even for two drinks.

I'm white but mix in many groups, most of whom aren't really into the strip clubs.

I've actually had a better time at some of the "hood" strip clubs with Latino friends -- out in Queens or in the BX, they are actually friends with many of the waitresses, have had the dancers in their various music videos, etc., like a much more organic way of interacting with these girls. My friends have kind of a "pimp / buddy" vibe where it's never about cash, never supplicating, and mostly fun / shoot-the-shit style.

These Korean guys, not even old, have a much more "worship" frame, so that plus the early hour really put me off.

I think next time I will INSIST we go to a normal bar if it's pre-midnight and it's under the guise of talking BI.

I think your 3. is really it for me -- I'm letting myself feel like a 'lower value schlub' just by being in there, instead of having fun and flipping the script. As lame as these business associates were acting, they WERE having a blast and smiling the whole time.

When I first went to one, I felt like it was going to be a bunch of seedy guys who couldn't otherwise get girls, sitting there like Al Bundy with their eyes popping out at seeing a member of the opposite sex. I'd sit in the corner sulking because I'm not a loser who needs to pay to get girls, and strippers aren't real girls anyway.

Now I own it - I'm a guy who proudly goes to strip clubs, smoke cigars, and sometimes dates strippers. My real estate development clients love this - especially when I walk in and half the club knows me by first name. Plus watching me run around the arcade in free play mode is fun.

Hank I like the the open-endedness of your approach here. I've actually never been to a strip club for the reasons you mentioned above, I just assumed I'd be there to be rinsed like the rest of the chumps. Realistically, what's the amount you'd spend on a typical night running this type of stripper game?
