Well I guess the Matrix was a total fluke when it came to filmmaking. I have not watched any of their other movies. I guess the premise of Cloud Atlas drove Andy to become Lily. I guess I can remove Sens8e from my netflix que.

The Wachowskis lifted entire scenes and copied a lot from anime that's probably why Matrix ended up as good as it did.

So two men want to dress in women's clothing, wear makeup, take an intense, physically transformative hormone therapy and surgically remove their sexual organs. Why not lose an arm or a leg while you're at it? Maybe have some fur surgically installed or a tail....trans cat? Or maybe have some scales and gills implanted...trans fish anyone?

This is a good point: once you break down the boundary of what is what, you open the door to all sorts of weird shit. Why should the LGBT community decide it's only transsexuals that can change sex? Why not species? Once the barrier is removed the sky is the limit for trans-everything, and there's no moral reason why anything should be stopped. After all, how can you prove that somebody ISN'T trans-crocodile? If they apply to have special teeth put in and scales all over their body, who can stop them?

Isn't taking the red pill a Philip K Dick invention? I know he was all about seeing hidden realities. In the Arnold version of Total Recall which is based on a PKD book a Red Pill is used as a means to return to reality.

It's an old concept that goes all the way back to the Apple of Eden mythology too. The forbidden fruit that reveals or conceals the true nature of things is in a lot of stories. The Wachowskis didn't create anything new.
