The audience is being prepped for more changes to the Star Wars films. And this might mean that Rey isn't Luke's daughter. Why? Because he might be the first openly gay character in SW. Sickening the way they can't leave anything alone - everything has to be about pushing the agenda. Plot, writing, acting, etc, all of that takes a backseat.

Last week, J.J. Abrams said, "it seems insanely narrow minded to say that there wouldn't be a homosexual character in that world." Now Mark Hamill is echoing that sentiment — and saying Luke could be the (first) one they're looking for.


“Fans are writing and ask all these questions, ‘I’m bullied in school... I’m afraid to come out’. They say to me, ‘Could Luke be gay?’ I’d say it is meant to be interpreted by the viewer," he told The Sun.

“If you think Luke is gay, of course he is," Hamill continued. "You should not be ashamed of it. Judge Luke by his character, not by who he loves.”

Hamill also reportedly answered a fan question about Luke's sexuality in January, via Twitter direct message.

A homosexual Luke may seem to disrupt the popular fan theory that Luke is Rey's father — but it doesn't need to. If these people have sentient droids, they can probably manage in vitro Fertilization. It's important not to let Jedi DNA go to waste.

Was Leia a surrogate mom to her brother's child? Is this basically that Friends storyline where Phoebe has triplets for her brother, Giovani Ribisi?

Don't think it'll be Luke. (They're rumored to be introducing his female love interest/future wife in one of the spinoffs.)

It'll almost certainly be Oscar Isaac's character, to cater to the jiggling Jabbas of Tumblr who have been pairing him off with poor Boyega ever since the movie came out.

Fuck, I thought Mark Hamill had avoided idiocy. Luke Skywalker isn't gay. He calls Leia beautiful when he first sees her and goes ga-ga when he first sees her in person. He vies with Han Solo for her attentions throughout the film and well into ESB. He only backs off when he discovers Leia is his sister. It is not a matter of interpretation.
