I don't want to be insulting, here, but your sexual frustration is palpable. You are singing like a kettle.
(I went through an essay phase myself.)

The Anglosphere's sky high bitch-shields are related to its wealth and political dominance.
New York and London attitudes filter down to women who will never marry a stockbroker, pozzed by shared language as surely as by a shared needle.
These are the most dominant cities on earth, where the sexual market is most bloody and competitive. Why are you surprised by this?

Go to second tier towns and second tier countries and relax.

I'm not insulted at all. But even if your remark were true, what of it? Does it in any way invalidate the observations made in the OP, or render them of any less interest and relevance to men in the Anglosphere affected by them? What I was trying to do in that post was to get clearer about precisely why the Anglosphere has the cut-throat SMP that it does and not simply to sing like a kettle, as you put it, even though Anglokettles, surely, should be permitted the occasional luxury of letting off steam.

Incidentally, the phenomenon that I describe seems as applicable to even second- and third-tier cities in the UK.

A healthy cycle includes phases of theory/analysis and also of action. If you really believe that you worked on yourself as much as possible, and understand the local women as much as possible, and have hit a ceiling because of something (mostly) out of your control, there's no shame in dusting off your feet and looking for greener pastures.

The rub is of course the "if you really believe" part.

That's a good point you raise, TooFineAPoint. Part of what has held me back in acting on my - admittedly rather pessimistic - analysis of the UK SMP is my belief that there are still avenues that can explored/issues that can be worked on, such that it might materially affect the outcome, such as dress, physique, posture, inner game, et.c. As for the ceiling of which you speak, it resides mostly in my inability to click with the vast majority of women in my locality, centred primarily around the issue of the women here being generally vapid in terms of their lacking interests that I can relate to (especially intellectual), but also deriving from the increasingly self-absorbed and narcissistic tendencies that women here increasingly exhibit.

Having said this, since working out regularly, growing a beard and working on my inner game, I do regularly get decent eye contact from even good-looking women in my area, which is a change that I never thought I would witness here, so it's not like I feel all is lost. Furthermore, this interest is something I've managed to convert into number closes in the last few encounters I've had, so I don't believe that it's simply wishful thinking on my part. But the problem that I've encountered, though, with this is that women who have been receptive to my approaches are still incredibly flaky.

See, while you may have raised a few interesting points here, it's not too much of a stretch to say that Dispenser's remark and the OP's observations aren't mutually exclusive, in that the former certainly had a bearing with regards to the latter, and that one's such tribulations would magnify them vis-à-vis other men in the Anglosphere to be out of their relation.

The thing is, you may have a leg to stand on in claiming to "let off steam" were it not for the fact that the most of your threads have been devoted towards the same tiresome mantra, with the frequency and nature of a Two-Minutes Hate that rehashes time and again how you never fail to be "forcibly struck" by the detachment of "scowling Anglobitches", even counting church-going, God-fearing ones. It's either that or a fixated moaning about the thirst, oh the thirst, such that your threads on other countries have focused on that, a completely alien concept which would earn you a laugh. How has rehashing these soundbites constantly contributes towards improving your lot?

For someone who hasn't reported on living in other parts of the Anglosphere, let alone having significant contact with them, you appear to be able to pass blanket commentary on them based on your small corner of Teesside.

And what exactly is stopping you from leaving there, even if Anglosphere women are that poisonous and beyond repair? I understand that not everyone is free of circumstances that might prevent them from expatriating. Unless you have otherwise shared them, there's not a whole lot of sympathy you can garner from this sort of almost masochistic self-condemnation of involuntary celibacy. The UK isn't exactly experiencing a dearth of foreign women, either. Why torture yourself fixating over the local ones?
With a username that translates to "Loneliness in the field", I wonder how much you had geared yourself towards failure from the get go.

If you're to attempt to make an objection to a point that I raise, you could at least express yourself in a coherent manner. What sense am I supposed to attribute to the idea that, "the former certainly had a bearing with regards to the latter" when the reference here is to Dispenser's remark in relation to my own observations? But putting that aside ...

They may sound like soundbites to you, but that may be because you are simply incapable or unwilling of grasping the subtleties involved in the considerations that I've canvassed there.

For someone who hasn't reported on living in other parts of the Anglosphere, let alone having significant contact with them, you appear to be able to pass blanket commentary on them based on your small corner of Teesside.

It's possible for me to pass comment because I have a wide compass of experience of meeting women from other parts of the Anglosphere in the UK and elsewhere, I'll have you know.

And what exactly is stopping you from leaving there? I understand that not everyone is free of circumstances that might prevent them from expatriating. Unless you have otherwise shared them, there's not a whole lot of sympathy you can garner from this sort of almost masochistic self-condemnation of involuntary celibacy. As for what's keeping me here, that's a mixture of lacking the funds, as well as other reasons. But you mistakenly assume that I'm fishing for sympathy in my posts - that's not true. At the risk of repeating myself, I'm interested in analysing the situation here vis-a-vis male-female interactions, so that lessons might be drawn from this; lessons which might actually be applicable to game, I might add. These considerations might strike you as overly ponderous or even pessimistic, but to simply put one's head in the sand and pretend that, e.g. widespread thirst, is a figment of just my own imagination or the exigencies of my own unique predicament, is to simply not face up to the facts of life in the Anglosphere for most men.

As for my username, it's taken from my favourite Brahms Lied of the same name , so I think you've also jumped the gun again on that one.

One last point: There is a space on this forum for an analysis of why the conditions obtain that many - and not just myself - have highlighted and discussed on this forum. I neither need to justify to you - nor will attempt to do so - why I wish to engage in such an analysis here. If you find these reflections tiresome, you're not compelled to read them.

Dude, you're being more defensive than necessary. JWLZG is right about the similarities of the tone and content in your posts.

I think you're over analyzing. UK can be a tough place to game compared to other places, we all know this. But honestly, it sounds like you're just complaining. Lack of funds isn't a valid excuse not to leave. There are plenty of countries in Europe that are way cheaper than here. Easyjet, Wizz Air and Ryanair provide dirt cheap flights to such countries.

Sure, there are cheap flights out of the UK, I wouldn't argue with you on that one. But you still need a minimal amount of dough to set yourself up, though, which is more my sticking point.

But I think some of you guys on here are getting hung up on my wanting to take an analytical approach to understanding the Anglo dating market. Whatever my motivations might be - and people are welcome to have a pop at me on here for what they assume those to be - I don't see how this impacts on the considerations that I've been discussing, since these considerations - assuming I've described them correctly and within reason - affect all of us trying to game women in the UK.

You might simply reply, "Well, I don't see the point of it. It's just a load of complaining on the part of Feldeinsamkeit". But it isn't, actually, because an understanding of the foundations of a subject very often can be cashed out in terms of practicable techniques in many areas of research. An example to illustrate:

Just because you can apply a mathematical technique, such as the differential calculus, doesn't mean that you should simply content yourself with that and, rather than seek to understand its position within a wider theoretical framework, i.e. the foundational subject of mathematical analysis. (This seems to be the type of argument that some of my critics have levelled at me in this post. "Forget about the analysis, just get on with what you need to do"-kind of argument). Were this argument valid, though, mathematicians would never have been bothered to give a proof of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, for example, which unifies what had been regarded hitherto as disparate, albeit related, techniques into a single architectural scheme, thus enabling the derivation of additional theorems, which further advanced the subject.

By situating a phenomenon within its wider context and demonstrating how different phenomena hang together conceptually, you gain valuable insights into how one can further apply the techniques that you've been working with thus far more fruitfully. I believe this analogy transfers perfectly well to Game, since the latter has a theoretical aspect which informs the particular techniques that we make us of to achieve workable results going forward. (Just think of the technique of negging here: The theoretical aspect being to first understand the role that a woman's already inflated ego plays in shaping the way she responds when being opened by a guy; the practical aspect being, of course, the neg that takes this into account and is calibrated in reference to this fact).

You are whining and your posts are irritating.

You don't want to hear solutions, just talk about your problems.

Your not the only person on here that lives in a Anglo country.

To travel to Europe, doesn't take much money. I did it and I was making minimum wage when I first moved to the UK. I would fly my EX in for a 100 GBP for the weekend and she was more than thrilled to come to London for the weekend.

I thought Teeside has the easiest gald in the UK!

Obviously. If we all knew what to do beforehand, we'd all be filthy rich and drowning in pussy.

The thing that bothers me about theory is, it's theory. It might all sound great on paper but there is only one way to test it, in the field. A sales student smashing his theoretical exams isn't a good salesman right away, he might never be.

Nope, if you read my posts you'll find that I talk about issues which confront all guys in the Anglosphere and don't focus overly much on my own issues. As you're obviously not interested in engaging in a constructive discussion about the topics I raise in my posts, I'm not going bother to explain for the umpteenth time my rationale for doing so.

Sure, agree 100%. I'm just saying that theory has as much of a place in Game as does practice. They're not mutually exclusive, since the one supports and is informed by the other.

RE: Reflections on UK women: Thirst deriving from restricted social access to women
I swear I live in a different UK to the one that exists on the internet.

I don't mean to be rude to the threadstarter, but if you really want to maximise your chances of success in the UK, a great place to start would be by dropping the "I am very smart" tone and language.

You're complaining about Anglo women and their transactional nature, but then also saying "if they don't immediately get tingles." That's not transactional.

You're suggesting "women have unrealstically high standards" but you can't afford a RyanAir Eurojaunt?

You're suggesting that UK women have low attractiveness (ergo, SMP value) whilst also bemoaning that their relative attractiveness is too high?

I don't mean to be a dick, but it's immediately obvious from the way you're communicating why you don't have the success you want in the "Anglosphere." (Whatever that means - UK, US and Elsewhere are all completely different culturally.)

You're also not adding in the fact that when you go abroad, you're experiencing the tourism factor - you're automatically in a different category.

Here's some findings about England from my own personal experience (for everyone, I'm not directing this specifically) :

If you're living in London, you aren't (And shouldn't be!) getting the top-of-the-range girls "just because." As someone else put, it's one of the most competitive cities in the World, with all the top guys from finance, sports, business, Hollywood (you name it) living there! You aren't going to "raise your SMP" with inner game and charisma to beat out multi-millionaire celebrities who are literally one-in-a-million prospects.

I have literally twice in my life experienced the "UK girls are total bitches who just pump and dump and ride the carousel" in an actual human. Not every day. Not even close.

Most girls from the town I grew up in are in their early to mid twenties. They are married - a fair few of them to their high-school sweethearts. Loads of them have lifetime partner counts of less than five.

I've lived in multiple cities. I'd argue even there (whilst partner counts are obviously higher) the girls are more after higher quality, lower quantity partners than anyone on the internet suggests.

The UK is competitive globally in pretty much every industry. There's no reason for you to not succeed. You should do that before you argue about SMP.

Everything outside London is less competitive.

Most girls I know are thin and feminine. Sure there are loads with terrible personalities and plenty of unattractive girls, but you don't have to have anything to do with them.

There are cities and towns in the UK where young, beautiful females are far more plentiful than men. You just have to find them. Added to that, in any given city or town, there will be places that "higher quality" girls hang out.

I'll leave it there because this is boring.

I just get the impression that the impression of the UK on this forum and elsewhere comes from everyone reading threads on the internet that are based on either 1) A nightclub in London where a random guy thinks "game" is going to land him a supermodel that's currently sitting in the lap of an Oligarch or Chelsea footballer, or 2) A guy goes to a dive-bar next to a Manchester Job Centre and wonders why all the women are fat, ugly and rude.

RE: Reflections on UK women: Thirst deriving from restricted social access to women

Listen, Kitsune, I'd drop the ad hominem cheap shots if I were you - you won't win any arguments by doing that. Furthermore, actually taking up and engaging meaningfully with the original topic in the OP might have been worthwhile, too, but hey ho.

But let's assume, for the sake of argument, that the basic premiss of your post is correct: That the UK's dating market is just like any other in terms of difficulty of getting laid for the average guy compared with any other country. You would still have to explain how tens of thousands of guys from the UK and elsewhere in the Anglosphere report that attracting women is significantly easier in many other countries, such as Poland or Thailand.

And while we're on the subject, wasn't it the very piss poor rate of return with US women that caused Roosh himself to embark on his voyage in search of his pussy paradise outside of the Anglosphere? Incidentally, have you read Roosh's latest report on night game on ROK in which he concludes it's a complete waste of time now for nearly all guys? I suppose he's just whining and wallowing like me for pointing out those rather uncomfortable facts, isn't he?

RE: Reflections on UK women: Thirst deriving from restricted social access to women
Sticking strictly to the instance of eye-contact with young girls in public.

Although I have quite a masculine mind-set & gait & my posture has improved greatly due to kettlebell exercises.
I don't actually walk around town thinking I'm any one thing or another.
I've had girls state 2nd hand that I'm - "handsome", "hot" or "cute".
Yet I'm probably too focused on just doing my own thing to worry about projecting a certain "character" when wandering around.
Socially I'll be as jovial & witty as I can, yet if I'm walking. I probably have a more pragmatic, get from point A to point B outlook.

So if I do walk past young women on my own; it's actually quite comical the lengths they'll go to to suddenly look at their smart phone or the shop window.
Anything to not make eye contact. Even if for all they know, behind my sun-glasses I'm just looking straight ahead.

However, when I'm walking with my "sexy" female red-head (platonic) friend*?
Even though there's no holding of hands or arms around waists / shoulders, suddenly I couldn't get more female attention if I tried...

Perhaps insecure young girls just aren't that capable of gauging "SMV" when a guy is on his own these days. Regardless of his appearance.
Yet when a good looking guy is in the company of a good looking chick?
The one line from 'When Harry Met Sally' comes to mind (no pun intended) :

"I'll have what she's having."

* Friend is platonic due to being the heavy clinger type. A bit of a carousel rider historically as well.
& she's vegan...

It's an interesting observation and it raises the question of whether what you're describing there is simply an instance of pre-selection or whether there's more to it than that. Curiously, I've often got a fair bit of eye-contact from women when walking down the street when I passs them and they're in a group, so it might also have to do with women simply feeling more secure in expressing an interest when they are not alone.

I've been back in night game for a bit, doing the online thing. Some of the girls I've banged thought it was fun to show me some of the messages they receive, and I observe the approaches other dudes run.

There are some sad thirstbuckets out there, who don't much to improve themselves but think the world owes them something. Sorry champs - that's not the way it works.

I don't blame them for not wanting to deal with it sometimes. It'd be sort of like you getting approached by 300 pound chicks all night - who would want to put up with it?

One of my more important nightlife-game-life-lessons was going to bars full of 30-35 year old women with mates. I never would have believed it before but its amazing how annoying having random women constantly trying to hit on you quickly becomes. You very quickly start completely shutting down any women who aren't either a) very attractive or else b) extremely witty with their opener.

I'd recommend the experience to any guy in their 20s, it really changes the way you view approaching women. If I had 20-30 women approaching me every night I went out, 90% of whom were either stupid/ugly/too drunk, I'd very quickly develop a resting bitch face too.

@Feldeinsamkeit the UK is bad for game. But its not Saudi Arabia. If you're getting zero love in the UK you'll likely get zero love anywhere else you go - the problem is unfortunately you, not the women. Geographical arbitrage (ie moving to Ukraine/Thailand etc) can bump a guy up by 2-3pts on a 10 point scale. Which is fantastic. But if you're at a 1 and move to a 4 it's not going to change your life dramatically - you'll be going from 'no girls' to 'awful girls'. The big difference it makes is for guys who're a 5 or 6 in their home country - guys who have enough game to get with girls semi-regularly, but not good looking ones. These guys are able to apply that game and trade-up to 8s in their new country.

You mention in this thread being older - ie 35+. Yet you also say you can't afford a Ryanair weekend away in Europe, which shouldn't run more than a couple hundred pounds. If you're an older guy going after younger girls, you'll either need money or OR extreme good looks to overcome the age gap outside of S-E Asia. You'll struggle very, very badly without either unfortunately.

You said you did 100 approaches, how did that go? What was the conversion?

Women are programmed to like high SMV guys, that doesn't mean they don't bang losers. Game helps guys who don't have high SMV.

I know many guys in the UK(London) who are approach machines and have high conversion rates. I wouldn't consider them high SMV guys, they don't even have any money.

No matter what country you go to, Women will size up your pocket. In Canada (Toronto) when you first meet a girl, the first question out of her mouth is what do you do for a living.

You obviously in your 30s, why don't you have any money?

I can't speak about Poland or Thailand, guys tend to go where the girls are easy. Cuba and Dominican Republic is pretty much the same thing in my part of the world.

I'm 41, by the way. The approaches didn't go too badly as far as the interactions per se, even with the local women. In hindsight, I wasted a lot of time at first simply talking to the girl in the aisle of the shop and didn't push enough of the encounters to their logical conclusion, i.e., to ask for their phone number. I found there was a big discrepancy between the local women and foreign women I approached in terms of conversion rate. For example, I number closed 3 Asian women and only one of these flaked. The others, one a South Korean girl in her late 20s who used to be an airline hostess, the other a Chinese student, both turned up for coffee dates although, alas, the dates didn't go anywhere.

Frustratingly, I noticed that the local women who really appreciated my hitting on them and played along the most enthusiastically in the banter, turned out to be either married or in LTRs. I had a couple of good-looking women tell me that they were really flattered that I'd approached them and would have gone on a date had it not been for their being attached. I only encountered a couple of women who were obnoxious/batshit crazy, but that was to be expected, sooner or later. As for number closes, there were a couple of English women I number closed with, but both flaked, so it was a pretty dismal result on those terms.

One thing I noticed, though, about the local British women I approached was how they really didn't expect to have a male stranger start chatting them up in a shop. Although they seemed happy to have a bit of humorous banter during the time we were talking, I had the impression that many of them simply were in a default mindset of "danger, stranger" and were not comfortable with being chatted up in that context and that this was a big complicating factor in my efforts. I base this belief, incidentally, on my experiences approaching non-UK women, who seemed much more natural in their interactions and were much less defensive towards me.

The thought that I was left with, which is reflected partly in the topic of this OP, is that UK women, although open to some brief chit chat in the fruit and veg aisle, are naturally reluctant to build on this by agreeing to meet up with a guy they've only just encountered off the street. As I said, it's not that most of the women approached were unpleasant or non-responsive during the banter (although some were), it's more the feeling I was left with that the modality of getting to know them as a random stranger off the street was itself getting in the way of my success to a very large degree. Of course, it could also be the case that I simply didn't DHV sufficiently for them to want to bite.

Anyway, maybe you guys will think I'm making excuses here, but this is my honest appraisal of the situation as far as I can judge. I'm considering getting back in the field for another crack of the whip, but the doubts that I've highlighted above have held me back over the last couple of weeks.

Mate, you've had some insightful responses but you insist on re-iterating what you've already said.

It will do you some good to stop analyzing, relax, and meet up with some fellow RVFers. It'll open up your perspective and do you some good. There are many of us in London that meet up regularly. Come down.
