Before you (they) start playing dirty and go on a publicity offensive, I would go through the proper channels first.

- Psychologist's note
- Threaten to sue
- Get lawyer
- Recruit help from churches and like minded community folk
- Document everything
- Make some noise and shake some trees

If they get push back, then go on the media offensive. You don't want to smear them without giving them a chance to correct the situation... doing so will only make you look bad.

Our countries aren't much different, each province has a different flavour. What is tolerated in Ontario wouldn't be tolerated in Alberta, those oil roughnecks aren't going to put up with shit.

Even in Quebec, where Roosh had his problems. They banned Sikhs from wearing turbans while playing soccer, I believe it did get overturned but it sends a message.

I think Canada and the US are more different than you claim but they do share similarities. There is still much more freedom of speech here, more religiosity. The stuff about gays was imposed from the top > down, and it doesn't reflect the average American. Also, there was a massive media push to normalize homosexuality under Obama, and I think that can be reversed with a bunch of shock homo pedo cases becoming well known in the next 4-5 years.

I'm not saying things can't change in Canada either. I don't like the direction Canada is going in, but I don't think the situation is totally hopeless either.

Pull out the "shes being sexually harassed" card, which could literally be ANYTHING. From the sound of this, it appears she is. Don't make it about the gender the boy is identifying, make it about how the girl feels sexually harassed, stare raped, ect.

See if any of the other girls do as well. Remember, their is strength in the numbers of accusations.

Dan asked the principle to inform us when this little boy would be in the girls washroom.

Fast forward to grade two, and a couple months into the school year, our E was telling us that there was a boy in her bathroom. She talked about how she felt scared, and funny about it, like he shouldn't be in there with her. So, we went to the principle and found out that indeed this little boy was using the girls facilities. D asked them to back up on the decision (the boy had been using the staff washroom in grade one, which was fine with us at the time, but had been allowed to use the girls washrooms in the fall of the grade 2 year). The school did not want to hear us out on the matter so we demanded that our daughter be able to use the staff washroom (which is like a typical washroom at home, with a locking door). We figured this would make our daughter feel safe, and thought we were good to go. Fast forward again, and around Christmas I realized that E was not using the staff washroom (gender neutral washroom) anymore. She had been laughed at for using this washroom and was emberassed to be seen going to it/out of it. We talked it through and just told her to go wherever she felt comfortable. The thing is, she wasn't comfortable anywhere anymore. So E was holding her bladder at school. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I pulled E out of school.

A couple things that bothered us;

When E would inquisitively ask this boy if he was a boy, she was reprimanded by her teacher. This was a 6/7 year old at the time, just being curious.

The children at the school are no longer allowed to refer to this genetic male as a boy, they must refer to him as a she. "She" is a girl now, although she is actually a he. I thought E got in trouble for this too, but I'm not 100% sure, I'd have to double check with her.

This past week we have been in talks with the Student Services worker for our school board. He would like to see E back in school. He thinks we can work something out at the school, but our daughter has no interest going back there. We have not been given many options here, but think we have reached a decision on the matter. Hopefully tomorrow we will nail that down.

It's been a hard battle.

A little scary sharing this touchy story, as we could be seen as hatemongers towards this little boy, but indeed we are not. It's been a tough go, and I must advocate for my daughter and do what we feel is best for her as parents.

Some take away from this.

- Its OK for other students to make fun of a 7yo girl who uses a 'gender neutral toilet' but to ask questions of another student or call them by their biologically correct pronoun is grounds for trouble.

- The school seems to want to side with one boy over the many uncomfortable girls.

- Holding her bladder to the point of pain due to the feelings of one 7yo boy who likely has no idea what is going on.

- This is a parental issue, one that should be addressed by proper counseling. No need to counsel the boy, but the (likely) single mom.

Thanks for all the responses. I have forwarded many of them on to my cousin. I will see where this goes at the town hall meeting tonight.

I'm so confused by this whole situation. We set age limits for people, ie 18 for buying cigarettes, joining the military, etc, because society deemed that people weren't capable to make a sound judgements before said age. Yet this 7 year old child makes the decision of changing his gender and the "adult" powers that be, decide to respect his decision??

When did this become a thing? I barely got to decide got to decide what pants I wore when I was 7, yet this kids parents decide it's cool to let little Brucey cross over to being little Katie. I feel like these past few years, all the countries are in a race to see who can become the most retarded, demonstrated by the whole gay marriage and Syrian refugees debacle.

I'm starting to see why so many old men are angry, I feel as though with every year that goes by I understand the world less and less.

Update:

They are still fighting, gathering signatures and have done meetings at churches all over the city. In a positive result, the local Catholic school board announced that they will go by a students birth certificate for gender.

The debate hardly seems over, and the Catholic school is dealing with a massive amount of applications.

This is happening at the same time that a Catholic school in Ontario had to open a Muslim prayer room

I was under the assumption these boys were let into girls locker rooms under the guise of transgender as well.

My 6yo cousin cares. So do her friends. And so do parents who wish their kids to grow up in an environment that doesn't force SJW laws onto kids at such a young age.
