Has anyone received an email from the leader of the Toronto tribe? I received a strange message from the email address that was published and used during the meetup organization period, namely [email protected]. Has anyone else received messages from this account over the past few days? I'm doing a bit of an investigation here. Any help would be appreciated.

There were 2 emails provided for Toronto, the one you list plus a Yahoo account, which actually bounced back for me the other day, so I'm assuming that one was cancelled.

Rather than assume anything nefarious, I'm simply assuming that the mass worldwide outrage just spooked him, along with the threat of a possible Anonymous email hack.

I don't know who that man is but it could be a non-vetted host. As of now, I wouldn't accept any invitations from people you don't know.

Fair enough. But have you received any messages since Saturday? This would have been a fairly long-winded message with some detailed instructions.

Since there were 2 email addresses listed for Toronto, I'm assuming the "co leader" was the 2nd email address, but I could be wrong.

On a similar note - this was my biggest concern about "ROK Meetup Day."

None of the New Orleans guys knew who organized the local meetup. We all texted each other to meet up, but no one knew who the organizer was. We even posted multiple times on the Tribe Thread and no one came forward.

Speaking with other members, it seems that this was a common occurrence. I'm unfamiliar with the ROK comments section, but it's possible SJW's were trolling us and organizing meetups.

Either that, or the guys are too shy to post on the forum. Join us fellas, we won't bite...

At the least you could have kept half the email snipped just in case your suspicion was off-base...

Oh now I understand your concern. This is a burner email that was published in the ROK meetup article. There are no privacy concerns and the address is already public. That's why I'm looking into this.

I like the idea of connecting first over the phone, it's not foolproof but sometimes you can pick up a vibe from peoples' voices.

There are a number of virtual/disposable phone/text number options: Burner, Shuffle, Hushed, etc, so we never give out our legit/traceable phone numbers.

If I arranged a meetup with someone at my local bar, always filled with regulars that I'm tight with, and an ambush was attempted there, I'd hate to see what would become of the assholes trying that on my turf, would get very ugly very fast.

I don't think this is a mole, just some guys that are acting independently. What concerns me about it is that they are still using the email account that was published on ROK and has the word neomasculinity in it, so the implication is that they are not independent. In any event, the advice I received from Roosh is to simply ignore them.
