Edmonton, AB here, 4 guys met up in the upper level of one of the local bars. Great conversation about business, life, and dating. Got everyone's contact and hopefully will expand into the new year.

NYC was successful.

At least one protester got arrested trying to get into PH.D rooftop club at the Dream Downtown hotel in a futile attempt to stop the meet up.

Almost 20 guys came out tonight for the meetup and had a blast. We toasted to "safe spaces" and the beer tasted like victory.

EDIT: Reddit text removed. Basically I was at the secret meet point meeting some of the guys when 30 girls with masks swarmed me, completely surrounded me, pushed me around on the streets, tried to get strangers to get in on the action, would attempt to grab my phone from my hand. I went down into the subway to get assistance from the subway police who separated me in a utility room until the real police came.

In the end, the police escorted me to a taxi, and i did a few rounds in it before going to the final bar that my current group members were gonna meet up in, i joined them and had a good night even if I was shaken. I'm glad the final meeting place wasn't leaked, that layer of protection did work.

For the record I heavily filtered all the 6 additional dudes that were to join the group for the first time, I had their pictures, social media and telephones. I interviewed them each and spoke to them until i was certain they were one of us. Only 1 out of the 6 did not show up, so I basically heavily suspect him. That is unless the email account got hacked, which I think is rather unlikely in comparison. I really did not expect this however given how careful I was with the filtering.

I wanted to film them but they tried to grab my phone away so i had to keep it in my pocket, i managed to film some of them once i got police protection though, will post later.

I met up locally here in Socal on Thursday with 2 RVF gents, unfortunately unforeseen things happened at work this evening (plus I was hungover from the bang last night). Didn't get out till late and was 3-4 hours past the meet time.

Not that I know of. But i'll post the video later and you'll see it's legit.

The Montreal Men's Group has been active since august and has had a meeting every month. It's a secret facebook group. If a repped forum member was to add me on facebook, then I could add him to the group and he could see it really exists and that I'm its leader.

Will you be in Las Vegas during cinco de mayo weekend? If so, maybe we can do a meetup then and obviously keep our location private. Also, Las Vegas doesn't strike me as the type of place where losers who would cause problems live or would fly into just to cause problems, but you can never be too careful.

I've lived in the neighborhood for years and I've never seen that kind of police presence around that spot ever before; it's a supermarket. Interestingly, they had driven off by the time I strolled past again at 8:25 PM.

Surrey, BC, Canada meet up went smoothly.

Received an email on Friday afternoon with a picture of our new location and a different password.

I saw two guys shaking hands so I walked up and asked the password. A couple of guys joined within a few minutes and then one more who caught us just as were heading for drinks. In total 6 guys, all friendly chaps.

The meet up organizer bought us a round and two of us ordered some appetizers to share.

Lots of interesting stories. Our group had just about traveled the globe between the 6 of us. We talked about how we found RoK and our lives in general and the lunacy of the media's reaction.

These meet ups are a great way for younger guys to find mentors and for seasoned cats to pass on their wisdom, or even help younger guys network for a job.

We all have different hobbies and backgrounds, but it was great to be able to connect over common themes and speak candidly while swapping stories. A few of us are pretty busy guys, but we're all looking forward to the next meet up.

Edit: Oh yeah, our ballsy organizer sent a handful of emails with a fake coffee house location to some of the protesters/obvious shills and then he went and checked out the coffee house before the meet up and told us there were a bunch of police offers chilling inside. Coincidence, or did a bunch of protesters just get wrecked?

The Stockholm meet-up went ahead. Organised it privately with 4 other forum members and a guest at a different location and time. Steak dinner followed by a night out. I would say a successful meet-up.

^^Confirmed, everything went smoothly.

Our organizer was on top of everything, competant and prepared. In fact, everyone there was cordial, well-spoken and intelligent. It was sort of surreal to be able to talk openly about the things we discuss on here, let alone with perfect strangers. Normally you have to slowly float a couple of ideas with people to see where they stand, but not tonight.


Great venue, hot servers, good conversations, and a free pint!

Perfect night. WMA - Would Meetup Again.
