RE: Official introduction thread
Hi,

37yo doctor and father. Follower of ROK, Roosh's blog, and few other red pill sites for past couple years, and lurker on RVF for past several months.

Swallowed the red pill 4 years ago upon hearing I was going to be a father. As quick as the rush of excitement came on, so did the punch to my gut, opening my eyes to face the truth I knew was always in front of me, but couldn't overcome. That I was beta max and no longer wanted to be such a despicable creature, and that we are not equal, especially men and women.

Still not sure what it was (probably the fact that I value fatherhood to be one of life's greatest responsibilities), but at that moment, I told myself, "Eye See, its up to you. Can't blame anyone or anything anymore. Be a man for yourself and your child or continue on this path of self-destruction that will also inevitably impact your child. Don't be a pussy anymore."

Having to overcome years of suppression by blue pill indoctrination, self-esteem issues, etc., it has been a painful path. I have evolved a lot over the last few years, and while I am more self-content and in a better place in most aspects of my life, it has not come without a price. It has impacted relationships with family and friends.

It's odd, though. Blue-pill me would have worried about any negative impact all of this was having, and how I can mitigate it, thus stifling any positive growth. Red-pill me is focusing on being a better man when I sleep each night than when I woke up that morning. I still value these relationships, and hope that as the dust continues to clear, things will settle into a new normal, and without too much collateral damage. In the end, though, I am only in control of myself.

I am fortunate to have found this community, which has motivated and inspired me to strive to become a better man, and let go of some of the anger and guilt. And to realize that my history and past cannot be re-written, but that living in the present is what will determine my future chapters. I am happy when I see younger men swallowing the red pill, because it means they will be spared of some misery.

My goals for being a member are to have a more active discussion rather than passively absorbing information, to further a movement that I see only as natural and necessary, to hopefully contribute in a meaningful way, and to continue to learn and be pushed harder and further by like-minded men.

We are a band of brothers, who in today's world, have more to gain by having each other's back, regardless of our race, country, religion, age, or any other label, except that of man.

Hi RVF, been lurking the forums for a bit and finally decided to join. I've been part of a few PUA communities before and this one seems to be top notch from what I've seen so far. Lots of high quality posts and a constructive environment. Not only are most members very sharp with regards to game, there seems to be a lot of generally intelligent people on here who are gladly sharing their knowledge with everyone. It's things like that which made me want to join this forum.

About me, I'm a 25 year old Canadian and I've been learning game for about 5 years now. I was the typical shy/nice guy growing up. Had the looks but never the confidence to go with them. I eventually stumbled upon Neil Strauss' "The Game" and from there went on to discover my local PUA community. That was one of the best decisions I made as I was able to connect with other similar, like minded individuals and some of us are now best friends. Not only have we all far exceeded our expectations with game but we also pushed each other in other aspects of life (business, hobbies, health, fitness, etc.).

I look forward to continuing my journey in building and maintaining a quality lifestyle as a member of this forum.

RE: Official introduction thread
Hello,

Unlike other newly minted members, I am not a long-time lurker, for I only came to discover this forum a few weeks ago through Return of Kings and Heartiste. I was familiar with “Manosphere”, of course. There is no need to speak of my personal life at the moment; I don’t wish to get into that just yet. Rather, I will seek to contribute to the forum whilst hopefully coming to understand its membership-base; the unorthodox combination of libertinism resulting from the forum’s premise and the traditionalism which seems to have developed as of late is deeply perplexing.

«Se trata de escoger entre la dictadura que viene de abajo, y la dictadura que viene de arriba: yo escojo la que viene de arriba, porque viene de regiones más limpias y serenas; se trata de escoger, por último, entre la dictadura del puñal y la dictadura del sable: yo escojo la dictadura del sable, porque es más noble». ― Donoso Cortés

My list of Spanish-language resources and a thread full of them.
PM me with any Spanish questions; I will try to help you!

Hello,

I'm in my mid-twenties, a software engineer living between the US and Canada. I've been lurking around the forum. I am particularly interested in other's travel experiences and would love to give my 2 cents since I travel frequently as well.

Adventure 7 here--

Somehow I was inclined to get active in the forums during controversial times. Perhaps it was due to a triggering article posted on social media.

I am not entirely sure if I agree with RooshV on everything as there is still much research to be done, but I'm open to learning more.

So far, my understanding from the material reviewed so far that the content RooshV posts is exclusively focused on a highly logical, left-brain approach. My purpose is to find more effective ways on discovering the intricate framework behind CONNECTION.

I am a firm believer and advocator that although attraction presents itself in the physical, CONNECTION is ultimately nonphysical. The information I present subscribes to the concept of Metaphysics which is primarily be confirmed through personal experience.

Excited to learn and share more on ongoing path of exploration and discovery
For the good of all concerned.

By nature I keep to myself.

I've commented pseudonymously to Brother Roosh's blog and Return of Kings, but I haven't been active in this community. Don't known if I'll get active.

Born in the 1970s to a midwestern US family and have lived in over a dozen US states as well as 13 years in Europe.

I'm turning into a bitter old lonely man. Bitter not because I'm alone but alone because of my cultural and social pessimism.

There is something awful in this world of ours that feeds and destroys everything sweet and innocent leaving nothing but empty dead-eyed husks where people and human connection once lived.

This is why I'm here now, after lurking for a long time.

What's going on is not right, not true, not life. It's the world on the wrong path, lying to itself that all is fine while heading for certain death.

RE: Official introduction thread
Hey everybody,

I'm 32, born & raised in NY, Iraq Veteran/Active Duty Army until 2010, divorced with a daughter who's now living with her gov't enabled welfare mom. I discovered this whole movement existed after taking a trip to meet my friend in Bangkok, Thailand for a week after my divorce. Between my Thailand & Iraq experiences, I discovered soon after settling back into civilian life in NY that I would never think like an untraveled, inexperienced average Joe again. I soon stumbled across Roosh & a few other similar sites and found out that many others share my views & philosophy.
I decided to finally join this forum & contribute what I can to the overall theme & spend less time arguing with the opposition on places like the facebook comment sections of articles. I'm into NBA Basketball, Poker, Boxing, Reading, Politics, International Affairs, Hip Hop, Dubstep, working out, traveling & pretty much all races of women who haven't yet become feminists.

Canadian in southwestern Ontario. I spend a lot of time working in Toronto, the ground zero of feminism's destructive power. I like to troll so I don't know how long I'll last here, but hopefully I'll do it with enough art that it won't piss off the moderators too much. Like Oscar Wilde said, "If you're going to tell 'em the truth, make 'em laugh... or they'll kill you."

Cheers

RE: Official introduction thread
Hey all. Long time lurker but I finally joined to improve my game, interact with the community, contribute to the forum when I have enough experience, and because I finally manned up enough to start cold-approaching women for the first time in my life. Approaching is humbling and has taught me that knowledge is nothing without application. Approaching has also shaken my limiting beliefs and opened up new ways of thinking.

My first exposure with pickup/Game started with David DeAngelo, Mystery, and The Game during the PUA golden age of the mid 2000s. I always enjoyed David D's emphasis on inner game, which I'm glad to see has contributed to what Game is today. I have no idea how I actually discovered Roosh (probably through Heartiste) but I'm glad I did and that I found this community.

As an early 20s guy I did the whole college thing and majored in a degree I'll probably never use, which had led to my relocation to Vietnam (occasionally making it back to Cali) to teach English and learn entrepreneurship. I hope to meet up with forum guys to learn from and improve my game and meet like-minded individuals who are cool to hang out with. Here's to good times.

RE: Official introduction thread
I'm from the UK and expatriated to Poland because I grew to abhor western culture. Said culture is still influential here, but has yet to fully envelop the country. With the new conservative government in place, I hope the middle class will stop worshipping America and realise the value of their own well, values.

My introduction into the manosphere was through The Game, I had originally disregarded it but then I sought a deep understanding of human psychology-especially female. At the time it was the only book that had been recommended to me. Now 5/6 years later, I gave up on westernised women and eventually left the country because UK in general is a joke.

My interest in red pill waned as a result, but was renewed when I started to discover that a lot of Polish girls too suffer from the same shortcomings than girls in America, Australia and the UK do.

Plus with the migrant crisis and my search for truth regarding it, my interest in politics and sociology has increased and this place is unfiltered on the matter.

I've also quit facebook, social media is a big proponent of the downfall of humanity and I want no part in it.

Hey guys,
Been an occasional reader since joining last year. I was introduced to game after someone mentioned The Game on another Internet forum. I'm an amateur and find it difficult to approach in my area but I feel like I will be successful one day with more approaches.

I enjoy sports, reading and travelling and I'm currently studying at University. Planning on moving to another state in Australia, or another country when I finish this degree.

Anyway planning on contributing to this awesome forum for years to come!

I'm Grizzles, 24 year old- I frequent other manosphere sites but this particular forum seems the most appealing to me for discussing ideas and also inparticular a certain focus on meeting up with members.

I discovered the red pill last year around this time and have been on a journey seeing how far the rabbit hole goes, I now know what I want out of life and what goals I want to achieve and having a community that caters to that is why I joined the forum.

I haven't been posting as I've been observing the posting habits of others to ensure I hopefully wont get banned haha.
