One headline I saw say ROK was a "rape advocacy" group.

Is there anything that can be done legally? These headlines are just downright libelous. Roosh is a public figure but most of the people showing up to these meetings are not.

The media and these "journalists" need to face consequences for their actions of some kind. It's no longer enough to just hold the meetings, even though that is the immediate objective.

What are these people going to do? These are nothing more than gatherings of maybe a couple of dozen guys having a few beers together. Worst case you get some hysterical feminists overreacting and harassing you, or some limp-wristed journalist trying to 'infiltrate' the group.

Let them infiltrate; we're not going to be saying anything subversive (and remember guys, don't talk about anything illegal, no matter how minor - I don't even want to hear about who you buy weed from, you shouldn't be doing that anyway). Just be cautious about giving out your full name and addresses, but even then the weasels should be easy to spot.

I trust that most of these events are scheduled in 'happening' sorts of places? Areas designed for good times, not angry protestors? If on the off chance the feminists get out of control and a cop shows up, simply explain that you're organizing a Men's Meet Up Group; that you discuss issues related to masculinity in the modern era, and that you think feminism got some things wrong, but that saying that has made some activist groups really angry. You should be wearing something casual but professional, while they're a bunch of blue haired freaks.

If possible, it might be worth having a wingman standing off to the side, observing and recording any interactions you have with protestors/police (ensuring, of course, this conforms fo the recording standards of your area). But all of that said, these people are mostly keyboard warriors; I doubt there will be many protests.

Recording is key if counter-protesters come. Proves we're non-violent, didn't instigate, protects against false charges. I also think having an agenda for each meeting is useful. While I'm sure Roosh will have thought of better protective measures, the fact remains, if we stick to the issues that concern us most, we can't be accused of much since none of those are improper. The role of men in society, the decline in femininity, how men are being chewed up and spit out in divorce courts, as well as health/fitness maters - all of these appear in mainstream news articles daily. If someone switches to a provocative topic such as the ones we are falsely accused of, you'll know you have a ringer in your midst. Probably with the record function of his iPhone turned on. Don't take the bait.

If successful, meetups like these, over several years, could help swing voting patterns. Women largely vote as a block - with the focus being women's issues. Certain minority groups vote as a block. Men? We vote like chickens with our heads cut off! No organization whatsoever. But Trump is showing that, with some leadership, large swings in traditional voting patterns IS possible.

In and of itself the measures you have described are a reasonable response to the situation you have outlined. Unfortunately, at least here in Australia, it has gone way, way, beyond a screeching feminist or two. We are talking national if not global media coverage where news teams may actually be on site, if not then accepting footage to screen prime time and a concentrated, dedicated, police presence. All a bit much for some bloke who would like to have their jobs on Monday morning.

The smart phone app "Periscope" allows for live video broadcasting that is automatically recorded. It's very easy to use. It requires a Twitter account, however.

With such a broadcast, events can be potentially be seen and heard by thousands, live.

It might be something to look into for those attending the events where protesters show up to cause issues.
