It's not as easy as it seems. If you think that just because you go to Ukraine for a week or two, dress in a fancy suite and buy a few sushi dinners will result in many relationships you are sadly mistaken. UA, especially Kiev/Odessa has had thousands of foreigners doing that for years so even there game is required and local women certainly know how to take advantage of us and how to "keep their legs closed for as long as possible". So, between air tickets, apartment rental, presents, and various other travel expenses is it really worth it to go overseas short-term just to go on a few dates and bang a few 6 or 7s? Unless you live there for at least a month or so chance of getting into an LTR with an 8+ Ukrainian hottie is slim and for 99% of us living there and being gainfully employed there just isn't feasible.

Here: mahabbat.kz and mamba.ru for those located in Central Asia.
Mahabbat means 'love' in Kazakh.
But it's difficult to pull ONSs or short-term relationthips from there, as chicks are mostly looking for LTRs or marriage, especially asians.
There are also semi-pros and pros there looking to make some cash.
Almaty is called a brides' city. Too many chicks (various nationalities, besides Kazakhs, Russians, and a lot of mixes), and not very many available dudes, many are druggies or alchies, thus not a great dating material.
So if you are sober and know some game, you're golden.
Of course, at least Russian is a must. I am also learning Kazakh, as Kazakh chicks love it when a European dude tries to use their native tongue.

It's recommended to avoid chicks from some southern cities, like Taraz, as they are considered to have the worst personalities.
For me, being 44, almost the only option is online, as younger chicks usually don't consider me.
So I mostly date married chicks, single mums, occasional female students looking for an experience with an older dude just for a dinner a deux.
It's also less time-consuming; it's just important to have a picture in your wicked profile.

Also, a weird pickup venue here is merchandize markets (selling clothes, footware) located within the city limits, where there are a lot of saleswomen to pick up. Many of them are bored and looking for some adventure, especially if you can buy some of their merch.

Somebody mentioned offering specifics, and since many of them have been mentioned on this and many other threads I will reiterate at the risk of being repetitive.

1) Move
- if its so hard in your daily life to approach women, then you probably live in a bad place. Life is too short to live in the woods. Unless you want that. Totally up to you, and you may have obligations that keep you where you are, but this is the obvious first fix.

2) Become active
- join the most expensive and exclusive gym in your area, and then become a regular,especially taking classes. Crossfit is perfect for this, and this happens all the time and no one bats an eye. Its usually around $200/month. You would spend 2x that amount at least if you are regularly going out on dates. Side benefit, you make yourself more attractive.

3) Talk to People
-this sounds like your biggest issue. Is it really that hard to interact with the opposite sex where you live? If so, see #1. You should be social and freely chatting up people, as a cool friendly guy. If you are not open to people in general, its next to impossible to be go from 0-60 when you meet that special snowflake. You need to be more chatty, friendly, and cool. To the waitress, the store clerk, the librarian. El Mech's hack is the right mentality.

4) Take Classes
take classes for anything, especially dancing and acting. I have yet to do this, but I have no problem meeting women 20-30, because my lifestyle is #1, #2, #3.

Dont get discouraged, just build a better lifestyle to enable meeting women. I regularly approach, and currently have several 10-15 yr younger women in my life. Now my biggest worry is whether or not to keep an exclusive GF. And Tinder when I am bored but online is boring and exhausting. Plus the plates that have never dropped from months or years ago.

Most of all fight the urge to think you are old. You are only as old as your mindset. It sounds like this could be an issue for you too. What are you saying to yourself? What do you think about yourself? "Oh Im old, this is too hard??" I tend to think "Now I have cash in my pocket, have no fear and look better than I did at 30". Mindset and self talk are crucial now. You dont want to end up spending most days indoors feeling sorry for yourself.

I do commute into a city a few days per week, but I wouldn't say I bump into many women in the course of my day. I'm not a chronic weed smoker.

I go to a gym, but it's very small and I'm often the only one there. They have Crossfit classes which are quite small and have hardly any women in them, though I will sometimes talk to them when they are around. I prefer to do my own weight trainibg over Crossfit, which I also think is too expensive.

I talk to people like this all the time but I don't think it counts for much since waitresses and store clerks are just doing their job, and are paid to be nice.

I agree. I work on not thinking about it at all as that's pointless. But there is still that sense in the background of having having less energy than I used to to do things. Time is not unlimited.

And sure it could be the guy "was rich", but just from what I've experienced women don't care nearly as much about looks or age as guys think they do - they primarily care about confidence and charisma, because women are hardwired to primarily find a "dominant" mate for evolutionary survival reasons (while men on the other hand primarily want a "fertile" mate, so looks and beauty are more important to males since they indicate fertility).

I'm a good looking guy but when I acted wimpy I got laid less than guys who were a lot uglier than me.

From my experience being a good looking guy means you're more likely to get a woman's attention and get her to say "hi", but if you look good and act wussy she's less likely to sleep with you based on looks alone. An older or uglier guy will probably have to do the first approach most of the time, but if he has game then he can probably score a lot of poon.

As far as "game" goes I don't think I repel women, but I don't think I attract them either. I have no problem talking to them though I probably don't keep conversations going long enough unless I'm in a very relaxed atmosphere. But most of the time women are not that interested in talking anyway. "Daygame" is just not practical, from a time investment perspective.

Agree completely. Same experience as Turnus, though was never married and no kids. Keeping in shape + extreme ZFG + knowing how women think when it comes to sex is all you need. If I had known 20 years ago what I know now ... I would probably be paying a lot of child support to once agile gazelles that have now morphed into a pod of land whales.

Your style will make a huge difference. It has to communicate that your are not some boring old beta shlub. You are the dominant man. I have a section in my book about how to get your style together in a way that will link you up with Classic masculine archetypes.

I'm in CO and 47, in pretty good shape. I thought I'd try to farm some numbers while I was stuck in front of the computer. I tried Match, OKC, POF, Tinder and some SA with no luck. Seems that on the more traditional sites I was trying to qualify myself against 50 other dudes for the very few desirable women out there in my age range (21-29) and my age would automatically disqualify me. Even one of the sites, wouldn't let you search down more than 15 yrs! Admittedly, I need better photos and have been trying to build out my Instagram with shit bitches would be interested in. Even expanding the age range to 35 or 40 was just ugly fatties with the best prospect being a 32yo from two states away. Even SA was grim, I have had some luck on there in the past (never pay these hoes), but this go around I didn't even come across anyone interesting enough to meet who didn't come by with her hand out.

Great advice. I just bought a road bike and plan on getting out with some cycling groups. Also, want to get back into climbing and take some climbing classes.

I am going to remove meeting women as a point of focus at this point but keep my eyes and my mind open and if I see someone interesting, make an approach.

Hey Silverfox, I'm sure this same stuff is in other posts but I'll try to condense what I'm noticing in my area(Chicago) at least. Obviously it's going to be different for everyone based on their location.

I have played around with my age and I seem more marketable in California and Florida. Just something about those gals seem to be more interested in my type/style/looks.

Most young gals do not have their search preferences to look for older dudes so even if you right swiped on them, they would never encounter you. So my advice for anything in the low 20's would be strictly day game. Night game usually involves them going out in sets and can come off creepy if they have to talk amongst themselves to get validation from their peers. This is for 20-24yo crowd.

25-29 crowd is really tough for older guys to get in terms of online as they are at their prime and they know it. They say what goes and what doesn't. They use these dating apps to get backup bench warmers if their primary guys fail them and they are bored. If they are at their prime, they're going to want Chad Thundercock and that's it.

30-35 is when all their friends are starting to settle down and get married so this crowd is generally open to meeting more mature and stable guys in hopes of a LTR but since they recently came off their prime, they can still have an attitude and be somewhat picky.

36-40 is when they know they are getting older and weathered, they're attitude is a bit different and they are more open and flexible and thus easier to game since they realize their SMV has gotten lower. These are the ones that have personally told me "competition is fierce" amongst gals to find a good guy. I kinda laughed at that thinking they don't know half of it when it comes to guys. LOL

Surprisingly, there are quite a few really good looking 35-40yo around where I live. This has been my saving grace between the slow moments in between dates. YMMV

Another good avenue to meeting gals is to attend all the festivals that go on. Everyone has their guard down and generally want to have a good time.

I would've included EE in addition to SA/SEA but from everything I've read on here, it looks like you have to stay a good bit longer to gain traction and get anything goin. SA/SEA you can go for a week or two and still get some decent play.
