I need some quick hitter advice from anyone who has the gumption and wants to help.

I live in Saigon, Vietnam and will have the entire month of July to travel. I don't want to do it here in SEA cause' it's no longer exotic to me nor do I want to go anywhere in the Western Hemisphere (from NY) lived in Latin America for two years.

I also don't want to do anything super ambitious like hit the entire balkan circuit or motorcycle across China-take the trans-Siberian railway.

More or less I would like to go to one or two places (could be countries) where I rent an apartment, can live modestly, read and work out during the day, and run game in the evening.

Money is an object but I can pretty much go anywhere and live at least a middle class lifestyle.

Where would you guys go? I have already been to the standard flag-bearers of poo-nan-i like Ukraine (still a consideration) and I go to Thailand/ Phils/ Cambodia often b/c of proximity.

Where is that last great gilded palace of sin?

You guys are all travelers. What do you think?

Throw some suggestions at me even if it is only one or two words.

Even if it's something like rent an apartment in Hvar for a month and park your ass on the beach, I need to hear stuff like that.

July = tourist season = bang DTF solo tourist chicks = go to where DTF solo tourist chicks go = somewhere where DTF solo tourist chick can occupy herself = (usually) big anonymous liberal tourist cities = London, Paris, Rome, etc.

Hi Cafare, i've just moved from Da Nang to Saigon and i'm currently looking for a place to live. Can you recommend a good place to find reasonable studio style month by month apartments? I really liked District 7 but it is a little far from the action.. I have some good Vnmese friends so language barrier is no issue for negotiating etc.

My usual guidelines in travel are: "Avoid extreme climates," and "Avoid rush-hour."
Russia's probably habitable at that time of year, and not flooded with thirsty tourists driving up the prices of goods and the egos of women.

Yo man. I was renting in D2 if you are interested in that? Serviced apartment for $500 a month including everything. Quiet surroundings but 15=20 minutes from the action and around a bunch of whities with great food and happy hours. Saigon Outkast is also a great venue there to drink.

If I were you I would look in the area around Little Tokyo or "Lê Thánh Tôn" in D1. There is definitely some monthly rentals in those back alley ways where the massage parlors and hostess girlbars are. It's a great little labyrinth back there. I go there often to eat. If I weren't staying where I am now I would look there. And I don't keep with hookers in this country. The neighborhood has a great ambiance if you like Jappo culture and don't mind living amongst Jappo people. It also puts you within walking distance of the biggest meat market in town- Lush Ladies Night.

There's also D4 which is worth checking out especially if you don't mind being in a Vietnamese area. Cause from there you are a hop skip and a jump from most D1 nightlife and Cargo Bar is out there.

I think I am going to India. But it's not for the chicks. I just want to go there and my buddy who is from the North will be hosting. Gratefully, there are other things in life besides pussy, even if they are few and far between. I appreciate the replies.

Cheers Cafarella. I really like that Japanese town i've been there a few times. Funny you mention it as i was there the other night with a Vietnamese date holding hands and the security guy came over and asked her to 'show some respect lol' Hilarious as the area is kinda like one big brothel with loads of Japanese girly bars.

Seriously Bro add me. Most of my colleagues and sports buddies are wifed-up and I would love to have another single guy to go out with.

I'm off to Cambodia until after Tet but would love to go to skybar or ER upon my return. I have been doing pretty much exclusively online game to a wide range of results from a couple of nasties to a legit 9 if she wasn't 5'1 and a huge pain in my ass.
