Man ordered to tell police if he plans to have sex 24 hours before.

This is just crazy. What is going on in the UK?


A man cleared of raping a woman has been ordered to give police 24 hours' notice before he has sex.
The man, in his 40s, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was acquitted in 2015 at a retrial after claiming the alleged victim had consented.
An interim sexual risk order, initially imposed in December, has been extended for four months by magistrates in York.
It requires the man disclose any planned sexual activity to the police or face up to five years in prison.
The order - which was drawn up by magistrates in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, and extended in York - reads: "You must disclose the details of any female including her name, address and date of birth.
"You must do this at least 24 hours prior to any sexual activity taking place."
It also contains restrictions on his use of the internet and mobile phone devices and requires him to inform officers of any change of address.
A further court hearing in May will decide whether the interim order should be made into a full order, which has a minimum duration of two years and can last indefinitely.
Sexual risk orders were introduced in England and Wales in March last year and can be applied to any individual who the police believe poses a risk of sexual harm, even if they have never been convicted of a crime.
They are civil orders imposed by magistrates at the request of police.

That's insanity.

It makes sense that persons convicted of sexual offenses can be put on a sex offender registry and can be made to check in with authorities from time to time to make sure they are being rehabilitated. But that's only after a person has been lawfully convicted.

I've never heard of someone cleared of an offense being required to behave as if he were on probation or parole for a crime he was convicted of.

And the notion of reporting to the authorities 24 hours in advance of sexual activity is impracticable and invasive. Not to mention outrageous. I would be surprised if that rule was even applied to persons with a conviction.

I don't know a lot about law in the UK, but I'm pretty sure that almost every court in the U.S. would strike that kind of requirement down. Due process protects the right to privacy, including an individual's lawful sexual activity.

This is a form of arrest without trial. It is abridging his privacy in pursuing his right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

In a sane world he should be able to file a writ of habeas corpus and force closure on this.

Of course, this is in the UK. Can't spell cuck without UK.

Man accused of rape.
Man cleared.
No mention of punishment for false rape charge
Man punished.

If there was one way to push the docile men into action id think one way would be something akin to this.

Don't forget fellas, the victim doesn't have to prove anything thanks to a change in UK law. The person who must prove they did not rape the woman is the accused.

So say you fuck some girl and she likes it rough up the arse? You're going to give some anal tears here and there, few bruises and red marks. Now what can you do to prove you did not rape her? Prove it.

No video, no voice recorder as they're illegal unless the party consents to it via contract. Your word vs hers. All the while your name and face can be put out there and white knights and captain save-a-hoes want you to take a dirt nap, courtesy of a nice beat down ofcourse.

Your employer gets wind of this too.

Prove to me how you would get out of this.

There are many, many seemingly insane laws on the books these days. It is a result of them being passed through parliament with "minister to fill in later" or something to that effect.

It would seem our legal history, the basis on which most of the World runs their legal systems, has been thrown by the wayside.

Only recently local councils were using anti-terror laws to spy on citizens' dustbins and what was being put in them e.g. general waste in recycling bins etc.

The lunatics have taken over the asylum and it really does get more and more like a police state every day.

This is the problem. Some Muslims take their religion too seriously.

Is this problem endemic in the rest of Europe though? is there is bastions of sanity in Europe somewhere? The funny thing is I always thought the Europeans were smarter than the Americans and more practical. Now I am wondering whose worse off.

This isn't really true.

Nothing supersedes British law (supposedly).

Similar to what Jews have done for, well forever, Muslims can choose to settle disputes at a Sharia court.

It's no different from me having two warring friends over for a coffee and mediating a settlement to a dispute without them resorting to the court system.

There is also the privacy issue involved with the women's names.
