Depends on the dress. Those long floor sweeping ones that came out a few years back are pretty terrible and can hide bad legs and thick waists. Mini dresses are pretty good indicators of a girl's overall body and shape. I'm more offended by the high waisted skirt and tee combo. Easy way to hide a middle age woman's stomach on a teenage or college age girl.

Like anything it's a case by case decision. If I can't tell that they're fake then game on but if I feel like I'm on a date with Freddy Kruger then my boner runs faster than Johnny Dep in Nightmare on Elm Street.

Exactly, which is why I stated "the right dress", since they are not all equal.

It would be be like saying you don't like a girl to dress in jeans because you regularly encounter baggy/unfashionable jeans.

I don't know what the fuck you all are talking about. A dress is the most feminine garment a woman can wear. If you're worried about her "hiding" fat then don't date fatties. Unless it's a blind date where you don't know what she looks like beforehand then there's no excuse to be surprised by her shape.

Thought of another one. I cannot stand actresses. It's a huge turnoff when you meet an otherwise cute girl. There is a reason why men used to dress up as women and perform on the stage back in Shakespeare's day. It's a very masculine job to emote, gesticulate, change your voice, swing around on the stage. I've performed on stage in college and trust me, it's not a pussy's job. It's a lot of mental endurance and a lot of aggression comes out on stage.
