I haven't been back home in a LONG time guys. Give to me straight guys. I'm talking to the veterans of the MD/DC/VA area. Especially the black dudes. Do I need a babe slayer or will a studio apartment do? How receptive are the snow bunnies? What clubs do I hit to find them? How open are they to being opened up in malls and supermarkets and shit? What places do I avoid? I'm 29 but I'm muscular and about 190lbs. Will a 19 - 24 year old be hard to get?

I currently work near Ft. Meade (I live in DC). There's absolutely nothing there but white trash, you'll have to travel to DC... which means a DD or metro from Greenbelt... which is a pain in the ass. Taxis are a no go, too expensive and too far.

I realize Ft. Meade itself don't have shit. I meant Maryland. I don't mind driving places. Where in Maryland can I go to meet decent looking chicks? What about online? okcupid?

Well there's lots of great girls in Maryland. I've hung out in Bel Air and in Baltimore and never had a problem. Just do the norm and hit up what your good at. I've gotten random tail in a mall there and multiple bars.

Not sure about where your living or DC though as I've never been there.

There is NOTHING in Fort Meade/Annapolis Junction area except businesses dedicated to YOU KNOW WHO. You will have to hit up Washington DC which is somewhere you don't want to just depend on.

Not knowing you finances, I would roam DC, Baltimore and Northern VA and every so often head to BWI airport and tear up other destinations :-)

I don't really like flying unless I have to. So I think I might hit up the Acela to NYC very very often. Do any of you guys know if Amtrack has a regular traveler program for the Acela?
Also, I'm from Philly. Haven't lived there in 10 years but my family is there and so I have some social proof. Should I just say screw the beltway area and head up home every weekend?

In Fort Meade, you're really equidistant to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. I'm sure you'll find something to occupy your time. Also, Ft. Meade is not too far from P.G. County (Prince George's), NE/SE DC and Baltimore which all have a very large African-American population, although i don't know too much about whether that scene is good or not.

I don't know if this will work due to the horrific traffic (if you're working for the agency-we-cannot-speak-of forget the train, I checked google maps), but if you can reverse commute from downtown Baltimore to Ft. Meade you should look into it. Are the girls amazing in Baltimore - after Europe, probably not. They are, however, much friendlier than they are in DC. Everyone is friendlier in Baltimore when it's not the summer (then lots of people from DC come to party) regardless of gender, age, race, or background. Everyone wants to talk with you. I've gone to night clubs with just my friend and entire mixed groups will come up and talk with us just because that's what you do. In DC, forget cute girls, guys don't want to talk to you when you go to dive bars.

My game is mediocre at best, but while I may not get anywhere w/the girls, I always have a good time when I hang out on Federal Hill and Feld's Point when it's not the summer (haven't been to Camden yet). In DC, I don't go out when it rains. I've been to Federal Hill in November in pouring rain expecting the worst and had a great time.

As well, Baltimore has Towson University, which has the hottest US coeds that I've ever seen outside of Florida State University. Don't go hanging out there on the weekend - it's a commuter school - but try to find out where the bus that takes all the residential students downtown on Friday/Saturday night. If you get a day off during the week (Tues-Thurs) when school is in session (Veteran's Day?), you really need to go have coffee at the performing Arts School at Towson - you won't be disappointed.

There used to be a bar called Bourbon Street where on college night the girl's dressed with less modesty than strippers and for the most part pulled it off. It got closed and moved to a place named after (I think) Doha or Abu-Dubai or some middle eastern name between the inner harbor and city hall. They frisk you at the door, and if I hadn't been creeped out by that and just not in the mood for deafening music I would have gone in given the talent lined up at the door.

Maryland will be a let down regardless of what you do. I'm hoping this might soften the blow.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm not going to live in DC simply because the traffic and the high rent. I actually have to drive to Arlington once a week for the job so I'll get to check out some NoVA talent I hope What areas in Baltimore do you recommend? I'm thinking of investing in a condo there. Not to live permanently, I just don't wanna rent.

Good tips with the college girls. Yeah I think after 10 years overseas young pretty college girls are the only thing that will do LOL. I have to slowly get use to the swamphogs and fatties. Like taking a bandaid off. But coffee shops at the Arts school is pretty fruitful huh? Can you actually sit down and drink your coffee and read something or is it like a hot stuffy truck stop shop? Are these girls receptive to guys coming up to them while they're chilling by themselves? Are there any shopping districts in Bmore, or is that DC? Any hip hop bars?

Columbia, MD is worth a shot. The mall is poppin' and I've heard about Union Jacks being good.

On another note, Montgomery county has some good prospects in Bethesda.

Ft. Meade is closer to Baltimore than DC. I recommend you go to Phelps Pt. in Baltimore to meet the 19-24 set (lot's of hotties from UMBC, Towson U and John's Hopkins to be found there) and they are WAYYY friendlier than anyplace in DC.

I must have been there on a bad day as Public House was showing NCAA Basketball games and was about 70% dudes although almost every girl who was there was hot.

JofSuperman can I ask which places in Bethesda? Seriously the only places I know there are Caddie's ,Blackfinn and Union Jacks. Blackfinn and Caddies has nice girls but everyone is in tight groups and closed off to outsiders. I wouldn't know exactly, but heading to a venue at 12 am on weekend, you should expect a cockfest. Try arriving at 10pm, and gaming till 12am, that's usually when it's not a cockfest from the few times that I've done night game.

The girls at Towson, especially when they are in downtown Baltimore, are definitely more receptive than DC girls, but then most people in Baltimore are. Please note the use of the term "MORE" not "the greatest" or "the best". You'd be better off trying to figure out which nightclubs they go to downtown since, again, Towson is a commuter school. Don't bother trying to go party at Towson at night unless you've gotten into a social circle and invited to a house party, bar crawl, or live performance. You might want to try roosh's coffee house techniques at the coffee shops on the weekend. There are some residential students. I've never been there on the weekend, so I can't make any promises.

As for Towson performing arts center, OK, you caught me. I admit that I never got a chance to walk inside the performing arts center, I only saw the girls walking in and out I keep begging my friend who is a CS/Math major there to study in that building and give me the low down. I can, however, say that the other parts of Towson University had plenty of places to sit around for a cup of coffee where no one would bother you with lots of talent walking by, so while I obviously can't promise there will be a place inside, I'm fairly confident you won't find it difficult. Even if there is no coffee shop inside, the talent on the rest of the campus is nothing to sneeze at and well worth the trip for coffee or a light lunch.

I've done basic warm ups (asking for directions, drive by compliments, asking what a group activity was) at Towson w/o any problems. I wouldn't recommend direct day game there, but then the owner of this site doesn't recommend it almost anywhere. Dressing well but not too well would be a good idea - my standard uniform is a felt sports coat (girls like to touch felt), good fitting jeans, broken in black leather shoes, and either a pastel dress shirt or t-shirt. You will still fit in but look much better dressed than the other guys.

I don't know the first thing about Baltimore real estate or specific traffic patterns except I-95 sucks during rush hour. There has been enormous amount of construction in the last 10 years, but you will need to find a local to give you solid advice on where to live. I only know about my experiences with the nightlife. Mundane but important things like decent grocery stores and not having your car broken into are beyond me. My gut feeling is that you want to find an apartment that is in a sweet spot between Federal Hill, Camden, Felds Point, and the entrance to the Batlimore-Washington Parkway (goes right to "The Agency").

And keep in mind, my experience with trying to attract women has been in DC, Toronto, and Denmark (Roosh's trinity of hell). So what looks like horrific to many often looks pretty nice to me. Compared to my time in Toronto and Denmark, Arlington is pretty nice.

Yeah, TO and DK are that bad.

Been here for a week. From what I've seen so far,I can say there's a lot of people here. A shit load of people in DC and all the surrounding areas. But I don't know, I don't sense this place has a soul. Philly is broke down, but the people have soul. Manhattan is rich and snobby, but Brooklyn has soul. DC just kind of feels soulless, which is funny because of all the people here.

Anyway I don't know anything yet. This is just my super initial observation.
