We actually do have "dorms" though they're total shit and look more like apartments. Also they're freshman only I think.

Brethren, if there is an all-powerful loving God, he wouldn't put me through such a shitstorm just to fullfill one of my most critical biological life imperatives, and the reason I exist here in the first place. "God's timing" my ass, God wants me to get some interesting women and get a rockin' girlfriend asap.

Also this happened to me not long ago when I went to visit a couple of my mates who flat together:

"Oh sorry I can't go out and see that movie tonight because my girlfriend has a headache/cold/is tired/had a long day at work/blah blah"

Translation: My girlfriend knew damn well you're only in town for a couple of days and that we were all going to go out tonight, but she decided to make a up a reason why she couldn't go out just to prevent me from having fun with my friends.

Went with the other friend instead, on the way he's telling me about how once again he has developed feelings for a girl he works with. This is the third co-worker he's become obsessed with, and the third time he told me that "I'm afraid if I ask her out I'll ruin our friendship".

It would be funny if we weren't friends. He just can't see how false these "friendships" are. On one hand she doesn't respect him as a friend truly because she knows he likes her and is just enjoying the attention. On the other hand he isn't truly a friend to her because really all he wants is to LTR her and live some magical Disney fairytale.

Something similar to this happened to one of my employees at a work gathering, which was watching the McGregor-Aldo fight at my house with beers and all male nonsense talk etc. A guy's night in basically. Some colleague bonding.

Anyway, this guy threw up multiple times and had severe stomach pain...all stress induced from the hassle his girl was giving him over text. She's a short fat, stupid, low class 6.

Lost a lot of respect for the guy that night.
