The men told staff at the hospital in the western town of Schoppingen that their unconscious friend had fallen down the stairs.

But one of them later admitted to police that they had blown up the machine.

Police confirmed that none of the money or condoms from the machine had been taken.

The two surviving men were arrested before later being released from custody.

What a way to go out -- taking the dirt nap on Christmas because you were trying to break the cash out of a condom dispenser.

How much money is there in a condom vending machine? Probably not enough to risk losing your life over....

I remember hearing a story some years ago about four guys who decided to rob a convenience store. During the robbery, the owner of the store shot and killed two of the guys — one made it out to the getaway car with the money, but he and the driver were later apprehended, arrested, and (largely because there were deaths associated with the robbery) sentenced to lengthy prison stints.

The hilarious footnote: The take from the register was just under $200. Had they all survived and evaded capture, each participant would have made less than 50 bucks.

I have been happily rawdoggin my whole life.

Funny how some people risk their very life and freedom by taking up dangerous criminal activities to get things that are a complete non-issue, even repulsive to others. Most often this would apply to drugs or a whore someone feels oneitis for, but in this instance it's condoms.

We all live in the same world but our perspectives change wether we see this world as heaven or hell.
