Because the lawyer of a defendant is allowed to question and remove a large amount of jurors they see fit to. Typically a defense will always try and stack the jury with people most favorable to their defendant. The prosecution is also allowed to remove a small amount of jury members as well.

So in cases where you've got a Black man on trial for murder (i.e. OJ Simpson) the defense will stack the jury with Black defendants. When you've got a woman on trial, the defense will stack the jury with tons of women. Etc. etc.

Regardless, I guess women don't like women who make false rape accusations. After all, false rape accusers destroy the credibility of all women everywhere and make it next to impossible to identify when a true rape occurs.

Not in Scotland. In Scotland jurors names are put into a hat and selected randomly. Lawyers are not allowed to interfere in jury selection. Nobody is. Once you are selected for jury duty the only way you can get off it is illness or if you know the accused .

This may seem counter intuitive but if a man is falsely accused of rape and it goes to trial it is best to have as many women on the jury as possible because women are less sympathetic to other women whereas men are more protective and understanding. In this case she was charged with making false accusations of rape where it was clear the accused was absolutely incapable(due to being incarcerated) , women have no tolerance for lying bitches that trivialize rape for self serving reasons.
