Whenever I can I will sit down and watch a soap opera. Days of our lives or Bold and the Beauitful. I watch them because they are some cute women and a few game lessons here and there. My friends say it is a bitch move and it is weird. Even my fuck buddy says only homos watch soapies. What makes it so bad? Does anyone here watch soap operas?

I used to watch them when I was a young teen and my Grandma would baby sit me.
I tried to watch them when I would sit with my Grandma as a adult and I couldn't even... they are sooooooooo dramatic and cheesy and gay.... as I fear you may be to if you enjoy them
But..... I did end up watching The Bold and Beautiful to keep up with the beef between Steffy and Hope over Liam

Last time i watched a soap was when i was sick at home sometime in the late 90s with basic cable. Haven't watched a soap since.

I'd rather watch SVU on repeat.

Meh I don't watch 'em but if someone I respect/admire watched soap operas I wouldn't respect them any less for it. I think it's gay if you hide what you like because you're scared of what your people think.

BUT, a grown man calling his soap operas, "soapies" is kind of gay.

I used to watch Home and Away when I was a kid. My grandmother has watched Bold and the Beautiful for 30 years I guess, everyday she is still watching it...

I hope I dont get banned for starting the thread. But the girls on soap operas are pretty hot, Chloe and Sammy from Days of our Lives. That is the main reason I watch them.

I'm not a mod, but I don't think starting a thread like this is a ban-able offense. But I wouldn't be caught dead watching a soap.

If I caught my male buddy watching a soap, I'm going to throw his TV out the window, pour him a glass of scotch, put a cigar in his mouth, and light er up. Or I'm not going to let him live it down.

I can't understand this at all.

The only exception I can possibly contemplate would be watching the Latin American Telenovelas in order to improve your Spanish comprehension (while simultaneously looking at cute girls with big tits).

Haha I never watch soap operas. I've seen a couple on at various times but I have no idea what the story is so I have no desire to follow along. I watch for about 5 minutes, marvel at how poor the acting is and then turn on Judge Judy.

Not usually, but I found myself watching "Master's Sun" a few weeks ago. Kind of like Twin Peaks but with a duller plot.

I was mainly drawn in by Joo Joong-won's consistently dope outfits and callous personality. I was taking notes.
The series is practically a primer on negging, though hamstering spoils the last few episodes.
