Has Merkel and the like naused up Northern and Eastern Europe for guys that have a slightly 'ethnic', southern european, middle eastern look? I have the classic features of the region, dark eyes, olive skin. Could easily pass as Greek, Turkish, Italian, or heaven forbid Syrian...

Undoubtably places like Poland, Czech and the Baltics are experiencing huge rises in anti-immigration sentiment, quite rightly frankly, however this fuels a nationalistic and 'anti-outsider' outlook too. If you're classic white guy northern european, this wont be such an issue, but for others of more southern extraction it could be seriously detrimental...

Any thoughts?

Leave the cheap tracksuit/fake branded polo shirts at home and you'll be just fine.

The following story is based on true events

Woman flees from Somalia to Sweden and becomes a journalist.
She tells the story about islamist recruiters in sweden.
Woman gets terrorized by islamists.
Woman gets back-stabbed by the politically-correct swedish media.
Woman flees back to Somalia.

"This place is more dangerous than Mogadishu!"

Nationalism is a proven failure that rarely lasts more than 10 generations. Even the mightiest of nations, such as Rome, all die in obscurity and are forgotten by history. Hitler wouldn't have even known about Rome had the Christians not preserved its memory.

Saga:

Quote:Yet one can be strong and impious at once (China today), or weak and pious at once (Britain and most of Europe in 793).

China is a house of cards. The strength is illusionary and based on scamming the USA. If the USA stopped using Chinese slave labor their economy would fall apart.

As for the weak and pious - It is better to be pious and weak than strong and impious. The pious will last the test of time long enough to become strong and pious.

The pious survive, while those who are merely strong all up like Ozymandias.

Quote:Moreover, as dreambig already mentioned, Japan could quite easily defend herself, and is only hindered in this by the US-written constitution (and it should be noted that the impracticality of the article in question should have been obvious before the ink was dry...it's the geopolitical cognate of prohibition).

My point to Dreambig was that Japan would not be able to afford the same standards of living if they had to pay for their own military. So using Japan as an example of prosperity is a misleading example.

As for why they do not have a Military, that is because a Christian nation conquered them in self-defense and did not want them to have a military. I think the Japanese have changed tremendously since WW2 (no longer with primitive Emperor God worship) and I wouldn't be surprised to see America relax on Japan soon.

Quote:Strength is a virtue contrary to those promoted by the New Testament, which champions the weak. You lionize the strong, which I agree with, but it seems a statement diametrically opposed to the scripture you seek to defend.

Simply false. It seems you have read more Nietzche than the actual Bible. Let me break the news to you: Nietzsche's characterization of Christianity with "slave morality" is 100% bullshit contradicted by many, many, many passages within the good book.

Matthew 10:34:

Quote:Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

If Christ wanted us to be like slaves then why did he come to bring war?

2 Corinithians 7-10:

Quote:7 And to keep me from being too elated by the abundance of revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. 8 Three times I besought the Lord about this, that it should leave me; 9 but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Notice, the point about being weak is to please God and therefore be strong, because nothing is stronger than God. So the Christian man, while apparently weak, is actually the strongest because he has God behind him.

Elaborating further, we can understand the values of Christ to build strong communities and nations over time by not exalting any one member of the community over another. Hence, "Love thy neighbor as thyself," which unlike the Romans or pagans, prevents needless conflict and civil war.

Thus, the man who is weak but pious is doing much more for his community than the man who is strong, selfish, and impious, and ultimately sacrifices his community for his own gain.

There is no slavery here; men called for Christ are allowed to come voluntarily, promote kindness among their neighbors and not obsessed with being the "strongest," which is a laughable ideal because God is stronger than everyone put together.

Quote:Easily fewer than the wars within Christendom, especially during the Reformation and Counterreformation. That aside, Japan's civil wars were not fueled by Shinto zealotry but by political allegiances, instability and ambition...the customary ingredients of most internecine conflicts. In fact, the groups that can be said to have been motivated chiefly by religious conviction were Buddhist or Christian.

The vast, vast majority of wars within Christendom were over political allegiances, instability, and ambition.

The facts of the matter, however, were that the wars within Christendom never lead to the establishment of an absolute God Emperor dictator like it did in Japan (although the Pope came close, but the people revolted with Protestantism). So it is easy to see how Japan was rendered inferior due to the lack of God.

Quote:In other words, of all the causes of the civil wars, Shinto cannot rightly be said to be among them. Most non-monotheist religions exhibit relatively little (if any) intolerance and flammability.

Again, simply untrue. Those wars in Japan, without even having read the history of half of them myself, were obviously between men who were claiming their divine right as ruler of Japan. Just like it was in China. Perhaps it did not have as many as China, but given that Christian nations rarely fought each other over religion except during the reformation, I can't see how any other conclusion can be arrived at that Japan was impoverished by their lack of strong faith which caused them to ultimately self-destruct in insane wars of aggression during the 20th century.

Quote:Millions of good Christian men were ordered to do exactly that on the hellish battlefields of WWI. And unlike a large portion of those suicidal charges into machine gun fire, at least the kamikaze held some discernible tactical and strategic value.

Those men weren't charging in for the name of their King god, they did it for their neighbor, for glory, or for their country. Secular, not religious.

The men who charged battle lines in the name of Christ really only happened during Constantine the Great, the wars against Islam (1st Crusade and a few of Russia's wars included), and America's Manifest destiny.

Meanwhile, in Germany...

Germans Scramble To Buy Weapons Amid Nationwide Spike In Migrant-Driven Crime

Quote:The scramble to acquire weapons comes amid an indisputable nationwide spike in migrant-driven crime, including rapes of German women and girls on a shocking scale, as well as physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies and burglaries — in cities and towns throughout the country.

German authorities, however, are going to great lengths to argue that the German citizenry's sudden interest in self-defense has nothing whatsoever to do with mass migration into the country, despite ample evidence to the contrary.

The spike in violent crimes committed by migrants has been corroborated by a leaked confidential police report, which reveals that a record-breaking 38,000 asylum seekers were accused of committing crimes in the country in 2014. Analysts believe this figure — which works out to more than 100 crimes a day — is only a fragment: many crimes are not reported.

"Anyone who asks for the reasons for the surge in weapons purchases encounters silence." — Süddeutsche Zeitung

Germans, facing an influx of more than one million asylum seekers from Africa, Asia and the Middle East, are rushing to arm themselves.

All across Germany, a country with some of the most stringent gun-control laws in Europe, demand is skyrocketing for non-lethal self-defense weapons, including pepper sprays, gas pistols, flare guns, electroshock weapons and animal repellants. Germans are also applying for weapons permits in record numbers.

The scramble to acquire weapons comes amid a migrant-driven surge in violent crimes — including rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults — in cities and towns throughout the country.

German authorities, however, are going to great lengths to argue that the German citizenry's sudden interest in self-defense has nothing whatsoever to do with mass migration into the country, despite ample evidence to the contrary.

In recent weeks, German newspapers have published dozens of stories with headlines such as: "Germany is Afraid — And Grabs for the Weapon," "Germans are Arming Themselves: The Demand for Weapons Explodes," "More and More People are Buying a Weapon," "Security: Hands Up!" "The Need for Security Increases," "Boom in Weapons Stores," and "Bavarians are Arming Themselves— Afraid of Refugees?"

Quote:Since Germany's migration crisis exploded in August 2015, nationwide sales of pepper spray have jumped by 600%, according to the German newsmagazine, Focus. Supplies of the product are now completely sold out in many parts of the country and additional stocks will not become available until 2016. "Manufacturers and distributors say the huge influx of foreigners in recent weeks has apparently frightened many people," Focus reports.

According to KH Security, a German manufacturer of self-defense products, demand is up by a factor of five, and sales in September 2015 — the month when the implications of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's open-door migration policy began to dawn on many Germans — were the highest since the company was founded 25 years ago. The company says there is an increased demand not only for self-defense weapons, but also for home alarm systems.

Another manufacturer of self-defense products, the Frankfurt-based company DEF-TEC Defense Technology, has reported a 600% increase in sales this fall. According to CEO Kai Prase:

"Things took off beginning in September. Since then, our dealers have been totally overrun. We have never experienced anything like this in the 21 years of our corporate history. Fear: This is not rational. The important term is: 'refugee crisis.'"
The same story is being repeated across Germany. According to the public broadcaster, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, citizens in Saxony can regularly be seen queuing up in large numbers waiting for gun shops to open.

A store owner in the Saxon town of Pirna said he is now selling up to 200 cans of pepper spray each day, compared to five cans a week before the migrant crisis began. He said he is seeing many new customers who are not the typical clientele, including women of all ages and men who are buying weapons for their wives.

Günter Fritz, the owner of a gun shop in Ebersbach, another town in Saxony, told RTL News, "Since September, all over Germany, also at my shop, sales of self-defense products have exploded." He added that his clients come from all walks of life, ranging "from the professor to the retired lady. All are afraid."

Andreas Reinhardt, a gun shop owner in the northern German town of Eutin, said he now sells four to five self-defense weapons each day, compared to around two per month before the recent influx of asylum seekers. "The current social upheaval is clearly driving the current rush to self-defense," he said. "I never thought that fear would spread so quickly," he added.

Eric Thiel, the owner of a gun shop in Flensburg, a city on the Baltic Sea coast, said that pepper spray is no longer available: "Everything is sold out. New supplies will not arrive until March. Everything that has to do with self-defense is booming enormously."

Wolfgang Mayer, the owner of a gun shop in Nördlingen, a town in Bavaria, said he has an explanation for the surge in gun licenses: "I think with the influx of refugees, the rise in break-ins and the many tricksters, the people are demanding greater protection."

Mayer added that there is a growing sense within German society that the state cannot adequately protect its citizens and therefore they have to better protect themselves. "Since the summer, sales of pepper spray have increased by 50%," Mayer said, adding that buyers are mainly women, of all ages — from the student in the city up to the widowed grandmother.

Pepper spray and other types of non-lethal self-defense weapons are legal in Germany, but a permit is required to carry and use some categories of them. Officials in all of Germany's 16 federal states are reporting a spike in applications for such permits, known as the small weapons license (kleinen Waffenschein).

My predictions of millions of criminal victims within the a few years of the onset of the crisis is well underway of becoming true. If the truth is ever found out, I am sure most men will be disgusted with the total number of rapes. It may even exceed 1 million within Germany alone by the end of 2020, with tens of thousands women being raped more than once.

I am 100% confident the same things are happening in all Western European nations, wherever the migrants go.

Obviously, only the most brainwashed will continue to vote for migrant enrichment, so I expect to see the right to vote handed out to migrants within a year so the left can permanently control their elections.

First, Japan has a military already...they call it part of the police force, but it's a fictitious legal qualification...it's a military with everything that makes a military. We even have forum members here who've done military exercises with their military.

That aside, no one denies that a bigger military would cost something, but their standard of living would still far outstrip most of the world...including the very pious Christian populations of Latin America and Africa (which are easily more earnest in their religious convictions than almost all of Europe and many parts of the US). More pressingly, it would still see far fewer (if any) pockets of deep poverty and lawlessness that one sees in many areas of the US.

And on a tangent, the US would probably prefer to see Japan fully rearm but for the geopolitical effect it would have on the Pacific. South Korea, ROC, PRC, North Korea (the first two close allies, the third a huge trading partner and the last an unpredictable rogue state that no one in their right mind wants to provoke) would all object strongly, and could very well do more than merely object...if it wasn't for that then the US would probably have consented to complete Japanese rearmament back in the 1950's.

Matthew 10:34:

Quote:Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

If Christ wanted us to be like slaves then why did he come to bring war?

I did not cite Nietzsche, instead I pointed out that the Bible does take a tone that borders on pacifism. A few passages should be sufficient to illustrate this:

Matthew 5:39

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God

If Christ wanted to bring war, why would he bless those who stop war? If Christ wanted to bring war, why would he say to turn the other cheek?

It is an obvious and irreconcilable contradiction, which does more to highlight the inconsistent contents of the Bible (compiled and edited by human institutions, often motivated more by politics than by faith, over the centuries) than anything else.

More importantly, the New Testament constantly stresses the importance of meekness. The Sermon on the Mount is awash in it, as already seen. You yourself pointed it out in Corinthians:

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Hardly an homage to the virtue of strength, it is a eulogy to the "virtue" of weakness. This does not constitute a critique, I make no claim other than the observation of what it is.

Quote:Notice, the point about being weak is to please God and therefore be strong, because nothing is stronger than God. So the Christian man, while apparently weak, is actually the strongest because he has God behind him.

This interpretation, while still something of a logical leap, seems to be quite an explanation for the approach that's ripped Christendom apart on many occasions.

Once a religion views itself the only one with God behind it, and is then unable to perceive other traditions and rituals as anything but false (and therefore a threat), it gives itself the ability to create hell in this world in the name of paradise in the next. The brutality leveled against the pagans, then the Arians, then the Waldensians, then the Albigensians, then the Protestants by the Catholics and the Catholics by the Protestants, then the Quakers (several of whom were hanged in the "city on the hill" of Puritan Boston in 1660 simply for being Quaker)...and so on and so on...proves this.

It comes from a monotheist predilection to seek supremacy. These wars and persecutions were not some Baroque oddity but rather a committed pattern of violence, conflict and upheaval based on religious orthodoxy. Even the 100 Years War, which started over dynastic squabbles, turned into a holy conflict when the French claimant to the crown found its champion in Joan of Arc, who claimed that God himself wanted the English out of France.

Quote:Elaborating further, we can understand the values of Christ to build strong communities and nations over time by not exalting any one member of the community over another. Hence, "Love thy neighbor as thyself," which unlike the Romans or pagans, prevents needless conflict and civil war.

There is no slavery here; men called for Christ are allowed to come voluntarily, promote kindness among their neighbors and not obsessed with being the "strongest," which is a laughable ideal because God is stronger than everyone put together.

Only when you account for the superior neighborliness of the Japanese, and the unprecedented peace of the "heathen" Pax Romana, and the infighting typical of Christian Europe...can you attempt such sweeping conclusions.

Secondly, it is precisely the "turn the cheek" Christian ethos that has allowed Europe to fall to its knees in the face of millions of smartphone-wielding, sob-story peddling migrants. The pagan legions of Rome would have never for an instant countenanced such fecklessness: to violate Roman territory was an affront to the gods.

By the way, despite this, I feel that Christianity is an important civilizational basis for the west, and that it should be strengthened in the west...but we should still be forthright about what it is and the tendencies it often encourages.

Quote:The vast, vast majority of wars within Christendom were over political allegiances, instability, and ambition.

I don't disagree, but they were also fueled by religious conviction and no history of the conflicts can be complete without giving faith a central role. The Reformation and Counterreformation were not idle tokens of religiosity, they involved a great deal of zealotry not only as their raison d'etre but also as a constant source of motivation for their followers.

There is no Shinto equivalent for the 30 Years War. Do you take this as a sign of primitiveness?

Quote:The facts of the matter, however, were that the wars within Christendom never lead to the establishment of an absolute God Emperor dictator like it did in Japan (although the Pope came close, but the people revolted with Protestantism). So it is easy to see how Japan was rendered inferior due to the lack of God.

Japanese history disproves your notion, for the emperors were all but powerless figures during the Sengoku Era (the civil war) and the resulting Tokugawa Shogunate...which means almost 4 centuries in which your thesis of a "God Emperor dictator" simply didn't exist. It was paradoxically modernization along the lines of European government that brought the imperial family into its position of acting (rather than symbolic) head of state.

Quote:Again, simply untrue. Those wars in Japan, without even having read the history of half of them myself, were obviously between men who were claiming their divine right as ruler of Japan. Just like it was in China. They didn't claim to be ruler of Japan, they claimed power in the name of the emperor, whom they wished to use (and then did use) as a puppet. Further, Shinto orthodoxy wasn't particularly among their arguments as to why they deserved power.

It was, of course, during precisely this period that the Franciscans were destroying Shinto shrines and attempting to eradicate all non-Catholic religious existence on the islands (Theodosius rides again, if you will). It cannot be considered a mere coincidence that Shinto and Buddhism had been able to coexist without such serious disturbances for centuries...yet Christianity's arrival inevitably brought holy intolerance. It should also be noted that Immanuel Kant saw the subsequent ejection of Catholicism from Japan as a wise action, since he appreciated the extent to which Christianity threatened the social order of that country.

Yet you claim that the most intolerant religion (by some distance), the one least capable of carrying itself in a civil manner, was the civilized one and the others not. Strange.

Finally, the fact that you point to a feudal civil war and a modern transcontinental war about 350 years later means your arguments lose their coherence. If Japan was, as you say, fated by its "primitive religion" to tear itself apart endlessly, why the hundreds of years of internal tranquil?

On the other hand, the development that most halted the European wars of religion (which, as I've already shown, were not at all limited to the Reformation) was secularization...because peace between competing Christian sects demands the introduction of a new ideological basis, since the doctrine itself has little basis for it.

Quote:Those men weren't charging in for the name of their King god, they did it for their neighbor, for glory, or for their country. Secular, not religious.

Not so. The Church of England was extraordinarily active in painting the conflict as a holy one, in which Englishmen supposedly had to fight in order to save Christian civilization from "German barbarism". Likewise, Irish Catholics charged across no man's land to save the honor of fellow Catholic Belgium, and Russians fell on the eastern front to save the honor of fellow Orthodox Serbia.

Peter Hitchens, one of the most articulate Christian voices in modern times, has spoken and written extensively on how Christian authorities betrayed their congregations in misleading them about supposed Christian justifications for the war; he's also noted the long-term effect it had in the collapse of Christianity throughout the western world since.

Quote:The men who charged battle lines in the name of Christ really only happened during Constantine the Great, the wars against Islam (1st Crusade and a few of Russia's wars included), and America's Manifest destiny.

This is the same thing that is happening in our schools with Leftism. Children are growing up believing in values they perceive as metaphysical, and all their thinking is done with reference to these values. Because 'equality' is an a priori good to them, they are unable to effectively question the validity of that truth.

Off topic but on the Deep Forum there was a thread about beliefs you had changed your mind on and for me I would say the biggest change in belief I've had over the last few years is my views on "equality". I do still believe that there is such thing as human worth and that simply by being human you have a certain value but what that value entails is what is super confusing for me at this point. I started a thread called "Helping those in poverty while rejecting socialism/equalism" a while ago and it reflects the conflict that's been going through my mind for a long time now. On the one hand I don't want to abandon people to the law of the jungle but on the other I also despise all the rampant SJWism that praises weakness and decadence...I do think we shouldn't kick people who are down and torment those who are weak but at the same time I also hate it when people can't call a spade a spade and say "this is a bad thing". If doing something or possessing a certain habit or trait is hurting them it is even more harmful to them to pretend there's no problem or even view their flaw as a boon of some sort.

And the point you made about how all this equalism/SJW stuff has been drilled into us to the point of them being a priori unquestioned truths is dead on. Since we were kids we've had these values taught to us so we just assume it's true without examining why exactly it's valid. That's something that I've really realized in the last few years with this forum being a big catalyst in that. A lot of who were born in the 80s and on grew up with a lot of media and messages that kept drilling the mantra the we're all special and that pointing out someone's flaws should never be done because it's bullying and mean or cruel. Growing up we had Disney movies, after-school sitcom specials and now there's Buzzfeed and social media junk telling us repeatably that any form of excluding someone is bad and that any sort of generalizing is inherently bad if it involves people even though a big part of reasoning and being able to draw general conclusions from inductive data and repeated experience. It's why our generation is so prone to all these Tumblr/SJW nonsensel it's cause we have been mentally prepared to accept it all by the mass media around us. I remember talking to a this woman who is 49 who teaches at a dance studio and she recalled a story about how her students who are around middle school age got offended when she asked them to sit down "Indian style". There is a HUGE gap when it comes to PCness between our generation and the one just right before ours and I can't help but think that the biggest reason for this was due to the different media we consumed.

To relate this back to the topic at hand so I don't end up taking things completely off rails, this is the primary reason so many people can't face basic realities why it comes to discussing the massive migration to Europe. Our generation has been taught from birth that racism, sexism, or any sorts of -isms or phobia is the greatest evil someone can participate in. I'm not talking about crimes against a minority group but just simply pointing out that x group tend to have more of a certain characteristic or is prone to a certain type of behavior then other non-x groups is seen as the equivalent of a hate crime. The sort of "education" and upbringing is literally retarding our reasoning ability when it comes to drawing inferences from experience and data. People who would have no issue with say a psychology study that attempts to look for certain common mental features of a generic human will all of a sudden turn their brains off when such a study instead targets certain groups of humans and go off with the equivalent version of AWALT and will start insisting that there are only individual cases and that it is not only unscientific but even immoral to try and look for connections between the individual cases.

Samseau - Germany will not reach 1 million rapes per year ever because it has what the US, Canada and Sweden don't have - rampant cheap brothels. You can even find the occasional young pretty girl to fuck for 30-50 EUR. The smaller towns with massive populations may be impacted more, but it will not reach Sweden's scale, where prostitution is as good as illegal and anyone with money does seekingarrangement.com while the poor man is not getting much.

Any country that legalizes prostitution instantly observes two things - dramatic fall in rape (as observed in Rhode Island where they experimented briefly with legalization) and a sharp fall in prices. Sweden however - you are right - they will surpass African countries soon and will become the rape country in the entire world if they continue with this madness.

Here Sargon of Akkad's latest vid on Sweden's rape crisis:

And of course POTUS Hussein from Indonesia cannot wait to partake in the migration bonanza - since the US is hard to reach by rubber boats, they simply upped the numbers for "Syrian refugees". You will be happy to know that 300.000+ are going to reach US cities in order to enrich Americans:

For those who understand German or want to watch with subtitles there is a nice little discussion from German TV:

It's about murder in the name of Islam. Note that the Islam critic is from Pakistan - quite pretty - and converted to Christianity while her main counter-opponent is a convert woman from Germany. Again the mental masturbation shown is massive. The Pakistani Islam critic is only moving about her business with police protection, since she helps women in Europe who want to flee their families due to forced marriage, honor killing threats etc.

She makes quite a few arguments that are utterly twisted by the apologists.

In my opinion they should clearly acknowledge that Islam is a religion of war and conquest. This is nothing automatically bad - the Vikings and their Norse religion was a path designed for glorification of war and conquest. Their gods were warriors, their heaven Valhalla was mostly reserved for warriors dying in battle and even their rituals were war-like. Their faith certainly contributed to them conquering almost the entire British Islands once and sacking many cities and countries in Europe.

I wish Muslims would be more honest and just state that - yes - Islam is a religion of war. But then again - only fools would accept large numbers of Muslim immigrants into a country and leave them unsupervised. And they are certainly not powerful, advanced and strong enough to wage open war against the West and the East. Any Western country or even Korea or Japan alone could defeat the entire Muslim world. Germany can easily produce tanks and jets instead of Audis and Japan can do the same in record time. I fear this conflict will the truly the last of the world wars and it will be the most bloody.

And for those of you who think that Christianity will lead the way - yes - that might happen indeed, but the end-result will be different. The global elite wants to eradicate all religions and as the Western countries unite under Christianity to battle the Muslim world, so will the millions or billions of dead be used to later ban those religions - because they seemingly brought so much death upon Earth. It's one heck of a setup.

And here a nice short report about a Somali journalist living in Sweden who reported about Somalis recruiting for terrorist organizations in Sweden. To her surprise and shock not only was she threatened by the Muslim community, but also by the Swedish media. She thinks that Sweden is dangerous because there you cannot speak the truth - "It's too sensitive" or "We cannot report on that or Swedish Democrats will get more votes".

Ay - Sweden will surpass Mogadishu in some statistics for sure.

I would love for one bloody European country to test it out and for example replace all the native Swedes with Somalis and see how this works out and the place looks like in 5-10 years. I am sure it would be a beacon of diversity, prosperity and technological advancement.

Ah well - we only have to wait some 2 decades to see it in Sweden.

I'm not for white knighting in the red pill sense, but when your kin is getting rapped and beaten by invaders in your own streets, men should be in the streets en masse putting an end to the situation. Maybe that day will come and maybe it wont, but we are certainly headed towards a breaking point.

Lech Wałęsa (of Solidarity Fame, and President of Poland 1990-1995) on the migrant crisis.

Lech Wałęsa Wrote:I understand why Poland and Europe fear their influx... They arrive from places where people are beheaded. We are worried that the same will happen to us.

We in Poland have small flats, low salaries and meager pensions. Watching the refugees on television, I noticed that they look better than us. They are well fed, well dressed and maybe even are richer than we are.

I do understand them. We Poles also were immigrants and refugees during communism. But wherever we went, we respected the local culture and laws. These immigrants are different. Even second or third generations – look at France, for example – who got good education and made money still turned against the host countries.

I was offered by the Communist regime to leave Poland and become a refugee. I declined. I stayed on to fight for what I believed in. It’s true that part of the new refugees and immigrants leave because they fear for their life. But many also immigrate to improve their standards of living and quality of life.

It’s a problem. If Europe opens its gates, soon millions will come through and while living among us will start exercising their own customs, including beheading.

It's not a monotheist predilection alone to seek supremacy. It's a human predilection to seek simplicity and supremacy alike. What does bring on an instinct for supremacy is when mankind thinks it's found a universal, immutable, objective truth. This lies at the heart of fedora atheism and what I call scientism alike: the idea that the person is in receipt of a universally-applicable truth. When a person takes up this idea, anyone who has a different idea or declines the idea is therefore either misguided or deliberately evil, with no shades of opposition otherwise possible. Look at Communist regimes; even science (Lysenkoism) was suborned by the belief in the universal, immutable "truth" of Marxism. Feminism, particularly radical feminism coupled with gender equality arguments, is another such example.

It is also a popular point of view in our time period because we live in a fundamentally narcissistic society, one where vast swathes of people find it hard at a fundamental level to believe other people are real, let alone a God transcendent or otherwise who might or might not agree on your belief that there was something around before the Big Bang.

Religion -- in particular monotheistic religion, it's hard to tell whether the polytheistic ones had it -- had a vital salve and smoothing element to this tendency in prior generations: while there were hard-edged theological elements in the major religions, there was always a strong current of mysticism running through Christianity, and a strong theological school that God was transcendent and it was difficult if not impossible to tell anything about him/her/it: the notion of an ineffable God. While I think Neil Gaiman is a leftie tosser, in his book Good Omens does contain a pretty nice take on ineffability and the impossibility of knowing The Divine Plan or God generally right towards the end - those of you who've read the book will probably know the section I'm talking about.

Even Thomas Aquinas, one of the earliest logical doctors of the Church, has elements of what is known as apophatic theology - the practice of trying to have a sense of God by reasoning what he was not. The point of the exercise was not to arrive at any concrete idea of God -- quite the opposite, it was to arrive at a realisation of how useless language and logic were to describe a being, or force, or emotion, or thing that both created the entire universe in under a Planck second.

This way of thinking about God has more or less disappeared out of western Christianity (from roughly Isaac Newton's time) and it shows it some of the more crusty elements of current religious thought: creationism, for one, which would have had St. Augustine tearing his beard out in frustration given what he wrote about the need for religion to keep pace with science.

Not likely. The plans of what the English were going to do in the event of a ground invasion were brutal. Included things such as murdering anyone captured, even their officers.

Moreover the British Empire was fighting the entire Axis and even had battles with the Soviet Union.

Augustine of Hippo, in particular, De Genesi ad Litteram:

Quote:Usually, even a non-Christian knows something about the earth, the heavens, and the other elements of this world, about the motion and orbit of the stars and even their size and relative positions, about the predictable eclipses of the sun and moon, the cycles of the years and the seasons, about the kinds of animals, shrubs, stones, and so forth, and this knowledge he holds to as being certain from reason and experience. Now, it is a disgraceful and dangerous thing for an infidel to hear a Christian, presumably giving the meaning of Holy Scripture, talking nonsense on these topics; and we should take all means to prevent such an embarrassing situation, in which people show up vast ignorance in a Christian and laugh it to scorn. The shame is not so much that an ignorant individual is derided, but that people outside the household of faith think our sacred writers held such opinions, and, to the great loss of those for whose salvation we toil, the writers of our Scripture are criticized and rejected as unlearned men. If they find a Christian mistaken in a field which they themselves know well and hear him maintaining his foolish opinions about our books, how are they going to believe those books in matters concerning the resurrection of the dead, the hope of eternal life, and the kingdom of heaven, when they think their pages are full of falsehoods and on facts which they themselves have learnt from experience and the light of reason? Reckless and incompetent expounders of Holy Scripture bring untold trouble and sorrow on their wiser brethren when they are caught in one of their mischievous false opinions and are taken to task by those who are not bound by the authority of our sacred books. For then, to defend their utterly foolish and obviously untrue statements, they will try to call upon Holy Scripture for proof and even recite from memory many passages which they think support their position, although they understand neither what they say nor the things about which they make assertion.

If anyone thinks Sweden genuinely has 1 million rapes I can put those fears to rest: Sweden counts rape differently. It greatly inflates the number as a result.

But immigrants are more rape-prone all the same. Danish statistics confirm this. There's a lot of rot in that country but Sweden is not Congo-tier, yet.

As for Sargon, I do appreciate that he has figured out that liberal society cannot exist without keeping out those who violate the liberal ethic. He is against mass immigration unlike absurdly autistic liberals and libertarians.

However his appearance on a stream with Right Wingers was not so stellar (although entirely not his fault). So there is ultimately some residual left wing moralism to him.

If anyone cares to understand what happened, I wrote a response to him (with the stream linked).

I have literally no idea what you are talking about. Asia is safer and has lower crime rates even in the poorer countries. Japan has always been practically crime-free and safe, long before it became rich. The most Christian nation on the continent (The Philippines) represents South America more than Asia and has the rampant violent crime to show for it.

I think that the correlation is obvious. Higher IQ rates, Confucian values and Buddhist heritage all seem to lead to far more harmonious societies than Christian or Islamic ones.

Thanks Horus, it's another excellent, thought provoking video from Stefan.

On another semi-related point, I came across this clip today, by a Muslim woman who's trying to highlight how political correctness among liberals and our political leaders is allowing radical Islam to flourish.
As the woman is herself Muslim, liberals and SJWs cannot cry "Racist!" or "Islamaphobe!" without revealing themselves as both retarded and complete hypocrites.
I've said it before but it's worth repeating that such videos are probably the best way to try and stir some pre-frontal cortex activity among friends and colleagues on social media and help people to slowly wake up to reality rather than believing the propaganda they're fed by MSM and academia.
I realise now that I went a bit too gung-ho on social media and alienated some people that might have been more open to my ideas had I presented a video like this one, rather than some alt-right videos with ominious music of Muslims rioting and how they were going to destroy the West forever and rape and pillage our countries. I'm not saying that's not true but the average millennial is not going to respond well to that, while there's a better chance of something like this having a positive effect.

The discussions here about the merits of religions as a civilizing factor miss one important point.

What matters the most is how the social consciousness of said group is being formed.

As social consciousness I call the entirety of the general ethics of the group that is comprised of peer pressure, monkey-see-monkey-do attitudes, religion, education, entertainment etc. Even atheists are subjected to the current social consciousness of a society they live in.

Social consciousness of a group is a great force that shapes our actions and one wise man once said, that if you ripped that force away from society then you would find out how little spirituality is within most humans. Yes - about 5% of mankind maybe has some high awareness and consciousness so that they could find their inner ethical compass on their own. Coincidentally those are the 5% of children that were found to be acting ethical in communist Eastern German experiments on children when totally leaving them to do anything. The other 95% of humans on Earth require a solid code of ethics, discipline and structure.

Whether that structure is given via religion, society, confucian set of ethics or even humanitarian atheist set of ethics is irrelevant here. All of it shapes the actions of everyday man so that society knows that for example murder, stealing or rape is wrong. In older times that social consciousness also restrained the actions of women. That social pressure usually deterred most women from making foolish decisions, becoming a fallen woman so to say. Western culture had no need of cladding women in tents, totally restricting their freedom or genitally mutilating them in order for them to not feel any pleasure (which limits their chances of fucking the neighbor).

Others here see that atheism can be problematic and that is true also. However it's not so much based on the fact that there cannot be atheists who are highly ethical or even spiritual. It's more that the global elite wants to push aside all factors that shape social consciousness, because THEY WANT TO BE IN CHARGE OF THAT. When religion is gone, then they are going to shape your mind fully - they already control academia, politics, entertainment and the media. They only need to sweep aside all religions and then they can tell the next generation that killing grandma because she is 65 is all fine or whatever eugenical mass-murdering crap they come up with.

On the topic of social consciousness of religions - not all religions teach the same set of ethics. Christianity is originally peaceful and values all life. Some other religions don't since they are focused on promoting their own group above all others. Islam as a religion that has in addition shaped the social consciousness of their people having created some customs which are not even written in the Quran, but they ultimately shape their entire behavior. Their system of control of women is utterly mind-numbingly repressive and the general perception of women and their sexuality is not Red Pill - it is rather dark evil Black Pill. It breeds a variety of perversions like sex with men (Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, almost anywhere), pedophilia, incest or inbreeding (as they often don't have contact with many women beside their family).

Also I personally think that clothing all women under tents and restricting the sexual freedom of all women (even the naturally promiscuous one who don't need to be "reputable" women) creates incredible sexual frustration among men. Think about it - every Western teenager from early on sees girls all around him - sometimes he interacts with them or sometimes he just marvels at their teenage beauty. Usually most men don't start to fuck girls around age 14-15, but they sure jerk off to their classmates. Later on they interact more and get laid.

For Muslim societies this stark seperation between the genders breeds a system where you cannot jerk off to a set of eyes you see behind the Niqab. Also often women are viewed as filthy and impure - that again cannot help. Never mind the fact that women clad non-stop in wide tents probably don't take care of their bodies anywhere as well as ones who show them to the world at least partly. (I know US and British girls are proud to show their fat-rolls, but that is another point altogether.)

So personally I think that a social consciousness which gives the utmost freedom, but a certain rulebook for both genders is the most beneficial. We don't need to restrict or force our women to start behaving again.
If the globalist leaders are deposed and a different rulership is in place then other memes can start being pushed again in academia, media and entertainment. Women are very pliable and most will conform to the prevalent social consciousness - marry early on, have kids and try to keep the notch counts low. The few sluts will always want to fuck around, but they also fulfill an important role in society and I wouldn't want to restrict their freedom either, because that kind of control takes ultimately freedom away from myself.

Such a society is by far more preferable than one created by terror, honor killings (or crimes of passion as some apologists here have called it) and enforced fashion that hides the beauty of women as something sinful.

I personally see women and the esthetics they bring to the world as something wonderful to behold. Even if you are 90 you can take joy in looking at a pretty young girl. Beauty comes in many ways and female beauty should be seen and not cast in blackness.

And another point - social consciousness can move up and down in terms of ethics - sometimes it may be more positive and sometimes more negative (sometimes much more negative) - it is always in flux. It depends on us in which direction it goes.
