Tampa area or 2nd tier cities down south
Greetings gentlemen. I'll keep this brief in the interest of your time. Do you guys like the Tampa area? With globalization happening so rapidly day 2 day it feels sometimes like it doesnt even matter at this point to splurge 900 on an international ticket when we might have goldmines surrounding us. What about some other hidden gems down there? Iv'e had good success in miami but you know how it is there but I hear ft. lauderdale is certainly worth a look and is coming up rapidly. I have never been to Jacksonville and it certainly looks sketch in some areas but I guess they are getting that new transit system?

Anyway im still checking prices to S.E.A. often and anyone who has not downloaded the app "skip lagged" should do so. The guy who made it got sued and won the case and it just shows cheaper flights that you can hop on the connections of. Just beware to not bring luggage but if your like me, you travel super light. Other than that it is fucking amazing. I have never been to SEA or EE but certainly the slavic look and the safeness and easyness of Poland is alluring. Bogata and or Cali also seems enticing. I know you should never expect to land in Columbia and start slaying instantly. That pussy takes work and dedication anywhere.

Anyone who would like to chime in feel free

Your post is all over the place, are you looking to vacation or relocate to these places? You mention one city in the US, then go onto list SEA, EE and Colombia, so which is it? I'm flying to Tampa tomorrow then Bogota at the end of the month, yes, I like both places but they're totally different.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

Your right, I apologize. Iv'e been a bit brain mushed from environmental factors combined with a dry streak in the mid-west lately. I am envious of your trips coming up tomorrow. I would say for an extended stay rather than a "week vacay" to any of the places as I think there is a consensus a week anywhere does not give you an accurate depiction of the boots on the ground. I would love for you to elaborate on tampa since there isnt a ton of intel on it and/or any area around the bay all the way to lauderdale. I have heard on the forum "it is like shooting fish in a barrel" in certain parts of the city on a saturday night... would you agree? Do you need to be one of these meatheads I see in a lot of the pictures of tampa? I am well built but not quite on that level. If you had to pick between bogata and south florida in terms of ease and maybe a LTR would you just pick south florida?

I can't speak much for gaming in the Tampa area as I haven't hooked up with any women there, I just go there to spend Xmas with family and get drunk with El Mechanico. I can say that the women and people in general are very friendly and laid back, its a nice city and there's lots of things to do, especially water related (fishing, wind sailing, kayaking, etc) plus there's the pro sports teams, I go to NHL games there for a fraction of the price I would pay in Canada. Overall, I always have fun in Florida but after a couple of weeks I'd get bored. As far as it compares to Colombia, its like comparing apples and oranges, they are very different, Colombia is a third world shit shit hole, Tampa isn't (well maybe Pasco county is). Fortunately, you can fly to Medellin or Bogota from Florida for cheap, $300-400 so I would suggest hitting up both, maybe 1-2 weeks in Florida then 1-2 weeks in Colombia to see what suits you best.

Excellent idea. Thank you for your elaboration Scotian. Enjoy your trip starting tomorrow! Report your experience back soon

Scotian when are you going to be back in the Tampa area again? I'll be moving back there fairly soon for a few months.
