One approach alone gets you nowhere. You can't get good at anything doing rep a day. Generally a newbie needs at least 5 approaches to warm up socially. Ten approaches per session is a good number because repetition is key and you're likely to get at least one positive response, and those are important for a newbie in order to not burn out from all the blowouts.

When I was new to cold approaches I would just shoot for one legitimate approach a day, usually a few more if I was in the mood, but at least the one was a task; I couldn't go home until I got a number.
If we're talking about someone entirely new to game, one approach a day, for your first month, is an attainable goal. If you're comfortable doing 5 a day this will speed up the process, I was just a pansy when I was starting out.

I live in the real world. I have great game, am good looking etc...but you know when I've done my best in terms of strictly hitting on 8-10s?

Is when I rolled with a married buddy of mine a year ago who, we would strike up a convo, and he would tell them I'm a millionaire (insert profession). Panties fucking drop. And I would hardly say a word.

At the end of the day, I think what's lost, is guys overanalyze shit, GIRLS ARE FUCKING SIMPLE. And overthinking things, and over pressuring yourself, just isn't a good thing.

Game should be fun. Flirting is supposed to be FUN. If you are starting out and not having fun, partying with some whores, and having sex with girls of your dreams, this is not a negative for a newbie.

It takes girls off the pedestal. It gives him experience being dominant with a great looking girl. No, I don't think it will addict a newbie to p4p.

P4p is impossible to sustain anyway. It's too expensive, and whores in the USA are disgusting, so if you live in the USA like I do, it's ridiculous to say there is risk of guys just getting into p4p when all the best pussy in the US, your going to have to game. [/b]

I respect the disagreements others have posited, but I maintain my advice is better than blowing your money on a coke addict so you can watch him get drunk and fuck a club slut.

Partial credit to the movie "Risky Business" for this idea. Great movie if you haven't seen it.

Agree with WIA, the crux of it is getting over the fear of approach.

P4P might help, might not.
Professional help might work, might not.
Meeting up with respected forum members might work, might not.

Going out and approaching will definitely work...but then, that's the problem isn't it.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

Buy Day Bang by Roosh, and get to it. The rest of the money is just bonus.

If you're just starting to learn game and you find yourself about to buy something more expensive than a $10 ebook, stop and look at yourself.

Approaching is free. Learning game is one of the cheapest forms of self improvement, you don't need any equipment.

To any newbies about to go buy some expensive coaching service, ask yourself if you really need it, or if you're just trying to find an alternative to putting in the work of approaching over and over again.

As a serious reply, if you were going to invest ~$1,000 in yourself for game improvement purposes, here's what to spend that $1,000 on (in America):

-Roosh's Bang and Day Bang, and Mike's Gorilla Mindset
-A gym membership (pick the closet one to your place)
-A few sets of nice clothes that fit you, including a suit (if you don't have one) with tailoring (don't skip this)
-A pair of nice men's shoes
-(maybe) a cleaning lady if your place is rank, way easier than suffering through it yourself
-A basic knife, frying pan and crock pot (as per MikeCF's male cooking advice)
-ONE quality bottle of alcohol to have around for sipping and to show you have taste (quality, not nuts: Johnny Black, Bulleit, Absolut, a flavored Stoli)
-A "freedom item" - an experience that's worth the money; a concert, a day skiing, round of golf, something

DON'T spend it on:
-Cover charges for clubs (give twenties to bouncers though if you want to get in good at a place you already go to)
-Game seminars/boot camps
-Hookers
-Rims for your ride or any other ostentatious bling
-Designer labels not worth the price (do the clothes fit and not look tacky? Done)
-More than a basic collection of books and DVDs (get that shit at the library, it's fucking free in every community in America)
-Extensive cable packages
-Eating out/ordering in too much

When I was writing a lot in the old Manosphere, I would laugh like hell at the people who were "debunking the seduction community" (such as it was) claiming it was all a big ponzi-scheme ripoff; Roosh sells books for $10 and runs a free blog and forum, Roissy's site was/is totally free and open, anyone paying hundreds/thousands for these seminars is just paying someone to push them off the diving board because they don't want to approach (for free) by themselves.

Exception: my boy went to Krauser's live training in America and said it was worth it. But Krauser's a long-standing pro at the social game.
