Need advice: Place to stay in Buenos Aires
Hi guys!

I am heading to Buenos Aires in a couple of weeks and will be staying for some time there. I have two options of accommodation there and I have hard time choosing between them. To make things worse that's going to be my first trip to Argentina and I have never seen the city before.

One in located in Palermo Soho, just on plaza Serrano. The other one is in Palermo Hollywood. Like 10-15 minutes walk from the first one. Both are really cool apartments. The one in Palermo Hollywood is just a little bit nicer, since it has a private terrace on the roof overlooking the city. But also I would really like to be more in center of action.

So, the question is, what would you choose, my more experienced fellas for going out at night and to bring back girls?

All advices are greatly appreciated

I just got back from there and stayed in Soho. If you can deal with the noise, then do the one by the plaza as that's very central to the action. What are the cross streets for the other one? I'll let you know if that's a good location as Hollywood can vary a lot in that regard.

I'd choose the one by Plaza Serrano, all else being equal. Much more going on there.

The first one is located around crossing of Nicaragua and Fitz Roy. I like it a bit better, so for me the question is if it is worth sacrificing some small, but nice to have things things, like private roof terrace and bigger windows for the location.

Dude, I'd go for the one with the terrace. However, if you could post links to what you will be renting or the streets crossing, the better.
None is really central if you want to be close to the Downtown Buenos Aires but the transportation system is good so no worries there.

It all comes down to what you like, want, set your expectations. You cannot miss this one, both will be great no matter what you choose, so if you think private terrace will make you feel like on top of the world, go for that one. I'd personally pick the Palermo Hollywood one because I am a bit kinky and a terrace is ideal for hot insane all out fuck, and if the world sees you, the better Smile

Cheers mate

ogogizm, as a local, i recomend you the Palermo Hollywood apartment. Serrano square can get really noisy at night, and the distance is negible, its a 5 minutes cab trip from the action.

You can easily walk to Plaza Serrano from the Hollywood one and Fitz Roy is one of the main party streets there. Go with that one.
