The truth of these accusations aside, the most amusing aspect of all this is knowing a feminist icon fell from grace. In the worst possible way.

Back when Deen was being touted as feminist hero at Jezebel and elsewhere, I wanted to create a mash-up video, interspersing his violent porn scenes with quotes from feminists about him. But I felt that wouldn't be a good use of my time, plus I found his porn repulsive.

This deranged witch hunt concerns all of us. In a world where to be accused is to be convicted -- at least in the court of public opinion, which is enough to cause a man to lose his reputation and livelihood -- no one is safe. To pretend that this is none of our business simply because the latest victim of the witch hunt happens to himself be complicit in the ideology that drives it is short-sighted in the extreme.

Understand this: the women who are spreading these false accusations are delighting in evil for its own sake. They are attempting to destroy a man's life, in large part, simply because they can. I don't know what could be more chilling and sinister than that.

It wouldn't matter whether he was a racist or a Jew or a member of Crazy Manuel's Mariarchi Band. The real target of the SJW crowd is the presumption of innocence.

The amusing part being that were the presumption of innocence to be removed, as SJWs constantly campaign gor, it would likely cause rape cases to go through the roof, mainly because of John Adams' famous formulation for what a virtuous man thinks when he is presumed guilty: "It matters not whether I keep to the law, for virtue itself is no refuge." That is, if you're going to be presumed guilty of something, there's no point whatsoever in obeying the law since innocence itself cannot help you.

Fortis, there are different ways of "standing behind" someone. You don't need to be this guy's friend, or introduce him to your sister (even if she might not mind in this case, LOL).

But every decent man should stand behind another man who has been falsely accused. First, because it's the right thing to do, in and of itself; and second, because this disgusting witch hunt will go on and claim more victims, and not all of them will be male feminists.

What should make this case particularly disturbing is that the accusations, even more than usually, are patently absurd on their face. These slanderous whores are basically claiming to have been "raped" in front of witnesses in the midst of a large and crowded porn set.

In the normal course of events, such evident absurdities would be dismissed with a shrug and never given another thought. But the current climate has become so insane that the mere utterance of the words "rape" and "sexual assault" has a magical effect. Once the words have been uttered, nothing else matters, and the wheels of the terrible machine start turning.

The logic of the proceedings is literally no different from that of the Salem witch hunt. Then it was be enough to utter the word "witch"; now, it's enough to utter the word "rape". From that point on, things proceed on their own. The only difference -- and granted, it's a very big one -- is that today no one is being burned at the stake. But men's reputations and livelihoods are being destroyed, and that is something that concerns all of us, because no one is safe from this evil.

We now live in an age of extreme social-stratification where privileged, comfortable women are isolated from true hardship in their lives: this is where Sensibility flourishes.
