On a side note, these aren't really boots, but they're similar. They have the boot style, but the convenience of a typical shoe by having a short heel. If you're wearing long pants, most people won't notice the difference. I pair these with a leather jacket and v neck tee if I'm looking to give off an edgy look.

The rule of thumb is to show up as advertised. So if a guy is going to say he's 3" taller than he should at least have the common curiosity to wear boots and inserts that make him 3" taller. Those are the guys who get called on it right away and waste both parties time. This is especially obvious when the girl wears 4" heels and is half a foot taller than the guy. I've never gotten pussy off online game but hooked up multiple times through day game. Girls who are online dating have a mentality of commoditizing you. From a biz perspective, it makes more sense to hunt offline and find hotter chicks where you will stand out.

At 5'4 I wholeheartedly co-sign this. I've only worn boots since discovering game. Not to mention that I find boots much more masculine than dress shoes. Inserts are a must. I got a few off amazon and they are actually really comfortable to wear. Boost me up about 3' total. No idea how you guys got up to 4' that's a lot.

Dont worry when the shoes come off. She should already be in your bed by then. Plus most bitches are on fucking totem pole high heel so they wouldnt tell the difference.

The tricky thing is HOW to wear boots. I find that I cant roll my pants up as per the "cool" way to wear boot as it breaks the vertical line and create a horizontal line, thus making you look shorter.

Then again a few inches more only help if you are alone with the girl. When a few taller guys come in and try to cockblock you it's still gonna get rough.

Ultimately it's gonna be "He's got a a dozen inches on me but I have enough game that the girl wouldn't even notice him" that's gonna get you laid.

Also, agree that sometimes I do really well with tall girls, the game has no rules.

That's why it's important to set up a strong male/female dynamic early on ala being direct and if possible physicality (holding hands as an example) since I have had this happen and all I need to do is just smirk while PULLING MY GIRL AWAY and she follows. If the girl doesn't accept that male/female dynamic in very beginning, I never had her but if she does, she's pretty much accepted you are a man and no tall dudes can step in to that

Just an FYI:

If a woman ever mentions in a conversation "I used to date a guy your height" or "I used to date a guy shorter," the correct response is "Then you should have no problem going out with me Friday."

The wrong response is a defensive answer.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't understand that when women said things like this they were basically giving me a green light. Instead I interpreted it as a veiled put-down. I felt they were trying to stir up trouble by bringing up my height in a conversation, because after all it would be rude for men to bring up a woman's weight, blah, blah, blah.

I disagree. Oxfords look dressy, whereas boots look edgy. Men like bikers wouldn't ever be seen in dress shoes. They wear boots. I've got a nice pair of hugo boss oxfords, but they'd look awkward paired with a leather jacket, v neck, and dog tags. Instead I pair those with dress shirts and blazers.

5'7 here and try to wear stuff that brings me up to the US average of 5'9ish. I personally cant bring myself to wear anything marketed as height increasing, but I try to only wear items that are stylish while providing extra height and support.

I put a pair of these insoles in all my shoes, 1/2" thick in the heel and very comfortable. I havent found a thicker insole that isnt targeted at the height increasing crowd but if anyone knows of something out there thats like 3/4" I'd love to know.

Most of the stylish boots from companies like redwing, chippewa, wolverine will have a heel height thats 1.25" - 1.5" but the more custom boot makers like viberg and whites can do heels that are 1.75" - 2" and look great. Besides height advantages, nice boots are just badass and masculine without overdoing it and should get attention from chicks.

Co sign. I'm 5'5 - 5'6 and I always wear boots on dates. Pair with a fitted tee and a good jacket and you can easily add 2-3 inches to your height and give yourself an extra 2 points on first impressions.

Being short is a blessing in disguise in some ways - height being probably the biggest attractiveness factor for women (except for maybe wealth) it really forces you to hone every other aspect of your appearance.

height is attractive to women looking for a mate....a bang...a woman could care less about height. height doesnt determine dick girth or size and women know this. This thread must be geared towards men looking to settle down because im literally 4 inches away from being considered a dwarf/midget/(5'1) and every girl i have ever slept with has been taller and weighed more than me and ive banged girls 5'2 110-115 lbs all the way to girls 6ft id guess 200lbs plus.

(There are cheaper dress boots out there than Allen Edmonds. Regular wingtips make you really short, as do most tennis sneakers).

Solid tip mr. moody. Figure 1.5-2 inches from the heel, and another. 1-2" with inserts and a 5-5 guy like me becomes 5-8 and close to the average range and not automatically the shortest guy in any social setting.

When I was gaming I've tried a dozen of different types of inserts with boots. Never leave home without these. Im not sure if it helps but it certainly does help me feel better. Co-sign that it certainly helps with girls who are slightly shorter than you. I believe the optimal attraction range 5"7 - 5"9" for my target group. I love cute little girls, but those who just have to be with a tall guys (like that marketing chick next to my office) have some serious issues, so it helps screen out the bad prospects anyway.

Put on a pair of inserts again today because I've been having lower back pain, and notice acute girl keeping eye contact with me in the metro. This rarely happens so could be something.

My biggest issue with inserts is this: since it kicks up your heel it also chafe the front of your foot against the shoe's front. Most shoes are not designed to have extra space for an elevated foot. So what ends up is your feet sliding down due to elevation, and your toe chafe against the shoe. For long walk this is very uncomfortable unless you develop calous and get used to it.

Other than that, you want some inserts that are shock absorbent. They will have a plastic bubble thingy in the heel that allows the feet to spring a bit. I prefer those that are made of a fel-like material. These have orthopedic use too.

Definitely get boots 1 size bigger if you plan to use inserts.
