Good, funny article but dude lost me when he mentioned "patriarchy", do straight men actually use that word in a non-ironic sense?

Of course they do.

Mentioning patriarchy is just being awake.

There's meme circulating in this section of the internet that goes like this

- Mouth breathing red pill bro starts bitching about women at work
- Women and feminists become enraged
- Women turn to man in charge
- He never gives his own opinion about women, he might even agree that what the low ranked men did was horrible. So he fires the mouth breather, and everything is okay.

The joke is that the man is still in charge.

The war on men is like the war on christmas, a distraction.

The women he's been with, know who he is.
Same with all the Marley sons.

Some dread at a bar in Chicago would have problems with a black woman and might just be a weirdo to other women.

Believe me, I've been that dread.

Brooklyn on the other hand...

WIA,

I usually read you loud and clear, but I have know idea what you just said.

Are you making fun of "red pill bros"?

Or making fun of feminists?

Or saying that you also use the word "patriarchy" unironically?

@ WIA

Thank you for the post!! Very thought provoking although you did not answer my question directly. I will reply to your post in detail soon.

In any case, I am staying with my cousin in LA for Thanksgiving weekend.

He is 6'2, handsome, somewhat jacked ... his daddy (my uncle) owns a mining company back in Ethiopia and he's in Med School. He's got mediocre game too.

He told me he's on a dry spell since 13 months ago.

I asked him why and he said it's fucking Los Angeles.

Showed me this video ....

If this is real then fuck the West Coast!!!

Can any black bros in the SoCal area confirm? Is this true or just a gross exaggeration?

I'm saying most people that use the word (myself included), use it unironically.

The VSB dudes use it and think of all the negatives.
The Red Pill guys use it and think of all the positives.

Both tend to never consider the other guy's arguments.

He's on one of the podcasts and has plenty of posts here. But He's Ethio through and through, and he definitely made it work for him.

Let's talk hairstyles/haircuts. What do you guys usually get? I know the go-to for us are Caesars, but I'm thinking about switching it up. Currently rocking a gigantic afro.

Damn, now that I think about it we really don't have that many options lol

From what i gathered, Hencredible is Eritrean. Same shit. Imagine Bavaria gaining independence from Germany. Or Texas gaining independence from the US. Different country but same people through and through.

Its bad but its nowhere near that bad. I've gotten so many international flags in Socal that its ridiculous. Other than Miami or New York where else are you gonna get Ethiopian, Paraguayan, Dominican, Ecuadorian, Argentinian, Kazakhstan, Turkish, Latvian..etc flags stateside with ease? I've even gotten two snl's within the same night.

You really have to calibrate yourself for Socal. Its rare that a dude flies into Socal for the weekend for the first time and pulls some ass without a solid hook-up from family or friends who live in the area. Its not like New York or Vegas where you can just show up solo without having a lay of the land and still score easily. If anyone remembers the poster Neil Skywalker, dude was a 6"3 blond guy from the Netherlands, traveled the world, banged chicks with ease and wrote a book about it. Then he came to LA and struggled. It took him weeks to get laid. Once you crack the code though it does get slightly easier.

Its been mentioned to death but Socal logistics suck balls. If you are relying on nightclub game, where are you going to pull her to after and how are you going to entice her there? You need an answer to this question before you even leave the house. If not dont expect to get any ass that night and probably never see her again. Even if your answer is just to bang her in the backseat, you MUST have an answer to that question. I live 30 mins away is almost never an acceptable answer. Odds are she lives thirty minutes away or more from wherever venue you met her at too or she has roommates so her place isnt an option.

You honestly don't think we have options?

In the last few years all kinds of natural black hairstyles are making a comeback. Lots of dudes are rocking fades again and there are tons of variations on fades. Depending on your age/career/vibe you could rock a temp or hightop fade normal style or curl up the top part. Shaved parts on close cut hair is also stylish. Even Drake is sporting the circular shaved part in his hair.

You could also grow out some dreads, twists or cornrows. Medium length tapered cuts look good on some dudes too. 360 waves as well. You got plenty of options beyond a 'Fro or a Caesar. I could post some pictures but just google that shit. Experiment until you find something your confident with and you can gauge how females respond.

@Rudebwoy

Saw that shearling coat in the pic at Zara, and camel coats at H&M.

What i haven't seen this season for cheap
- Cafe racer leather jacket in light brown
- Green jackets in general.

I'm thinking of doing this all season, but it's more of a summer color.

Just grabbed this over the weekend, figure it would be less casual than the long overcoat. I am still saving for my Crombie covert coat.

Zara had mad sale this past weekend, the mall was a zoo so I gave it a miss.

Good looking out Archie.

I have that suit above as well.Smile

Not sure what you consider cheap but JCrew has a good field jacket for $198, plus 30% off right now.

Find a Military base.
There are plenty of barbers that are gonna set up shop off the base.
Hell even the Asians that work near the base are gonna be able to do it.
I get my hair cut by a old Korean man for 8 bucks. People think I got a black barber.

We are still recording guys and apologies about the delay but we are trying to improve on the audio. My voice still sounds very loud on recordings over all other particpiants and I am looking out for an audio normaliser to regulate the volume AFTER recording. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You need some way to have each voice on a separate track, and then just turn your track down.

Quick googling shows something like: http://blog.zencastr.com/blog/2015/8/5/t...r-podcast. Eliminate "crosstalk" by making sure everyone's using a headset and reducing bleed. Record the whole cast. Then they have some auto-software to splice each region of the cast into separate parts, matching by voice.

Basically a way to carve each guy into a track, then it's trivial to turn down / compress / eq each track so they gel together.

Once you have tracks "moma.wav", "rudebwoy.wav", "guest.wav", you can drag them into Garageband or Audacity (very simple multi-track DAWs) and mix them / set levels. Then you can bounce the final product as one file.

Ordered this jacket from the popular cult movie by Ryan Gosling - Drive.

Went out this past Saturday night and the reactions were insane! From around 8 pm until 3 in the morning i got somewhere between 20-30 compliments on the jacket.

One nerdy looking dude offered me $200 dollars to buy it from me on the spot. Couple of girls screamed " I looooove your jacket" while we were standing in line in front of them. Ended up making out with one of them. Another girl said the same and approached me at the bar from behind.

The jacket does not look particularly expensive or classy. But it catches the eye and is something you don't see everyday. Great conversation starter.

Also injects some bad-boy swag into your persona if you are somewhat lacking in that regard.

You bring up a good point. I've noticed that girls are way more willing to open me when i'm wearing something very fashionable. When I went up to visit my boy in the N.E I had a winter cap with some bear on it, for some reason girls loved it and would open me about it. I was very gameless back then so didn't capitalize on the situation. But that jacket is fire, might have to steal your swag bro mrgreen

On the topic of hair. Chicks out here in Europe can't get enough of my locs. I keep them constantly just above my shoulder length. Every time I go out, girls love it. I always say shit like, "you want to help me wash them." They get ecstatic.

BTW I have just a few weeks left in Germany before coming back stateside, will have an extensive data sheet at the end of the month.

Hip hop writer Ernest Baker, who is also known for writing a highly commented Gawker article about why he dates white women (he is black) is involved in a social media kerfuffle where his white ex gf accused him of abuse and of calling her racist terms and he in turn hit back at her saying she was equally abusive and called him even worse racist crap. He was about to published and the publisher decided to opt out after these allegations were revealed. Title of the book was "How to date white women".

As this is America, lots of racial dynamics involved, that both participants highlight.

He was about to published and the publisher decided to opt out after these allegations were revealed. Title of the book was "How to date white women".

As this is America, lots of racial dynamics involved, that both participants highlight.

"The couple’s dispute culminated with Lauren reportedly breaking Ernest’s ATM card in two, which purportedly sent Baker into a rage. Ernest allegedly choked Lauren and threw Nostro in a closet, causing her to land on the floor and strike her chin on the ground. A deep cut on her chin meant Lauren needed nearly 20 stitches afterward."
