Quote:What kind of DHEA are you taking? I'm using transdermal and doesn't affect my E2 at all. I love DHEA. My levels were previously normal low, but with 30mg TD a day I'm back to upper range and I just feel better all around.

I also hear good things about slow release micronized DHEA pills from Mcphersons.

To the other posters point, don't use the cheap DHEA pills. That 1st pass on the liver can turn it into E2 and cause issues.

Hmm, I just hopped onto Amazon and ordered a bottle of pills with the best combination of price and review ratings. I didn't realize at the time that the DHEA -- quality, form, ROA, etc. -- can cause issues with the E2 levels.

When you say transdermal, do you mean a patch? Cream? If cream, how do you control for precise dosing?

My order of pills hasn't shown up yet, and I might send them back if there's a better alternative.

If you're working with Defy they can get transdermal (which is a cream you rub onto your forearms or thighs) at any dosage from their compounding pharmacy.

For cheaper, but high quality options check out Life-Flo and Twist DHEA on Amazon.

It depends.

If you're diagnosed with low T, and supplementing it is the only action you take, then yes you will lose your gains after going off.
If you're diagnosed with low T, and you make a whole host of lifestyle changes together with the T, then some of the gains will probably stay.
I have been on T for six weeks and I went off. My T is higher now than it was before.

After a few servings of this, I'm like a raging bull in a china shop, wanting to fap 5 times a day or fuck anything that moves like a dog in a dog park on a sunny day. I noticed this effect so I decided to test my hypothesis.

I ate no brussel sprouts for 1 month and pulled my E, which came back at 33. A little high, but not disastrously high. I felt fine, just normal.

Then I ate brussel sprouts daily as described above for 1 month, and pulled my E again, with no other changes to my TRT, and no Arimidex. It came back at 27.

It's amazing how a six point swing in E makes a world of difference.

What is it about brussel sprouts that affects E?

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
Has anyone been able to get a HRT doc who will write a script rather than sell the items from their own pharmacy? I rather get the script filled at costco for half the price. I called up the first 7 HRT clinics I could find using a search engine and forum references but none will write their patients scripts and medication prices are all over the map.

Lookup compounding pharmacies in your area and call them for a list of endocrinologists that use their services. These will likely be TRT friendly docs, but tell them you want injectable test. cyp, eth or prop that you will administer yourself (don't let them sell you on test. creams).

I asked Defy if they would do this for me and they said yes, for a small ~$5 fee if I recall correctly. Trouble is there are no local compounding pharmacies I can use that will make the 5 mL bottle for me, but I wasn't looking very hard and Defy's price isn't that bad. My local Costco wanted to see the script before they would quote me the price, what is your's charging?

Standard size bottle is 10ml, why not go with that? Costco charges ~$68 for test cyp. the last time I used them.

It's pretty messed up that on the black market a 10ml vial is cheaper than that. ANd $68 per vial isn't the real cost either, one most factor in the labs, md consultation, etc which brings the real cost closer to $150/ea. On the black market it's <$50/ea. Something's seriously messed up.

Black-market product may be bunk. Could be dangerous. I'd pay more money to have peace of mind on the product's safety and efficacy.

Black-market product is not covering your labs. It's a good thing to get labs. It's a good thing to have a doctor in case things don't go swimmingly. You're playing with your hormones, and complications could arise. This ain't a game.

While it might not be a game for you, it's clearly a game for the medical establishment to rip you off just to get some basic help. Which dealer is the real criminal? You can figure that one out for yourself.

I've used both pharma t-cyp and UGL t-cyp, so long as you source properly they're identical. I get 200mg/mL 10mL cyp from my UGL for $35ea...

To further add to my point, here's one of likely many instances when bunk gear could get you hurt: Reddit user who got an abscess from likely contaminated UGL gear.

So total t was 592, as mentioned before.

Got free t checked and came back at 123 ml. Nurse said the range is 47-240.

I'm 30 and I checked out at 640 in june. Not low enough to get a script, so decided to take Test outside the U.S., and I feel the difference from day to day is worth it. 592 is not bad, but I'd say it's also not optimal for a healthy male.

Update, they will write me a script to take somewhere else, but they claim Dr.Saya can only write for pharmacies in Florida, therefore useless to me. Does this sound correct to you all? If so I need to find a local doc in order to go to costco.

I believe this is correct and you have to be in the same as the doc.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
I'm injecting 250mg testosterone enanthate every 10 days. Today I decided to get my testosterone levels checked and I am shocked by the result. The result says that my testosterone level is greater than 15 ng/ml. They just put >15 on the result paper. I don't even know how much higher it is than 15. The lab's reference range is 2.8-8.0.

My last injection was 9 days ago so I cannot comprehend how is this possible.

Any ideas?

Consider breaking it up into 2 injections. Once every 5 days.

After injecting 250mg once per week of testoviron (blend of 50 mg propionate and 200mg enanthate) in Colombia for 3 months, I also received a shock when my levels came back at 2000 ng/dl!!! Estrogen was also absurdly high, 99 on a normal scale of 0-42.

250mg is more than you think, your numbers are definitely normal for such a high dosage. I considered injecting once every 10 days but considering the only problem in my labs was my estrogen, I said fuck it and continued weekly injections.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
Hi All,

Looking for your advice as I'm concerned my T levels are lower than they should be.

I'm 40 and am 5'8" 181 lbs (1.73 m 82 Kg) with a BMI 27.4. Appreciate that my weight is the first thing I should tackle. Was 86Kg and am now down to 82.

I'd add that I have been under severe stress for over 18 months due to the gradual breakdown in my LTR with the mother of my 2 year old son. I wouldn't completely blame stress on my T levels as I had many of the symptoms that guys have described well before the shit hit in the fan in my LTR.

My last test was taken in July last year when I weighed 86 Kg:

(Total) Testosterone: 17.9 nmol/L or 516 ng/dl
Serum TSH level: 2.4 mIU/L
Free T4 level: 14 pmil/L
Plasma glucose level: 4.3 mmol/L

My GP said that my results were in the normal range and so there was nothing he could prescribe. I'd appreciate your advice/input.

you fckin serious???? You have 516ng/dl and that for your age not bad at all and if you lost weight that would come even much better, and you ask for some prescription just hilarious...
