This type of shaming happens in the US as well. It's pure envy in my opinion. Tell a girl you fucked a few girls in Colombia or SE Asia, and she'll assume that this girl lived in a shack without running water/electricity or something and you were "taking advantage" of them. I would agree with this. I'd say per capita WE as Americans are far less traveled in world. But the ones that leave the "bogan package tour" tend to branch out far more then other anglo countries.

The stigma exists in the UK too – East Asian women are not even on the radar over there…There’s not many around, and I grew up finding them unattractive. There’s still a big “mail order bride” stigma with some people.

Until I moved to the US nearly a decade ago. I remember calling my brother and complaining that a lot of the women in my grad school were Chinese. Now I’ve been in Los Angeles a few years, I can’t get enough of them.

Aussies are definitely big travellers, I remember seeing busloads of them in India.

I mentioned on RVF before about an Aussie guy who put his profile on dating website in Los Angeles. This guy’s got a good job, about 6ft tall, in shape, surfs etc. He said 200 women contacted him in a week.

Personally I stay the fuck away from Anglosphere women.

My response to Robert Plant was a bit over the top, that sort of traveller one-upmanship wasn't really called for. A Canadian girl brought up the whole "you Aussies are everywhere" in my Sarajevo hostel. A shit test, yes, but she was still feminine by Anglo standards. Sure, I was by no means the first Aussie she'd come across, but she realised that I could walk outside and have my pick of hot Slavic tail.

Which in turn begs the question of why Aussie girls in Asia don't feel threatened by local women. Why they aren't immediately shamed into behaving more feminine and working on their appearance. It takes a elite level of hamsterising to write off the competition of Asian women as being below their level. Similarly, Australian girls I know that have travelled to Ukraine, Russia and Poland have collectively expressed the belief that Slavic dudes are ugly as sin, and in the same breath dared have the gall to voice their shock and indignation that these same guys can end up with a hot, feminine girl (shock, horror!) as long as he's somewhat got his shit together (read: has a job, isn't an alcoholic).
Are they that happy to shut themselves out of the dating market? A Dutch sailing buddy told me how he was put off by local girls when did a Working Holiday in Oz. The binge drinking, swearing, burping and other masculine behaviour. Surely he wasn't the only one?

I have a theory on why Australian women shame the prospect of pairing up with an Asian girl as being "unable to land a girl back home" or "sexual exploitation".
Someone else might chime in with a more nuanced or accurate take, but here goes.
Bear in mind this have been expressed a few generations before millenial SJWs.
The habit of Australian servicemen bringing back war brides from Japan, Korea and Vietnam kicked off this feeling of Asian girls encroaching on Aussie women's territory. Australia was mostly involved in the Asia-Pacific theatre by the end of WW2, hence the relative lack of European brides (generally by the RAAF).
Sure, our women were much more feminine and still kept traditional roles, by having seen greener pastures, our subpar Anglo-Celtic genes in women became pretty apparent. Women were fast-tracked towards masculinity taking on further responsibility on the home front and war effort anyway. There was already a slight shortage of men from wartime losses. A similar angst would've erupted had Soviet troops brought back German war brides en masse.
European wives brought back by North American troops weren't seen as much of a threat because of the relatively large Continental admixture already present.

It was during the Vietnam war that even Australian men started to stigmatise Asian girls as being "wan dorrah me ruv yu rrong time" LBFMs. Ironically, the counterculture movement back home may have added to that. I mean, there was business to be made, after all, and seduction is as old a wartime spin-off as the arms dealer. Slight tanget, these girls had lost families and homes to bombing, they weren't all destitute initially; their brothers and husbands in the ARVN if still alive were woefully underequipped and unsupported, it was a cheap shot for the Allies to have seen them as whores and their men, cowards.

It has less to do with being able to hack it and more to do with what the realistic options are.

Unless you're well connected through social or familial networks, have ridiculous status, wealth or looks - often these top tier chicks in anglo countries aren't even an option for a one off bang, let alone the tight-rope walk that is ongoing gaming within a relationship.

The former categories may apply regarding the city you grew up in and the school you went to, but as soon as you relocate or drift apart from that clique (and the latter categories don't apply), then you're relegated to the ranks of stone-cold stranger like everyone else without any leverage (except your game knowledge).

It's been mentioned in this thread about the stigma of White guys being with Asian girls.

I think there is a similar relationship that exists between top tier chicks and average guys (or what they perceive to be average in their vapid little minds).

Combine that with most guys' preference for chicks in the 18 to 24 age bracket, and you're pushing shit uphill if you're age is outside that which is socially acceptable, since ageism is a very real cockblocker here.

There's pressure put on them to shoot for gold too, lest they receive the wrath of their peers and/or family.

So, I'm happy exploiting my strengths and comparatively high SMV when it comes to Asian girls, because I'm realistic about my options.

I saw a huge difference in general class between Aussies traveling in Asia vs. South America (for perspective's sake, I'm American.) In Saigon/Phils it did seem to be a lot of roughneck dudes with bestial women. The Aussie guys I came across in Medellin were a whole different group- still pretty hard drinkers, but generally better-dressed, solid guys who behaved reasonably well, and the few who did bring women with them had some leggy blonde smokeshows.

I have travelled extensively throughout the world in the last 8 years as a twenty-something Australian male (born in the bush, I might add).

I have never been drunk during the day, at all, whilst abroad. I don't like drinking unnecessarily because I have the most fun with women when I am sober and have my faculties at my disposal in full force, as well as seeing no reason why I would want to pay exorbitant prices for alcohol in a retail setting when I know I'm going to have a few drinks that night.

I never touch drugs.

I have never been to Phuket.

I aim for and sometimes get two 9s a week when I am abroad (a fact which has stirred significant jealousy on this site in the past making it perfectly obvious to me that this forum is full of guys who talk to hundreds of women in order to bang a few 7s and/or brag about having sex in places where the only reason you get attention is because the girls there are not good to look at, fulltime or part-time prostitutes and comparatively very, very poor e.g. Phillipines, Laos and Thailand).
