Excelsior, I agree with what you are saying on the whole but I think that black men have a predilection towards a lizard with some meat on her. However, there is a difference between a voluptous ting and these water mammoths that brazenly walk the streets of North America. I have lived and travelled in black countries and I notice that the men there value a lizard who has weight on her. When you grow up with fat women all your life then you tend to gravity rate towards fat women. We have seen the obesity rates for American black women. I've read that it's about 33% among black females that report it themselves. We all know women lie and believe that 180lbs as 'curvy' or just extra weight. So that number doesn't even include overweight and the ones who lie to themselves. So imagine the average black male growing up among females that are fat and have that don't give a fuck attitude that comes with it. 18 years of that until they leave for college or move out the house.

Also, I don't know many dudes getting 7/8 black girls and then trying to pull a Becky that's a 5. Usually it's pretty even.

Interesting observation - there is a certain vibe that women life from dark-skinned cats (black and South-Indian alike) when dealing with higher-end white girls.

This vibe is:
1. Polished (i.e. good etiquette, well-dressed, well-spoken)
2. Confident and masculine, yet restrained swag (Think Irdis Elba, not DMX)
3. Sophisticated accent and speech (think college-educated Bostonian or upper-class Londoner)

Anabasis, it might be a West African thing for sure. AAs and Caribbeans tend to have more of a West African persuasion so perhaps that's where that 'cultural' tendency is coming from. I'm fit-thin, around 5'8". Used to be scrawny, but started working out a couple years ago. Still in my very-early 20s, so it'll take me a couple more years at least to really get muscular. If you see me in real life, you'd call me fit, but not athletic or muscular.

My problem is that those chubster chicks like posted above often confess they are into "urban" men because they can't get someone of their own race to like them. The second photo posted by Joga is the style I prefer. Not too formal or stuffy but still looks good. Only problem is that I am in the Netherlands and it is expensive to buy clothes like that.

Also, another thing that kills me is that I almost have to get everything tailored after buying it. I am 5'6, 172lbs with broad shoulders and rugby thighs; this makes buying well fitted clothes a challenge here. Plus the added cost of having them altered. But I am slowly getting better threads.
