Within 24 hours she had booked a flight and hotel and we agreed to meet on Monday. However, I think I have a stage 5 clinger on my hands. She is hitting me up constantly over text and wanting to know why I'm ignoring her if my replies aren't immediately forthcoming, so needless to say there are red flags.

Background info: she's moderately attractive (probably a 6) and has a very senior position in a law firm, which I was able to confirm with a quick Google search.

Dude what do you have to lose. I say go for it. You know for sure if she's flying in you're getting the bang. If you have reservations about her appearance. Then skype/facetime. If you think she may be crazy, then meet somewhere super public. Don't think your way out of some easy puss.

Meet her up when she's here and bang her in her hotel. If she was coming in two months time I would have just not bothered and you'd have been best to delete her number but since it's only a few days away you can afford to take a slight hit to hit her up a little over the weekend and prepare for the bang for Monday. Sending her texts a little late and sporadically is good regardless of what she may say.

So I just made a OKC account and I am wondering how you guys approach it in terms of messaging the woman here. So far, I am looking at their profile and would ask a specific question and move on from there ie. If I see a favorite book or something, I would ask them about it and try to move on from there. I am curious how you guys approach this.

edit: I am also doing the same with POF because why not, right?

that what I do, I found the cornier I think the message is, the better my response rate, but lately for some reason Ive been getting a lot of messages so I haven't been sending as many openers.

Customized messages will merit the highest response rate. Most women on there think that you won't read her profile because you are basing everything solely on looks (true story). So, you could become the outlier that says something witty in order to spark some interest.

Not saying it works every time but you will have higher conversions.

I've had similar experiences.

What I have found is there is a reason she is like this.

Plus they are not nearly as good looking as their pictures either.

Also you have to be honest. She is taking control here and being assertive. In other words, "she is driving".

I bet some guy broke up with her recently or pissed her off. And she is making a leap.

Nothing bad will happen I just usually find nothing good happens either.

I have a strange thing going on so I'd appreciate some advice. I joined OkC this summer and messaged a lot of girls, but the only ones I've managed to get out on a date were those that either liked me or messaged me first. I've met four girls so far - first dates with two of them went nowhere, and one girl flaked on me right before the third date when I was planning on banging her. I banged the last one but cut off all contact eventually as she seemed a bit crazy, although she treated me nice during those couple of weeks we were dating. There were some others that messaged me first, but I ignored them as they were either ugly or damaged in some other way.

Now, out of all those girls I messaged first, only two gave me their number but flaked when I attempted to arrange a date. My response rate is somewhere around 30-40%, but I often find myself withdrawing from the conversation after a couple of messages, when I see the girl shows no interest in me.

My home city is pretty large (nearly a million inhabitants with suburbs) and there are plenty of girls on the site, but from what I can see the vast majority of them are attention whores who obviously have no interest in actually meeting a guy. I see a lot of fake profile pics, empty profiles, trashy hipsters, crazy bisexuals...in short, the pool of women is rather large but pretty low in quality, when compared to some neighboring countries.

I don't know if this is happening because I'm doing something wrong when messaging girls (I doubt it, otherwise it would be the same thing with those that liked me first), or because the number of thirsty betas on the site is so high that women have ridiculously high standards.

To answer your question, this is normal. Very normal. The fact that you have women opening you means you are not as low value as you may think. My response rate is like 10-20% don't sweat it. Treat OKC like tinder, use it as a supplement and not as your primary source.

I was mistaken. She works in a law firm, but it's not in a senior position. I had googled her and found her on the company website. She was there just to see me. No idea how she managed to get the time off at such short notice. I'm curious to hear what you're doing Remington. Do you have professional pictures? Are you in a big city? My experience with 8+ girls on OKC, is 90% percent of the time they're bots, inactive profiles pushin for kik/instagram followers, have full inboxes so you can't even message, or the most likely of plain not responding. Although the whales vastly outnumber the 8+ girls so it's difficult to even stumble upon quality profiles. Yep, modeling is the simplest litmus test because really good looking girls don't go through life without someone trying to get them into modeling. Its almost hand and hand. The best looking girl at my office has a model mayhem profile and 10k instagram followers. Its almost like guys who are really good athletes end up playing sports of some kind.

I know some guys throw out the "Oh I don't believe in the number system" card. I get the reasoning behind it but lets face it. Saying that is kind of like trying discussing strength training and when someone asks you how much you are actually lifting you throw out the "Oh I don't believe in the number system", its enough weight for me bro. Obviously thats a far fetched analogy since women's looks are more of an intangible thing but you need to get across some kind of measurement system.
