There's a scam when they have cam sex with you, record it, and blackmail you by threatening to send the video to all your Facebook friends. Somebody wrote about it on the forum I think. Too lazy to find the thread.

I've personally heard the following:
- Neighbor got bitten by their dog. Need money for rabies shots.

- Belgian dates young filipina in long distance relationship. Says she needs $700/month. Guy sends money. She spends it on a $300 phone, new clothes, shoes, etc. Says her mother got in an accident so she needs more money for rent.
- Another girl bragging that she does the above with 4 different guys at once, timing when they visit her so they don't overlap.
- Girl has a facebook where she shares her undying love for her boyfriend working in Qatar, but also has a profile on dateinasia and is asking me to visit
- Lots of variations of women asking for money in long distance relationships for emergencies while simultaneously being a bargirl or hooking up with other guys
