LOL @ all the fake outrage. I used google translate to read some of the facebook comments left...they were hilarious. Most of the guys seemed to dismiss roosh as some degenerate and the girls are all saying how he is wrong about Icelandic women.

As an Icelandic woman I feel the need to comment on this forum. Not speaking on behalf of Icelandic women just to be clear.

I’m not gonna deny that some of the things you say in the book are true.

We don’t have a date culture here in Iceland and it’s true that it’s quite common that people actually go home together and have sex and then start dating if they feel interested.

I think the principles we live by are different from many other cultures, we are not condemned by the society for sleeping with multiple people.

On the other hand I think that this “research” of yours is highly subjective, and the women you talked to might actually be more promiscuous than the rest, because based on your looks you wouldn’t be able to come close to many of the beautiful women that are available.

I also feel the urge to let you guys know that its pathetic to see how you are trying to get conformity about your manhood from each other on this forum. The fact that you guys are single doesn’t surprise me at all. Yeah, convince your self you are here by choice but you are here because something isn’t working and you need “a gameplan” to get a girl to have sex with you... how sad.....

You might be able to have sex with some women with low self esteem and other issues, or not, you might actually get lucky... but if your personalities reflect the things you write here, I pity any woman that end up with you.

Controversy and negativity drive sales as much as positive reviews do. That's the world we live in - a rubbernecking culture where everyone wants to see what's going on here. They want to take a peek to see if they can see anything gory or sleazy. It's not shocking that this kind of book would get this kind of reaction from the local population that was written about. The chicks are insulted, while some local dudes will whiteknight (after all, you're talking about their wives, daughters, girlfriends, acquaintences, etc.). Other dudes there are simply chuckling at the truth of it all, but won't dare show themselves by publicly defending the book. Don't think for a second that bar, hotel, and apartment owners aren't hoping tons of foreign men descend upon Iceland for a chance to see if what they read is even remotely true.

Icelandic Whore's response was typical...she couldn't totally dispel what was written, but tried to provide a context - that Roosh happened to talk to the sluttiest outliers in Iceland, and that his own looks wouldn't allow him to pull the cream that they have to offer.

Just for clarity, Iceland isn't part of Scandinavia.

I believe the main reason Bang Iceland is getting publicity is due to the place being very small - anything that puts Iceland on the map internationally will be noticed.

I got an advanced copy of Bang Iceland, and let me say that Roosh is the man. Band Iceland is a great book if you want to know an efficient way to bang Icelandic women. Roosh is a master observer, and thanks to him, we now have a play book that guarantees some Iceland punani whenever one travels there...until the recent publication of the book, that is.

I don't know how I feel about this controversy over the book, for it may dampen our prospect. But this is just speculation on my part and probably unlikely anyway.

In any case, Roosh, great job on a very informative and well laid-out book. And for those who plan to go to Iceland, or Finland for that matter (since I hear they have a similar drinking and aggressive women culture), get the book already if you have not already done so!

There are MANY Icelandic women that do not behave in this way. Especially the ones who do not go to clubs regularly.
We are a small country so of course it's going to seem like the majority behave this way.

There are so many people here in Iceland who are absolutely furious and embarrassed. You have just ruined our women's reputation with this book, now our women around the world will be known for being easy. Which isn't fair.

Vicious hit the nail on the head. Iceland has a population of only 320,000, so it was the perfect environment for this to blow up. And it's a small island nation, so the population will be pretty insular. Who knows how long this buzz lasts, but a return trip w/ a TV crew would be funny.
