A good Halloween costume can act as an opener and immediately sexualize the vibe. Problem is... I got nothing.

Initially I thought Trump, because it says all the right things, but I suspect there are going to be a lot of Trump's this Halloween. Plus, I can't pull off an NY accent.

What are you going at this year? Got any good costume ideas to share? What costumes have you worn in the past that lead to good experiences?

Also - surprised I haven't seen more game bloggers on this topic. It's such a perfect seasonal niche. How many "Halloween costume that will get girls" searches do you think happen this time of year?

My kilt kills it at Halloween. The masculine sexuality of it is powerful. I get opened again and again by girls, sometimes with a compliment but often with them asking if I'm wearing it the "traditional" way; i.e. no underwear. Last year I twice had a drunk girl come up behind me and run her hand up under the kilt to grope me. They're inexpensive and easy wear all night too.

Last year I decided to go to this huge costume party in Denver with a few other cool guys that I hang with. They had all these fancy costumes, some sort of ninja, a pimp, Ray Rice, etc.

I wasn't going to blow any money on a costume so I wrapped myself in a white bed sheet where my right pec was showing and wrapped my head in a piece of fake ivy I had hanging on my bed post. Wrapped my house shoes in some brown duck tape where they looked like Jesus sandals.

My opener was "Guess how much this bad ass costume cost" . Fucked a chick later that night dressed like a zombie. Had about five other chicks rubbing my chest before that. I have plans this year so I wont dress up but next year I'll get an old pair of boxing gloves and walk around shirtless talking like Ivan Drago. That won't cost anything either.

I've cross dressed for Halloween.
I just picked the most popular / skanky girl that year and dressed up in her most revealing outfit. Added bonus of getting a girl to dress up with me like a guy for a strange double costume.

I've never been felt up that much in public in my life from random girls. Everyone wanted a picture.

It just kind of drops barriers having you dressed up like that. On top of showing off.

For the past few years I've worn white sneakers, white jeans, and a long-sleeve white shirt, and gone as a line of cocaine.

The kilt with a twist - you go to a sex shop and buy a massive lifelike dildo, then strap it on so the knob-end is hanging down below the edge of the kilt. Never fails to get laughs and gropes.

I'm going out both nights of the weekend with a couple friends. Think I'm gonna get a nametag and write one of my friends' names on it, and that'll just be my costume. I like to give him shit, so it makes sense. It fits my usual criteria for a Halloween costume: Costs little to nothing, doesn't take effort or creativity to make, isn't uncomfortable to wear, doesn't make me look like an idiot or a dweeb but is still a funny icebreaker and allows me to wear my casual clothes with it. Perfect.

Halloween is the best time of the year to wear skimpy clothing as a dude. Be something generic like a fireman, but just wearing an FDNY tank top. It's the only time of the year you can wear a tank top to a club without looking gay/a douchebag, make the most of it. If you're in decent shape you'll get a shitload of female attention.

'funny' costumes tend to only appeal to other dudes. And the ones that make no effort are just a waste of a night. You can be the absolute center of attention of any party if you're barely dressed and in good shape.

I can't disagree more with this.

If you are in an non-beach American city you will definitely look like a faggot. Probably the same goes for those in Europe.

It's 2015 and there are faggots everyone who will probably be wearing something similar. Have fun with those shit tests all night.

Plus it's mid-Autumn, it won't even be comfortable unless you are in full on dance club mode.

Every single time I've gone out on Halloween night in America wearing a tank top, or even better topless, on Halloween I've gotten laid. Chicago/NYC/San Diego/Athens GA. My 'clothed' strike rate is a fraction of that. There are absolutely zero shit tests as long a you're in good shape and your costume has any sort of logic to it - all you do is get girls coming up to you stroking your muscles all night.

Europe is even better, you' have far less competition from dudes in good shape; you stand out from the crowd of guys in nerdy/funny/lazy costumes even more.

It's by far the easiest weekend of the year to get laid if you're in good shape and dress in a way that shows it off.

The cold sucks anywhere north of Mason-Dixon, but that just means you need to avoid the rare enough street parties and stick to house parties/bars.

Lifeguard, FDNY, tribal warrior, some sort of superhero.. anything that lets you be topless, or barely dressed, works fantastically.
