This can be a good idea, but make sure that the bang is guaranteed, and make it clear before. "Can't wait to meet you, we'll get wild in bed" or anything that makes the intention CLEAR. If you fail to do so, you might be flying / driving hours to meet a girl who will win the LMR battle and show no mercy to leave you blueballed because "she is not that kind of girl".

For me, it was 4 hours of driving from my current location. I was in Krabi, and I made the mistake of rejecting a night out on Phi Phi paradise island to take a bus to go fuck a hot chick near the Malaysian border. We've been talking for several weeks before. Here's what happened:
1) I got SIF'd
2) I wasn't even able to make out. She made me pay for the hotel room, to say that she needs to be in a relationship before anything happens
3) LMR was impossible to beat, she shown no mercy to blueball me, she didn't care that I wasted a day to go there
4) I angrily kicked her out (she was crying), and went to the pub to pick another chick. My usual "put out or get out" rule.

Do the gaming before leaving, to make sure that there won't be a mind battle when arriving there. Don't tell the girl that you will travel for her (that's the mistake I did), but rather that you are meeting some old friends there and you can see her "if you have time" (which you will).

I like traveling so going far isn't really a problem. I once went into the depths of Butuan in the Philippines and hooked up with a filipina that wasn't as hot as pictures. She was freaky though in the bedroom. I ended up throwing her out and finding a couple other girls on my short stay. The whole experience was so unique that it made it worth it.

In the States never farther than 15 minutes driving distance (the women here just ain't worth anymore attention with their snobby attitudes) although I would be lying if I didn't say that some of my overseas travel was not influenced by the women I'd meet there.
