And that's especially true of a forum like this one which promotes self-improvement and libertarian-esque thinking, basically that everything in your life is within your reach and control. Well, not everything apparently. But honestly, once you realize that there are things beyond your grasp, it's kinda relaxing. It removes any emotional stake you might have had in the whole charade.

Tl;dr Do I care about what's going in Europe? Yes. Is there anything I can do about it? No. Does that leave me at peace? Yes.

However, 99% of people nowadays think that decisions are being made by elected politicians and that they have important decision power through voting. And of course this is the narrative they want us to believe.

It is definitely a difficult pill to swallow: to accept that also nowadays, there are people with power comparable to the medieval kings and popes. People who are born (or who rise) into near-infinite wealth and power and can do nearly anything they want to the world and their "subordinates". More so since it is not readily apparent who these rulers are.

I used to get very upset at politics.
I got upset when politicians betrayed all their pre-election promises.
I got upset when they pushed the immigration agenda and minority idolatry to the detriment of our society.
I got upset when they pushed feminism and LGBT's to the detriment of our society.
I got upset when they pushed globalisation while it clearly impoverishes the middle class.

Now that I understand that there's nothing I can do about it, that's one thing less I need to worry about.
I know in which direction it will go and I will no longer spend energy trying to fight it or trying to convince blue pillers that we are heading in the wrong direction, which was always to my own detriment.

Now I can focus on the main task: making enough money to shield myself from the harm it will cause to the middle class.

There are a few people in the UK 'doing something about it'.

One of them is Tommy Robinson. I used to think he was an uneducated and poorly informed idiot who just hated muslims. I disliked the behaviour of his followers, who mainly just hated muslims. As the migrant invasion started to unfold in the spring of this year, and large numbers of migrant bodies were washing up on Mediterranean beaches I realised that this surge of people towards the Europe, was going to be a big social problem, and was entirely mandated by the EU leaders. It made me realise that even one person being vocal and speaking against it, was better than no one. I realised that Tommy Robinson was a passionate man who cared about his country and its future, and although I didn't agree with some of his methods, that essentially he was doing something good.

Prior to this, in 2013, Robinson had been coerced to leave the organisation he had built by a group called the Quilliam Foundation. I'm not sure what I think of them, not sure whether they are a force for good or stooges for someone/something more powerful. Robinson's organisation, the EDL, had large support, and was able to organise marches and protests around the UK of easily a few thousand people at short notice. It was probably quite scary to some people that he could do this, so there is obviously something to be gained by removing the figurehead of such a group. Since his leaving the EDL, they have disappeared in to obscurity, there are no more marches and protest(I don't hear about any), and the main voice against the spread of Islam in the UK has been silenced.

There must be more to it than meets the eye, because Robinson has said that his views haven't changed at all, and Robinson receives very little coverage in the media now.
