Is this an example of the natural female instinct of revulsion towards beta behavior or was the little girl just overwhelmed?

I take it you've never been around small children.

She's obviously acting super shy. Not to mention an entire studio audience cheering and screaming. She doesn't know any better and of course having Adam Levine walk out, give her a rose, and pick her up just tops all of that.

There isn't any "attraction", IOIs, or any other such PUA BS. It's just a small girl, overwhelmed with the noise and attention, retreating back to mommy simply because she is shy.
