Juncker is powerful enough and can either help you rise after your local political career - or he can destroy you. Very few of the national EU politicians are fuck-you rich. Berlusconi might have hit him back and Putin is of course another matter - Trump is of course also fuck-you rich. It's a matter of pushing the envelope a bit by a continuously drunk politician (who is probably also constantly on coke). Orban defied all EU orders so he might have expected some taunts. Those public displays of power are also relative to the real money and influence those guys have. For example the Polish EU commissioner Donald Tusk could not even afford proper suits some 12 years ago. Now he makes hundreds of thousands of Euros per year for life. For all we know he might have sucked Juncker's dick to get the job.

The politicians you see on TV are all unequal behind the scenes - some have way more power than it seems, others are extremely wealthy and have even higher powers backing them while some are just a phone call away from losing all their privilege. Their outward positions don't reflect that clearly. Putin probably would have used a Judo-grip on him - he was KGB martial arts trained and a drunk Juncker isn't much of a threat there. I would have loved to see him try that though - heh.

The economy can be upheld surprisingly long - a basic income / social security can be printed out via debt almost indefinitely. Sweden has multiple big industrial companies which are world-renown - it's not just IKEA or Volvo. Of course debt expansion can only go on so long.

A bigger breaking point is rather how much will the Swedes take before they violently oppose the madness? I think that the elite has made Sweden the first test-case. They are determined to find out how many rapes and sharia zones the Swedes will tolerate before they snap. Or will they just roll down their flag and surrender their territory to a subsidiary of ISIS?



It does not seem as if the authorities are about to do anything against it - they will let 500, 1000, 5000 sharia zones develop. But since the Muslims won't usurp the financial and political top for various reasons, then they are going to go the violent grassroots approach.
