The super scary thing is that the UN seems to be considering this.... I think the Rooshv forum would not survive this kind of policing if it ever became a reality.

They understand just fine. They don't expect countries like the US to actually adopt these policies. But they get to raise their respective profiles and grievance industry cred by "speaking to the UN". Anita and Zoe Quinn are now worth that much more to come and speak at your college campus or the like because they've "spoke to the UN" about the topic of online harassment.

It's all about the $$$.

Think about it for a second. If online "harassment" (i.e. free speech) didn't exist on the internet, just how would Anita make her living? She couldn't.

Thank god no one will ever take their shit too seriously, they might groan and get a few shitty websites like twitter or facebook to police free speech but the wider web can not be censored so easily. The grievance industry, "green" energy and pretend-socialism are all BIG business in North America el mech.

David Suzuki, Naomi Klein, Al Gore, Michael Moore, Matt Damon and the Clintons are the best examples off the top of my head. They either don't actually believe anything of what they espouse, believe they should be somehow exempt from it personally (i.e. hypocrisy), or have rationalized that the only way they can "make a difference" and enforce their vision of a "better world" is to obtain sufficient wealth, power and influence. Perhaps all three.

Zoe Quinn and Antia are excellent self-promoters and are working their way up the ladder of the grievance industry and pretend-socialist class such that they too will join this elite club. Anita in particular is likely to be a future millionaire.
