And what is it with the Idris Elba thing? Did he become the token black guy to play white characters after playing a norse god?

Sure, if you want to see a spy movie where the hero is a black guy instead of a white guy then create another character and I'd watch it in a heartbeat if the movie was good.

The talking point in favor of Black Bond is that "Bond is Scottish, but has been played by English and Irish actors." So obviously he can be black.

I'm not going to waste my money seeing this new Bond film.

Why? They killed off all of the worthwhile casts members and replaced them with trash. You seriously think that limp wristed millenial pajama boy playing Q will match up to John Cleece? Get a f*cking joke. All I want to see is that pussy repeatedly punched in the face over and over again.

Every new Bond movie has rehashed every single plot line trope from older movies. Soaking a chick in oil? How about gold. Reviving Spectre? Egad, come on. Where are the new stories and villains? Bond died with Pierce.

Don't even get me started on the old Bond girls and the "strong" independent chicks playing them.

What makes me even more sick is how much people lap this rehashed trash up.

I hope we see the Kingsman as a new "bond" like series replace this long in the tooth franchise. What a shame, Sean Connery must be disappointed.

The Italian media made fun of some comments by Monica Belluci, that she was a "mature" woman. She said that it's indeed something new for Bond.

Yeah - a plate of shit for supper is something new as well, but that does not mean that I have to like it.

To be fair, she has kept well for her age, but is way way way past her prime - a real James Bond would ignore her and bang her daughters and even granddaughters.

With all of the “Back to the Future” talk recently, I nominate Barry Nelson to be the next Bond. Go back to the real beginning.

Maybe then I’d actually watch a post-2002 Bond flick.

The last Bond movie I saw in the cinema was the one with Denise Richards as Not Lara Croft.

It was also the last one I've seen all the way through.

The actors and filmmakers constant shame and disgust over the character and his behaviour - yes, even back then with the forced progressivism with the casting of the The Generic Brand Glenda Jackson Judi Dench as a bitter, sarcastic, castrating, lesbionic M - simply made me think "If you truly despise what this character represents and his audience so much, then why make these movies?"

As such, I made a conscious choice to not give hypocrites who despise me and the character my money. That's all it takes. Daniel Craig despises the character so much that I will not knowingly-contribute to his comfort and career. If you keep financially-rewarding these idiots, you get the Bond you deserve: the one with a live-in girlfriend and a sassy gay friend.



I did see the first 30 minutes of the Bond film after Craig's debut on television, but it was all product placement, he's a charisma vacuum, and they thought Parkour was a still a thing, so I wandered off.

I didn't think Judi Dench was all that terrible in everything prior to Skyfall. I think she did a pretty good job of showing the seriousness of M (Bernard Lee wasn't the happiest guy either). In Skyfall, however, it all fell apart.

They've long exhausted the Ian Fleming material. The movies are only going to get worse.
