The decline of certain segments of the scientific community, particularly those in the employ of the public sector. Take NASA as an illustrative example. They figured out a way to send men to the moon successfully using computers with less memory than a feminist's iPhone. Then they had a mostly successful orbiter program with 70s and 80s tech, which eventually got cancelled.

Now with pretty much the same budget as 15 years ago, they send no one to space. But they sure peacock on a lot about their diversity hiring and they sure are good at finicking with global temperature readings.

I'll be leaving this shithole in a few days, my additions.

- Excessive Special-Snowflaking of children - The way people talk about their kids - 'Oh he's in the 98th percentile for height and 96th percentile for weight!', 'An agent gave me a card and wants to put her in commercials!', 'She's 4 but reads at a four and a half year level!', you'd think that the next highly-evolved race of super beings will soon be upon us the way some people tout their kids.

Me? I'm a little more cynical and realistic; Given that they're growing up with constant internet, police-state monitoring, attention-at-the-push-of-a-button and an education system that doesn't even try to hide the fact that it's got an agenda anymore, I'd be willing to bet a year's salary that the upcoming generation is going to be stupider, more depraved, more entitled, more pussified and sluttier than the one that they came from - I'm especially hoping for the last one, I don't want to have to pay for the 20 year olds I like when I'm 50.

- The decline of Conversation - Conversation should be about repartee and the sharing and commingling of views, a give-and-take...but given that so many people are glues to antisocial media and learned to interact through it, what we have are people who once they start talking just DON'T EVER SHUT THE FUCK UP, or use conversation to 'humblebrag' about some shit that I don't even care about. Also, fuck tons of people have no idea how to read social cues and display tact in a social setting. I'm almost at the point where unless I can fuck them or make money off them I don't bother with people.

- Fat and old women with standards roughly inline with their sexy, young counterparts - MAYBE if you're rich you can get a guy that lives up to half what you want. The curse of women - thinking that they're worth it - and they ARE worth it...until they aren't...

- Tattoo Mania! - I just spent summer back home, saw and conversed with countless young people and what did I notice? At least 60% of them had at least one tattoo. Tattoos look good on exactly one person; a jacked dude who lifts (a sexy girl with a small but tasteful tattoo - JUST ONE, is also acceptable), and not only do so many people have them, but they have SO MANY of them. Neck tattoos, 'tramp stamps', sleeves, leg sleeves, shit on their hands. At least I know that if I ever decide to get a permanent job here, I won't have to worry too much...except for the fact that...

- Straight white males are the devil! - Especially heterosexual (check), somewhat attractive (check), tall (check), masculine straight white males with deep voices (check), confidence (check) and people skills (check)...How much has changed in just a little over 40 years...

- The Female takeover of Sports - Sports started with female reporters, which led to female analysts, which begat female officials, which (will soon) lead to female coaches until finally, one day, a female athlete in the 'Big-4'...she will probably be shit but it'll be celebrated far and wide. Pink uniforms for Breast Cancer, careers ended because of some off-the-field shit involving some woman, the relatively-recent 'tabloidization' of Sports Journalism...It ain't going away.

- The Decline of Music - Can anybody name a musical act from the last 5 years that will still be played and talked about in 30 years? Where are the David Bowies, Lou Reeds, Jimi Hendrixes and Kurt Cobians of this generation? All I can hear is a bunch of shitty studio-manufactured crap, laughable hip-hop and faggy 'new-wave dance rock'. If you want to hear good new music you have to look EXTREMELY hard to find it.

- Fat Acceptance - Thankfully they'll all mostly be dead in 5 years. Why in the fuck should I accept and celebrate your 32 BMI when I'm already paying for it?

- The 'Leader of the Free World' commenting on social issues and doing comedy skits at his events - Funny that people are saying 'I'll vote for Hillary because she's a woman!'...in 2008 they said 'I'll vote for Obama because he's black!'. That turned out lovely, didn't it? A clown who regularly gets taken to the cleaners when he tries to make deals with other leaders, further restricts basic fundamental freedoms and seems to have no idea how to solve anything in Middle East...but hey, at least he cares what happened to Trayvon and sometimes does something funny enough for a good video sometimes...

I just read up on the period blood marathon girl.

In the coming months and years we are going to see more of these "art projects" hit the stage.

I say art projects because if you look at modern art museums -- anything weird vile and discusting is considered "thought provoking."

It takes such a leap of faith to link it to anything meaningful that you begin to wonder how much more looney toon this world is going to get.

During my last trip to Europe, I was walking around the Tate Britain. They have some of the most amazing achievements in art housed in that building. One room in particular is filled with stuff from the 1800s to just after the turn of the 20th century. The vibrancy and combination of the colors; the staging of the subjects in the frame; it's absolutely breathtaking. Now this painting is right on the edge of a doorway leading into the next room, which houses some post-modern "art" that I suppose the Tate has to showcase to continue to receive funding. Standing and looking at the Sargent, I could see the piece in the po-mo room in the same sight line. It was a giant pile of wooden and plastic garbage, fused together, like an environmentalist's pathetic Tower of Babel.

No more clearly could the cultural decline have been highlighted, between this masterpiece of craft and a literal pile of garbage. I burst out laughing, but no one else seemed to pay it any mind. They just walked from one room and gave the garbage pile as much attention and care as they had given the previous works. The collective insanity is spreading like a plague...

I was trying to put my finger on it, but thanks. How Europe is Changing How People Talk about Gender

It's pathetic how the bias shines through in the Washington Post article - they are celebrating this and acting as if we all just need to get on board and it's not the fascist Big Brother social engineering effort against the biological family that it really is.

Germany now has legalized a "third" gender for birth certificates.

Europe should be ashamed. None of this serves any purpose other than to placate small lobbying groups and give more control over children and the family to the State. I hate to say this but I think due to the SJWs you need to use hyperbole these days, so didn't Europe learn anything from the Nazis? When I see all this kind of stuff and "anti-racism" shaming on TV (like during the Champions League TV games) I just think it's an ersatz Goebbels campaign dressed up to make it look like it's for "the good of society" when it's actually terrible for the average European, their culture and economy. One of the funniest things kids did where I grew up was draw a giant cock on the deer crossing signs in permanent black marker.
