Are you talking about marriage affairs, or cheating in general? Just curious. I am not very familiar with AM, but who should suffer? The women who are on the site or men... or both? In my head I'm thinking that there will be a ton of men who will see if their wives are on the site and they will not handle it well if they find any level of doom and gloom. It may just give concrete evidence to what they already felt in their gut.

Now I want these hackers to release the ratios for other online dating sites.

If this is accurate, then it would explain why I have seen very little talk about this amongst my network of friends. Women don't share this, it makes them look bad.

I would also be interested in the stats from the dating and hookup sites. I do not use online game because it fucking wears me out to swipe and read about people that I don't give a shit about, but if I knew the numbers were able to produce decent prospects, I might give it more of a chance. I have only tried Tinder briefly and I attracted all kinds of girls that wanted to go on dates and be in relationships instead of gettin it quick. I don't have this problem on my approaches when I open a girl.

Marriage affairs. If you're not married to someone, then I really don't care what you do with your time.

Quote:You came to a game forum to shame other's sex lives?

I'm not shaming anybody for their sex life. Shaming you for your sex life means mocking your love of anal or your propensity for Batman and Robin erotic role-play on Saturday nights after the kids are asleep. What you get up to in your bedroom is of no concern to me, or to anybody else.

But if you make a vow in public, in front of your family, a priest, and all your best friends, that you're only going to have sex with this one person, and then you break that vow, then yes, you deserve shaming. You deserve all the shaming that society has to offer you.

Two different things. Men are biologically constructed to seek out multiple partners and are not as emotionally invested in the women they have sex with. I think another member of this forum once said, "For a man, banging a woman is like taking a good shit."

It's not like that for women. They can't help but put some emotional investment into the man whose seed they allow, literally or symbolically, into their precious womb, because they have a finite number of eggs and a limited fertility window.

Do you know what would be really funny? If Jared from Subway showed up on Ashley Madison's list.

Two big news stories would come crashing together. Worlds would collide!!

Just checked it, it's over resource limit for one. #2 the data sets being used are incomplete, I know this because I searched for data I know is in the main set and came up snake-eyes.

I too am interested in the answer. I have a hard time reconciling folks who take pleasure in the suffering of others. A little schadenfreude is good for the soul, but openly talking about making people "pay" for their cheating? Just seems like a waste of time.

I'm sure that more than a few of those espousing this point of view have banged married broads with or without their personal knowledge - would it be ok if your shit hit the Net and some troglodyte showed up to shoot yer ass? I'm sure many are like "fuck'em - doesn't affect me" well broheems, you're not bulletproof. When you're young and inexperienced you don't think anything is ever going to hurt you.

How about the innocents that might be involved?

Anyway the chips will fall where they may...

p.s. I'd hate to be working for the DCMA today.

I liked SamualBRoberts' post, because I feel the same way. For me personally, the issue is breaking a vow you made. If you get married, which is after all a choice made with freewill, you are making a solemn vow of loyalty. Any man, or woman, who makes a vow on their life ('til death do us part), and then breaks that vow, is greatly diminished in my view. The same, to be honest, is true when you agree with a girl that you're in a relationship and exclusive. If you make that promise, then sneak around behind her back, then I personally believe that is a clear sign of weak character. I have no problem with guys who break girls hearts, or who exaggerate their accomplishments to shag girls, but if you are able to deceive and sneak around behind the backs of the people who are supposed to be inside your inner circle of trust, then you are setting a precedent that is hard to look past for other relationships.

I don't mind if my friends are cruel towards strangers, aggressive, heartbreakers, bastards, whatever - plenty of my friends have lots of enemies. But if a man can't show loyalty to those he makes a free choice to allow into his inner circle, then he is worthless to me. Of course, this is personal, and a result of the qualities I value in my relationships with men and women. Loyalty is the foremost virtue in my own code. If it isn't so important in another man's code, that's his prerogative, but he will have no place in my tribe.

That's complete bullshit.

Have you ever been in a serious relationship or marriage? Have you ever even had a girlfriend? Men are instinctively protective of females in the same way females are instinctively protective of children; that's precisely why "cuckolding" strikes such a nerve and is considered the lowest form of degradation possible for men. That's why men will fight, shoot, and beat the piss out of guys they catch sleeping with their wives. There's a possessive element to relationships as deeply rooted in biology as men's elevated sex drives in comparison to women.

You're reading entry-level red pill stuff and using it to justify adultery in marriage, as if testosterone completely absolves you from emotional responsibility and maturity in relationships with women. I'm more shocked than disappointed. Just wait until you come home and see your wife (if you marry at all) getting banged out by a stranger. When it happens, I want you to log in at RVF and PM me about how little it bothers you and how "natural" it is. It's biology after all, right?

What's most sickening is that the same guys who defend adultery in marriage and encourage it as a "red pill player lifestyle" are the first to bitch about gays getting married and feminists degrading culture. You completely fail to see the role you yourselves play in the downfall of Western civilization. RVF is a treasure trove of knowledge and support for men who need it, but some of the posts in this thread are a death trap for vulnerable guys. You're helping no one and the message you're sending is going to ruin lives - perhaps even your own, when the chickens come home to roost.

I wonder if the hack was SJW motivated or ransom motivated in the first place?

For example, I wonder if the hackers stole the data and tried to get Ashley Madison to pay a ransom for it back? Ashley Madison refused so the hackers adopted the SJW stance to exact retribution against AshMad.

That, or one of the main hackers had his gf met and get fucked by some dude of AshMad. LOL

I completely agree. I used to love banging married broads (when I was married and single) and stopped when saw the destructive ripple effects and near misses on my own personal safety. People freak the fuck out when it comes to adultery, its not the banging in itself its the extreme betrayal.

By that same token, stepping in and being the Frank Castle/Punisher of the maritally unfaithful is also dangerous. You are stepping into the middle of a gunfight and when people are crazy they turn on the messenger just as easily as the party responsible...especially women, and especially women that dont' want to believe it.

Denial is a powerful drug (see the feminists claiming that roosh's newspaper photo is fake)

RE: Ashley Madison hacked - affairs might not be so secret
Blick Mang strikes again!

For real though, he's right about how posts like that are dangerous for newer and more vulnerable guys that are just starting to figure this stuff out. You could call it phase 1, that kind of early bitterness towards women and men are so great do whatever the fuck you want when you want kind of stuff. I think sometimes guys will come on here briefly and the message is misconstrued. The depth of what Blick Mang is talking about here is something you will only see if you stick around consistently and long enough but not everybody does.

I think it's absolutely vital that more of us seek to spread this message of truth, cut through the initial phase 1 bullshit and get closer to what we are all really here for. That is to become better men each and every day and to achieve happiness in our daily lives. That is to cherish and upload the values of respect, courage, honour etc, to lift others up, show them the way. We want to fight against the downfall, not contribute to it.

We need to do a better job of making sure that people don't come on here and get the wrong ideas and go round hating on all women and absolving themselves of all blame because they are male. Guys can easily take it all too literally and go off the deep end with it. They may have some success initially sure, but you have to keep learning and keep pushing yourself to grow by maintaining an open mind.

Ashley Madison must be suffering plenty of cash bleeds. Will this kill the site or give it a breath of fresh air when a good chunk of men leave the site?

However I have no idea what their motive is, it doesn't seem to be to expose the peopl using it.

I'd be willing to bet one or more of the crackers involved paid the "complete removal of data fee" upon account closure and then poked around to see if it had been done. Then there started the vendetta. It would seem to have morphed into "you deserve what you get and damn the consequences".

People could actually die or suffer severe personal injury. People who paid to be protected from this - I smell a class action suit.

I have no media source for this. But from what I'm getting, the hackers originally targeted the site because they lied about collecting data that was supposed to be deleted. So they did this to punish the site -- by essentially wrecking it.

However, it's really unfair (and illogical) to make the users pay for the Web site's own bad policy. I'll bet quite a few sites lie about data collection...which leads me to my next point.

I wouldn't take any pleasure in the downfall of others in this case. Why? Because all of us had to have bought something (Viagra), written something under a pseudonym (ahem), or joined something online (any porn site you can think of) that would be embarrassing if exposed under our real names. If hackers decide to start doing this regularly to other sites, a lot of people are going to be embarrassed about a lot of things.

The infographics have started up:

Note that Roosh's most recent battleground is #4 on the list. Also note that while Toronto has a similar number of accounts to Santiago, Toronto has half the population.
